Wonderful review of an awesome car Kiri bro ! ..as a kid in the early 1970's I remember these cars driving around in Italy !! My Dad used to work there as a management trainer and he took his family along for a holiday !!
The five speed transmission feels weird when you first drive it as the lever is direct and seems too far forward. After a few moments of acclimation it becomes unobtrusive and, as they say, falls readily to hand. I found the overall balance of the cars, the weighted controls, the excellent brakes, the willing (Spica FI in the US) and smooth engine, the interior and exterior design, especially the 69 with flying buttress seats, to be as close to perfect as possible in the era. The Porsche 911 is the only other car, in my experience, that offered a similar feeling for the driver. Back in the day they were even affordable. Nice video.
Nice work Kiri. Great detailed information on the Alfa 1750 GTV. 🤩🤝👍 So many changes in th emotor manufacturing over the past decade. As you have already mentioned it here, a friend of mine went over to Italy to see this annual car rally with old sports cars. It is quite a film in my opinion and I have tried to encourage him to set up a YT channel and upload it but has not done so yet! Have a nice Sunday from Paul & Kath GB 🤝👍
