HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!
The Food Ranger it’s called cold desert with ice we have here in the Philippine called halo halo here Philippine mix of different fruits with ice and milk and a mix of different fruits
Two things Trevor: 1) I love that you're so fearless when speaking in a foreign language. Although pronunciation may be a little off but I can understand you. Applauds to u bc I'd be to timid to even try to speak even tho I know. 2) It's fantastic to see Ying in ur videos. Awesome to hear another person's opinion on food in same video. Keep up the great work!
I think that is how you get good at languages, not just studying from books or in a classroom. You have to get out there and talk and yes make some bad mistakes sometimes. Things stick in your mind much easier when you learn words in the context of real life.
Thank you so much to everyone that recommended these street food locations to us in Hanoi, especially the stinky specialty at the end! And I also have to give a huge thanks to our friend and camera girl for this trip to Vietnam, Shumeen. You can follow her on Instagram: instagram.com/tiger.mint and follow myself @ instagram.com/thefoodranger Ting is going to be in the videos a little bit more now 😃Thank you so much for watching, and please let us know what you thought below!

malay ko sayo Dude you got trick by them fresh coconut is only less than 1$ You should be more careful the next time you visit other country And you got robbed by a cycling uncle? Lol that kindda funny
Can't wait to watch! If you're not drooling by 2:20, there is something wrong with you. All the pho places around me have crazy/fusion pho - nothing that simple. They won't even make it for you because they "..dont know how to charge you." So jealous! Thanks for the upload!
Hi Trevor! So if u going to travel to Sai Gon next i recommend these places for foodXD!!! 1/ Bún Bò Huế(89 Huỳnh Tịnh Của St,dis3) 2/Banh canh cua Ut Le(204-210 Tô Hiến Thành St,Dis 10) 3/Bún Thịt Nướng,Bánh Mì Hấp(195 Cô Giang st,dis 1) 4/Bún Riêu(66 Nguyễn Thái Bình St, dis1) 5/Ốc Thảo- seafood(99 Vĩnh Khanh Street, dis 4) 6/Cơm Tấm(this dish is sold everywhere in Sai Gon, but i think u should go to Tân Định Market for it? Snack 1/Bánh tráng cuốn Bà Bắc(40 11th Street, Dis 4) 2/ Chè Hà Ký (châu văn liêm St, Dis 5, many chinese people are living in dis 5 so i think its not a problem for u to communicate haha XD) And many many more dishes and snacks are around big market like Tân Định market, Nguyễn Thái Bình market,Bàn Cờ market, Xóm Chiếu market,Hòa Hưng market,... There are some around Bến Thành market too but i wouldnt recomend you go there since you are likely gonna get rib off by the sellers :'( Anyway love your videos so much XD Hope to see you one day mate XD
Hey these are great recommendations. I really want to save this comment for later references. Not sure how tho. Can someone help me out by replying to my comment?
Once again, it is so refreshing watching and watching again, and listening to your enthusiasm. Thanks for your useful and pratical tips for unaware wandering travellers.
The PHO is all about the broth, man. I am so happy I have such a prominent vietnamese population in my area, pho has become one of my staple comfort foods.

Trevor, freshness and everything in one bite is the philosophy of Vietnamese food. Last dish, noodle sheet meat herb then dip don't drown it, that sauce is heavily concentrated! Awesome vid thanks!
I just love your friendliness and the effort you put out to learn foreign language wherever you set foot to. It's so warm hearing you speaking Vietnamese. Yes you made some mistakes but you tried 😍 and it's awsome
Honestly Trevor if there's one thing you shouldn't eat in Vietnam rn it would the fruits, you can get very sick because they put a lot things to make it looks good and sweet, just a heads up. But durian rn is in season and is very. Hello from Saigon
Kathy NoneYa I'm just saying cause some people that are selling fruits are very fishy on what they're doing, I'm not saying don't eat it at all, just be cautious. :)
Mr Me I'm just being honest. She is somewhat cute. Not gorgeous though. And she hasn't talked enough for me to get a good sense of her as a person. I'm sure she's a good person
Adrian Sanchez she's married to her boyfriend (who has helped filmed in the past before Trevors girlfriend), the cameraman (Ling Ling I believe?) is Trevor's girlfriend.
Hi Trevor, thank you for visiting Viet Nam and doing a Vlog on it. I'm so glad you have a Ting Ting in the video as well, you guys look great together...again, I thank you.
Ikr. He dipped too much of the fermented shrimp sauce and was supposed to squeeze more lime juice in his sauce. Also, *Bun Dau is drunk food,* so it's meant to have a little kick for your taste buds. 16:19
These Videos in Vietnam is so far the best ! If you provide the address of those stalls that would be great ! I'd love to try these when I go to Vietnam
Come back to Hanoi again and I can show you a list of streetfood. If it has to be Pho, I'd like to recommend "Pho Thanh Long", which is on Lang Ha Street. And some really good food on "Huyen Alley", they have tasty "banh mi" and "rib porridge" (cháo sườn). And boiled snails (kind of) which you should try once! :) Thank you for the video, great one!
This is my third times watching the video! You have to try their freshly ground coffee bean and fresh brewed coffee! It is so nutty and smell so good! Some of the coffee beans in Canada is coming from Vietnam!
you guys have done a really great job and recall so many beautiful memories of my town for me :)) I'm studying abroad so thank you for this great reminding-trip :))

You and Ting look so cute together! 👫❤❤❤❤
u and mark vien are my favourite foodtubers
ali fariz I find Mark Wiens videos hard to watch; so overly dramatic.

You dipped way too much for the Bun Dau lol. A little goes a long way. Mix the ingredients in your mouth haha
Ikr. He dipped too much of the fermented shrimp sauce and was supposed to squeeze more lime juice in his sauce. Also, *Bun Dau is drunk food,* so it's meant to have a little kick for your taste buds. 16:19
I cringed when I saw him dip so much.
Henry Tran im Vietnamese and I dip more than him. Maybe because I just love shrimp sauce
