A few key features that sets Nelson Rigg's Rain Gear apart from the rest are:
1) All seams are electronically taped to keep water out!!
2) Soft tricot lined collar with integrated rain hood
3) Over-sized zipper free self-fastening leg gussets for easy boot entry

I've been looking for a good set of rain gear for ATV'ing, but holy cow, there are so many options! 😨Really liked the Nelson Rigg gear and found your review here on UA-cam. I was ready to purchase and used your link and discount code. Thank you! I'm retired now, so every dollar counts these days and this was a substantial discount. I went for the higher priced stand alone jacket along with the pants. Looking forward to trying them on when I get them. I wear XXL in coats, so ordered that in both the coat and pants. I'm 6'-2" and about 250 lbs. (depending on what I eat that week 😂). Thanks again!

Excellent review! You checked all the important boxes. Well done! You should do a video on weatherproof/waterproof gloves. Personally, I find that to be one of the toughest items to find as far as moto gear goes. Without spending crazy money that is.

Great review, finding good rain gear can be a struggle. Riding up North I would love to hear your take on heated jacket liners and heated grips.
I added heated grips to my 09 Dyna Super Glide this past winter. Had the dealer install since I was having a bunch of upgrades done. $300 for the grips and $200 to install. Best decision ever. Work like a charm . Was using heated gloves before and they sucked. Get heated grips. You will absolutely love them.

Getting your legs in the pants wearing boots is always a problem. Life hack, l always have a Walmart plastic bag in my rain gear bag. Slide that plastic back over your boot and then slide into the pants. Never have it hang up again, slides in so slick. Try it. LOL

I'm looking for rain pants with full side zips. Started raining a half hour into a 500 mile ride. I had to take my boots off to get the rain pants on. Standing in the rain without boots is not desirable.

One question. The inner thigh being different material is a must. Does it go all the way down to boots and melt resistant? That is always a downside of rain gear.

The one that she mentions at beginning of video is not the storm rider rain suit. It’s actually the Solo Storm.
Play only problem I have with Nelson but I also have it with everybody else I have a 40 inch insane. With my jeans. 😢
What is the different between this suit and the cheaper suit? If there a difference if the quality and durability of the cheaper pants vs the more expensive?

This is not the rain suit combo, What it looks like your using is the solo storm pants and jacket. The suit has pants with stirrups and what you show on the video doesn’t. Is that correct?

I have rain gear that keeps the rain off me. I do need the boot covers. I hate wet shoes.

Ibe run into a few different guus that swore by the harley heavy duty raingear. Big long coat and suspender pants. Ive bought the harley regular rain gear for me andmy ol lady in a emergency once and that stuff was garbage. Cost about $150ish for mine and same for hers. Wprt money i ever spent. I dont like buying stuff off th i ternet and through the mail. Ive never seen the harley heavy duty rain gear in the store so ive never bought it.
