I can tell you for sure that you are not a burden to your family, bc if the roles were reversed with any one of them, you would want them to know that you love them and want them to rely on you in tough times. I know it's tough to not feel that way, but it's important to remember that this is something that happened to you and not something you decided to bring upon yourself, so there's no point in feeling guilty or like a burden! sending you lot of love too, we'll be healthy soon enough.❤️
It is hard on caregivers and loved ones and I know what you mean. I hate it when I feel terrible at family functions. I feel like it brings the mood down. But your people care about you and it's the cancer that they don't like, it's not you. You're a very important part of your family and they worry about you, that's all. It never bothered me if they wanted to have fun. It's perfectly fine. You just keep fighting and focus on you. It's ok to be selfish (not saying you are) during your treatments and hopefully recovery. Your focus needs to be you. So don't you worry about that. What kind of cancer do you have? Hi Lisa, I only found your channel yesterday because one of your videos was recommended to me. I'm a fellow Russian who lives abroad and I love your content. Please know that there are people who truly appreciate your hard work and your long deep dives. I love how articulate and collected you are, and I love that honesty that many of us Slavs share. You are a strong woman by all means, it's evident from your videos. However I know that deep inside you are scared and afraid, and please know that it is totally normal! I want you to know that there are people in this world who appreciate your bright individuality, you are valued and we all hope that you can get through these hard times. You also inspire me to not dwell in self-pity. Thank you so much for all you do, and if you decide to take a break from making videos to focus on your healing process - feel free to do so! We will wait patiently. I wish you a speedy recovery, you've got this.
i’m so sorry Lisa. My aunty was diagnosed with cancer last year and it broke my heart. She went through chemotherapy and thank god she’s finished and recovering now. We love you so much. Please don’t worry about your upload schedule. We’re always here for you. Please be gentle with yourself.
I cried a lot when you described your experiences with the tests. I'm just like you, I hate going to hospitals and have panic attacks when I even think about experiencing pain. I can only imagine what you've gone through till now. I seriously hope you have many moments of joy in the future.
Yeah my panic disorder gets so bad when I’m in hospitals, literally everything triggers me haha it’s ok though, they’re all working there to help me and I’m so grateful for the medical staff… still gonna be scared as hell though ahahah
My mom had hogkins lymphoma when she 20 years old when the treatments weren’t very advanced. After chemotherapy and radiation therapy and a surgery at Stanford, they told her she would never be able to have children. But she has four healthy children, has lived her best live to 55 years of age. (She has mesothelioma diagnosed last year, possibly unrelated to her previous cancer, and is doing better than most with this diagnosis) All the best to you I hope you can continue to do fulfilling work and things you can enjoy while you fight through treatment!
Thank you for telling me, it helps a lot! I’m sad to hear she got cancer again, but hopefully she’s one of those lucky ppl who can live for a long time with it
This just showed up in my recommended videos, I’m 25 and I’ve had Hodgkin’s lymphoma twice. I am sending you so much love, always advocate for yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for pain relief. If you have to get another bone marrow biopsy, try and see if your doctors will put you out. I have some “cancer friends” that have had luck with that- They are literally the worst (for my last one I wore a goofy pair of panties that said “living my best life” on the ass-my doctor laughed) I did the exact same thing with my hair- I cut it short right after my diagnosis Stay strong 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Saying "I'm sorry" doesn't feel enough, but I really am sorry, Lisa. Just a tip for when chemo starts (from family experience, I'm by no means a doctor): nutrition is fundamental! So try having smaller meals every few hours instead of the 3 average meals a day; you'll also probably need more protein than you do now, to help your immune system and everything else. A little side note: you look lovely with this haircut 💗 Wishing you a calm and speedy process of recovery!
thank you so so much, Luiza! Yeah I've been hearing that smaller meals will go a lot better than big ones, especially with all the side effects, so I should think about that beforehand to plan it out. and thank you hehe💛💛💛
@@LisaFevral Nursing student here! We've seen that with chemo you might also find strong smells (for example the smell of fish, some veggies like cauliflower, etc.) to make you feel nauseated, as many people find their sensitivity to certain smells to be increased. You might want to avoid such products or avoid the kitchen while food is being cooked altogether in order to keep you from turning away from food. Cold foods also have little smell, as opposed to warm ones. I am so sorry that this is happening to you, please keep your head up straight! A positive outlook really does make an impact on the course of the illness.
I’ve just discovered your channel but noticed right away how interesting, charismatic and kind you are. Take your time through the process and never be afraid to let out the feelings and emotions that need to. I wish you the most encouraging environment and the best recovery journey possible. This made me think a lot about how I am, in fact, not invincible. Thank you for speaking about it, and I can't imagine how hard it must be to have this smacked in your face at 24. I wish you the best, I wish you the least of problems you possibly can have after this, and I wish you get through this as good as you can.

I could not imagine what you are going through right now. Honestly my heart literally dropped when I read the description at the same time you were talking about getting a thyroid ultrasound. I'm 24 as well and also just had a thyroid ultrasound two weeks ago, and for months I have been scaring myself thinking I may have lymphoma or something wrong with my lymphatic system. You are a beast when recording this video. I can't imagine how hard it was to start recording, recording, and then publish this. You are beautiful in and out no matter how much you change during your journey. I wish you receive all the love in the world.
It's so horrible that anybody would have to go through something like this, especially at such a young age. I'm wishing you all the best with your recovery. Also, you have really pretty eyes and a beautiful voice. (I mean that in a friendly complimentary type of way - not a creepy type of way!)

Best of wishes to you. One of my best friends siblings got brain cancer at age 7 and survived, luckily. I hope that we find a cure for the BS that is this disease in my lifetime.
I'm so sorry. I'm an artist but in my day job I actually work at a cancer clinic, checking people into their appointments. It is a lot of daily matinence and it's hard. I try to make the patients laugh when I can, or at least be as friendly and warm as possible. You guys are going through hell, but try to think on one small nice thing every day.. Even if it's just one joke someone told you, or something you saw in nature on your way there. Take this day by day. I wish you all the best luck. Life is not fair. You do the best you can my friend.
I've had very close family get organ cancer and can't even imagine how it must have felt hearing the news right then and there. But I am so glad to hear that the statistics are in your favour. We're all sending you love and strength and wishing you keep doing everything that you enjoy
My coworker had breast cancer at age 27 after already being a kidney cancer survivor which she had at age 6. She beat both. She says the best things that helped her was dark humor and meeting others who were either getting treatment now or in remission. Be kind to yourself on this journey and try different coping mechanisms to find what works best for you. Also to help with the unfamiliarity of hospital settings, pack a backpack with personal items like your own blankie, stuffed animals, pillows, dress comfy, bring a photo to set on the table if you're going to be there a longer time, and bring an activity of some kind.
thank you for telling me about her beating both cancers, it really helps morally speaking haha and thank you for the tips, I'll bring some of my stuff when I go in for chemo!
I cannot imagine how scary it is to say those words, " I have cancer." But you are so strong for filming this video and sharing it with your audience. My heart goes out to you. I hope you have the love, support, and care you need while you recover. Wishing you the very, very best.

I understand your pain, because few days ago I found out that I am HIV positive. It's hard to accepte, and I have the same mood and depression as you. But I think it's too early to give up, Hodgkin's lymphoma is very well treated nowadays, I have friend that had this type of cancer and he recovered. And now it's even difficult to say that he was once ill. Yes, it can take a whole year, but does it interfere with your creativity? Dont lose hope, I know that its foolish to say "everything will be fine", but your disease is curable, just understand that you need to fight and keep on living.
yeah it take awhile to accept the diagnosis, but there are treatments for these things now, so it's just a matter of adjustment. I hope you're gonna feel better soon, try and be gentle to yourself, it helps a lot!

Thnk you sm💛 I’m glad there are people like you trying to make our days a bit better through this!
I've had very close family get organ cancer and can't even imagine how it must have felt hearing the news right then and there. But I am so glad to hear that the statistics are in your favour. We're all sending you love and strength and wishing you keep doing everything that you enjoy
Yeah it sucked to hear the news, but at least my chances are good! And thank you🤍🤍
My coworker had breast cancer at age 27 after already being a kidney cancer survivor which she had at age 6.
💛💛

Right now I am currently in chemotherapy treatment for the EXACT same thing... literally same diagnosis, same mediastinal tumor (mine was 7cm) Im in stage 4 and i am 21 years old. I know exactly how you were feeling... I just found your channel and I really enjoy your content and I really wish the best for you!
Thankfully this is a treatable one, so even in stage 4 you’ll definitely be ok! And thank you, I wish the best for you too!
You WILL recover from this. You WILL survive this. It's been tiring yes, but you will beat this cancer's ass and come out stronger than ever!!!!! 🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽
Also your hair looks lovely!!!

I'm really impressed with how strong you are. Words don't seem to be sufficient in this type of situation and it is easy to fall into trite cliches, but:
