I had a 2021 Z19 pro and traded it in for a 2023 Z520R ranger. I love the Z520R, best riding boat I've ever been in! I received a 5,000 dollar discount because it is a 2023, "I just bought Ranger in March of 2024" and a 3,000 dollar discount for it being a demo boat "but never used" it only had 6 minutes on motor. The build quality v/s the Nitro is very noticeable. It came loaded out, two 12 inch console HDS graphs and a 12 on bow, dual power pole blades and ghost 36 volt trolling motor. Dual consoles and ever storage box is LED lighted including live well. Cost was 105,000! I do believe I'll keep this boat for a long time. It handles waves and wakes like a champ, never been more confident driving a boat like I do with this one.

👀 $100,305 for 2022, But you know what scratch that $85k Yukon we going full douche get that 2022 Range Rover SVAUTOBIOGRAPHY5 full loaded for $260,000. Now you have $360,305 worth of notes to pay. Sounds reasonable to me and affordable to every blue collar worker, Sign Me Up!

Andy, If i am going to spend that type of money, I am going with Ballistic because of your over/under with that boat. But, i am staying with my Champ 203 where i have spent a little less than half of the price of that ranger. I really enjoy your place.
this madness wont stop until people stop paying for it!..there are good deals out there if you look hard enough.i just bought a new 2022 ranger 518 with a pro xs 200 for 43k.i got it from a couple of dudes that won it in a tourney and just wanted to sell it before winter.even at 43k i was hesitant,however..for a new boat with warranty,i couldnt beat it!

Sort of off-topic, but while we are talking about Ranger, what's your opinion on the 2010 Z518? 200 ProXs on the back. Asking price is 32k with ultrex 112, helix 8 and 10, and one 8ft pole

Saw it at the Expo. Massive console. No carpet in boxes just finished fiberglass and sea deck. Was actually cheaper than the new Triton and about the same cost as the new Nitro. Was nice for sure. They had twin Lowrance and Ghost on the display I believe. Was more like low 80’s if my memory is close.
Yeah they had (4) 12 inch lowrance graphs on it and it was actually cheaper than the new nitro.
I love Ranger boats and this is why I bought a used Ranger Z-119c with a 225 Merc it runs 70+ and I have a payment I can live with not 100,000 $ dollar boat with a 2000,00 a month payment I can still eat and put gas in it. Dam thats nuts
The ranger ride system is like a Auto Pilot for a pro tournament boat so the pro angler can have hands free use for the five 12” graphs.

Ranger is a great, top 5 boat.
I gotta question apart from this . I want to put a bigger motor on my g3( Tin can ). I have a 115 on a hydraulic jack plate and am considering putting a 175 sho on it. I know it will void the warranty of the boat, but so what. Why would the transom not be able to tolerate 50 more pounds ? I figured you might do something like this.
8 foot poles because we are up in the shallow part of the river and they travel better. We went with the Birds mainly because we prefer that system and have more experience with it for now. As far as the bigger motor go with the max hp that the boat is rated for. Anything bigger will not be coast guard approved

Andy! Andy! How about the 30th Anniversary Bass Cat Puma? If the Ranger is wide and fast, then it's still overpriced. I hope Ranger's quality has gone up. A lot of their former bass pros are in Skeeters.

Local boat dealer here has a Ranger priced at $102,000.00 and will not take any less!!
Ehhh ... if you really wanted to do a fair assessment you would have done the Z520 Cup equipped model (79.9k) which comes with 2x 12" Lowrance Lives w/ Active Target and a BUNCH of the stuff you optioned in on the Base R @ substantial additional cost. I've built the Cup boat, with quite a few options + a port console, @ 85.5k (pre-tax). Cheap ? No way but DEF not a 100k+ boat like the R boat you built here.

We are working on that! Currently Skeeter doesn't have any pricing on their site and aren't selling any new rigs due to the fact that Yamaha cannot supply any motors for them.

Just repowered my 2002 Ranger 520 VX that I paid $16k for used . Added a bunch of new electronics and I’m good to go.

Quick question. How much should it cost to have my seals on my lower unit replaced? I got line in the prop and now about 4-5 uses later it's leaking oil out of the lower unit??
To give an honest opinion I’d have to fish out of one for a few months but as the price clearly says…….. that’s not gonna happen. $60k gets the job done for me with all the same contingencies. One company offers multiple brand boats, different prices….same rewards lol

Love ranger boats but without Forrest overlooking the builds of these boats I think it’s an over hyped tracker now. Sad bass boats cost more than houses now. It’s definitely become a rich mans sport. I have a 2013 z521 and will prob keep it till it sinks.

I have a 2019 Z521L it's not the fastest boat I've ever owned but it sure is the best riding for sure being 57 years young 68 mph is fast enough for me and I don't want another boat. But 100,300 is a little bit more than I would spend so I'm gonna say over priced

There is much better quality out there for similar money. Some loaded with more meaningful standard equipment and less needed spend on options.

It’s a Nitro dressed in a Halloween costume. I say it’s overpriced, if I want to drop 6 figures on a boat, I am going to call the guys that build Ballistic and have a BADASS 6 figure boat!!!
Looks like a used ranger boat will be a better option and probably better in the long run. I'd take a Gator Trax over that boat any day.

Love my 2013 ranger, didn't buy brand new... But I'd never buy brand new ranger... Absolutely insane money for what's being built, especially now Forrest has nothing to do with it... Couple friends have 2018+ and they are absolutely not built as well as my 2013... For me this is absolutely overpriced

My NAME IS ROGER. I HAVE READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS. $100,000.00 is a lot for a bass boat. The problem we are going to face is another recession tanks to this idiot in Washington. I hate to say it but there will be a lot of repo boat for those who finance. It is truly sad. I believe JM will get rid of Ranger in the future. He wants the Nitro to be the boat. Look what happen to Legend boats. Great boat. I have looked at all the bass boats. I have had 9 bass boats in my life. I love to bass fish and my wife is great at throwing a worm. We have a lot of fun. I currently have a 2021 Ranger RT178 with a 60 hp and an Ultrex on the front end. It meets all I need. If I win the Lottery I would but the new 2023 521R that Hank Parker introduced. It is sharp. Probably 110,000.00! Common sense tells you to fish with what you can afford.
It’s all going to depend on how many issues they have. I think we probably know how the fancy Nitro is going to hold up. Over priced for me.
Ive been looking hard online at boat’s and people are snatching up those Nitro’s! What are some of the horror story’s out their about them? Ive been out of the game since 2005 so I’m trying to find a boat.
@@mp5kfisher241 I would ask the team marine guys directly but top cap separation issues is the main thing that I have read/heard about. It think so many are being purchased because ALL brands are selling. It’s can be difficult to find boats in inventory. IMO, all brands have issues so do your diligence and have the boat you want looked at by professionals like Team Marine.
Kirk Reusch hey thank you buddy! I was looking to get a bass cat or skeeter. I was a ranger fan but after the takeover i just dont know about the rangers now. My dad had a Nitro back in the early to mid 1990’s, the Rick Clunn edition LOL it seemed like a good boat, was just too small for both of us.

Over priced, I personally would not buy a ranger because of the owner and they are junk. I personally know a dealer who sells ranger and he said they had to replace 65% of the switch panels because they are junk and I have seen the gel coat on the newer boats after they get hit with a 1/2 weight. The only ranger I would buy is a 2014 and older because forest wood built quality boats. So that being said I will stick to my champion.
