I’m heading to Vietnam in March for the first time and being vegetarian was apprehensive about finding any good vegetarian street food... but holy shit all of those looked amazing! Great that you show the name of the places too, can’t wait to get over there now and try some of these! Thanks for the great video!
Hal Dyson there are alot of great vegetarian restaurants in Hanoi! Here are few good ones: Hoang’s restaurant, Viet Garden Cuisine, Era restaurant, Bami An Bread (they have vegetarian banh mi). All these are in Hanoi though!
people ask why fast food companies do not success in Vietnam. They have no chance to beat the local street food. Here we go, you have the answer. We have variety of food on the street. Thousands of food options. Most dishes are cheaper and healthier than fast food. Banh my, Pho how can fast food beat them?
@Jason: the reason Southeast Asians add salt to fruits (esp. green mangoes and watermelons) is to make it tastes sweeter. Since you taste the salt first so anything afterwards will be sweeter. Adding the chili just increase your appetite.
The Coconut coffee and Banana dessert looked very appealing. I would not choose the Pho as my last meal but certainly a big bowl and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I would not have visited Vietnam before watching that video but would consider it now.
if you want to go to the northeastern mountains, take a organized 3 days trip to the waterfalls and the Ba Be lake. you will sleep in 2 homestays and you will eat loads of real Vietnamese food!
The food look good and cheap he love the food look healthy he maybe can eat any food this look like puddling the coffee look good thank you for sharing happy holiday, 23--11--18.
Hello... would you please mention the places where you have visited? I’m in search of finding vegetarian food or nearly halal-friendly. Thank you so much in advance
prudence rosaldo I wouldn’t have asked if he put the information on the description box. I will be in hanoi on february and I have been searching for nearly halal-friendly or vegetarian meal ever since I booked the ticket. Language barrier is the major problem I would face for sure.
Banh bao chay is correct :) not Banh Bao Cay Chay is vegetarian Cay is spicy Your video is amazing and cool bro Welcome to Vietnam ✌️✌️😊😊😎🤜🤛😂 Have you planned to visit to Ho Chi Minh City?
Thank you thank you thank you for a) being a vegetarian and documenting your vegetarian food crawls and b) not trying to be some kind of too-cool-for-school hipster/bro type with an extra UA-cam personality. Your lack of personality is what makes you endearing, and that is not an insult in the slightest.
Any idea how many animals were wiped out (slaughtered with no mercy ) tilling and harvesting the land to make the bread you are so righteously eating ?
The full VN experience includes its people, scenery, and the cuisine...with meat!!! Nice guy...I enjoyed the travel videos. However, doing a food video review of VN cuisine, vegetarian style...is like talking about British literature without Shakespeare, Dickens, Swift, Eliot, ect...You basically have only experienced the Monty Python of VN cuisine with your self-imposed limitation...Too bad:-(!!!
