Unfortunately, just like in base game, the soundtrack is the only good thing in the campaign, lol. Maybe except the fact that there are throwbacks to legendary places, items and characters from D2, like Gidbinn in Kurast Docks, Ormus, or Durance of Hate where players fought him in Act 3. Honorable mention : Meshif as a ghost. The rest was a cheap Disney plot.
My absolute top 3 are: 1. Lingering Hatred (especially around 14:20) 2. Kurast (especially around 38:20) and Night (around 43:39) 3. In His footsteps (the whole thing basically) Insane work!
Personally, the only exception for me was Diablo III soundtrack. The overly orchestrated soundtrack was awful... They redeemed themselves with Diablo IV, and in the expansion they even stepping it up once again. This soundtrack is incredible!
I was impressed over and over by the redesigned soundtrack and the new OST of Vessel of Hatred and the entirety of Nahantu, the music team just knocked it out of the park
The trailers aren't for people who are already buying the expansion like you or me who much prefer this music. They're to target a completely different demographic with "hip" music etc.
You guys nailed VoH guys! Cant wait for more content for the next 10 years! hopefully we dont get a D3 situation with barely any new content after expansion..
VoH campaign and the new content in general is unplayable due to horrible audio distortion. especially when many mobs are on screen. Town Hubs also have stuttering and audio distortion. many people are reporting this.
AWESOME OST! Lingering Hatred, In His Footsteps or All Good Things, among others, will be legendary tracks of Diablo franchise. Kurast or Teganze Plateau are the best tribute to Matt Uelmen's legacy!
The fookin Spanish guitar! 38:11 and 38:30 Because this is the first time D4 revisit a zone from a previous game, if we come back to Khanduras or Aranoch, prepare yourself.
One of the best soundtracks of all times in games, marvelous job blizzard, now u need to focus on balancing the game, we dont want to see 99% people with one build.
A lot of these sound like they’re more inspired by Matt’s old Diablo music, but I 100% agree that he’s gotta come back for more. I think that piece feels the most Diablo out of them all aside from the one literal callback to Tristram in “The Tangles” and some parts of “Lingering Hatred”
Why not use these masterpieces for your trailers, y'all? Seriously way better than the Fortnite, Overwatch and COD vibes your trailers gave with all those pop-rock songs
Amazing job, really enjoyed it! I thought that after my favorite Nevesk and Ked Bardou theme, nothing could amaze me. I don’t understand why you used that terrible music in the past VoH trailers, and not use these excellent soundtracks.
Exactly man I legit thought oh what is an expansion soundtrack going to do to the main game's theme. It would stand no chance. I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this. Rarely do games make me stop what I'm doing just to listen to the music or even pull up the soundtracks for them. Great job to them.

This is seriously one of the best Diablo soundtracks in my opinion. Really made the VOH campaign come alive.

@@DoctorStrange01 I gave this campaign infinite chances to redeem itself, but even i have to admit that you are absolutely right
don't fool yourself... this is garbage compared to Matt Uelman OST

Blizz never disappointed on soundtracks
Just on games
and on the artwork (OK d3 was not what we expected) but d4 and wow are top notch. game design and stuff not aways on par 😂
@@marcux83 They really should design games as if they were 8 bit games to work out the mechanics and gameplay. Then add the fancy artwork later.

Diablo IV + Vessel of Hatred = two WONDERFUL soundracks. Thanks!
they let ted reedy do his thing again…what a brilliant composer! he deserves a blockbuster film soundtrack
I'm an Asian (South Korea) who has never seen Mesoamerica at all, but when I listen to this soundtrack, I feel like I'm Aztec!! Diablo is the best!🎉🎉🎉
My culture is not South American
Aztecs lived in North America...
@@Жиллиманмербал Sorry, I confused Mesoamerican civilization with Andean civilization. I apologize!
@@EmilioJVC Sorry, I confused Mesoamerican civilization with Andean civilization. I apologize!
To be more precise among with the Aztecs, the game's architecture is based on the Mayans and Lacandons too, southern Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula.
Lingering hatred is my favorite track. It's amazing
Blew my mind
Love the tribal vibes from the soundtrack!
Love the Samuk track! When I first got to town I just stopped to listen to it for a moment. Great work!
Such an AMAZING soundtrack. Didn't think you would be able to top the original.
At 1:34:52 it’s a call back to Tristram’s town music! Very cool!!!
yup, everytime i go to this area of map, really familiar. just without acoustic touch.
LINGERING HATRED 12:34 IS S-TIER
I was impressed over and over by the redesigned soundtrack and the new OST of Vessel of Hatred and the entirety of Nahantu, the music team just knocked it out of the park
Imagine if you just used this in the trailer instead of behind blue eyes.
I think Lingering Hatred is the best track personally and I loved hearing it for the first time during that last campfire

Soundtrack of VoH is awesome. Good job 🙌🏼
Excellent!!! The music in every Diablo is always perfect!

The vessel of 2 hours of Mid.
until the End, the campaign was nice (and short) but ended very abruptly.. the content except the new season theme (pretty lame) is fun tho :)
Never thought id reappreciate a game soundtrack after Diablo 2, havent finished yet and some pieces already makes it a Masterpiece
Travincal - chills down the spine on surround sound
The first time i heard the Tristram motif drop in the Tangles, absolute CHILLS
Finally someone else noticed!!! I thought I misheard and had to stop and listen to make sure! What a cool surprise :)
Just heard it myself, while blowing stuff up I was like; "HEY wait...No way!"
Music and graphics are TOP Tier in VOH. Great work Blizzard.
13:47 epic part
Wow! “Samuk” is absolutely beautiful. The audio in VoH is excellent!
AWESOME OST!
Lingering Hatred, In His Footsteps or All Good Things, among others, will be legendary tracks of Diablo franchise.
Kurast or Teganze Plateau are the best tribute to Matt Uelmen's legacy!
37:43 Track 11, Matt Uelmen theme for Kurast
The fookin Spanish guitar! 38:11 and 38:30
Because this is the first time D4 revisit a zone from a previous game, if we come back to Khanduras or Aranoch, prepare yourself.
You guys did an outstanding job on this soundtrack. Loving Vessel of Hatred. Thank you for bringing it to us!
Lingering Hatred is soooo good, gave me goosebumps when traveling through the jungle
A heartfelt congratulations and thankyou for the entire sound team! This is timeless, cinema-level music!
Track 11 - Kurast, it is the same song of lower, bazaar and upper Kurast in Diablo 2, same melody but remastered. Now it sounds amazing
... whole diablo 4 is a masterpiece, the music is also a proof for that 🧡
1:10:10 the most epic part of the sountrack
Surprised nobody else mentioned this… this tune plays a couple times in the campaign and is absolutely amazing
One of the best soundtracks of all times in games, marvelous job blizzard, now u need to focus on balancing the game, we dont want to see 99% people with one build.
My favourite track appears to be the only one Matt Uelmen is involved in, and I didn't know this until I saw this, need more Matt for these tracks.
A lot of these sound like they’re more inspired by Matt’s old Diablo music, but I 100% agree that he’s gotta come back for more.

@@m0002856 I agree, I just find it a shame that Matt was only invovled in the Kurast track from what I can see here.
The pan pipe sounds appearing in the overall soundtrack are so beautiful and succeeded in effectively depicting the new region "Nahantu".
Trilha sonora maravilhosa!!!🤩
12:34 probably the song you're looking for
00:37:42 I like that they remake kurast music, fantastic job.
26:34 hats off to ted reedy. this song is truly a boon.
1:37:50
Getting enchanted forest vibes rather than jungle.
But I love it
when it comes to soundtracks, blizzard never disappoints
This soundtrack is amazing. More than once I stopped playing to listen to it in-game.
My favorite track so far is Kurast. And of course it’s Matt Uelman! What an incredible artist!
another masterpiece as expected :) D4 was and still my fav soundtrack ever
Did anyone else have a big smile when they saw Mat Uelmen on the track list?
1:48:57 Vault of Light is beautiful
The Soundtrack is far better than the rest of the expansion. Well done on that.
First! Love this soundtrack
Lingering Hatred and In His Footsteps are fire 🔥
Lingering Hatred has become one of my favorite songs in the game
I absolutely love the Nahantu Track. As i logged in the game for the first time i stopped by listening to it first. Great work of the composer! ❤
Lingering hatred is so good
Finally the wait has an end..... Thanks to blizzard for the beautiful soundtracks
Regarding about the Gushing Wound, instead of 70% incrs., you should bring the bleeding dmg., back to 140% incrs. then add another 100%, please, fv
I wondered why the VoH soundtrack was so good, then I saw Matt Uelmen's name pop up and it all made sense.
beautiful soundtrack guys, thank you
Good work!
Track 9 is extremely reminiscent of Bear McCreary's Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles soundtrack
Many great tracks. I really like "Samuk" and the section at 1:40:08 👍
Why not use these masterpieces for your trailers, y'all? Seriously way better than the Fortnite, Overwatch and COD vibes your trailers gave with all those pop-rock songs
Miss the times where the collectors edition came with soundtrack.
Lingering Hatred, Travincal and The Tangles are 'Chef's Kiss'!
My Blood Sings In You... god i can's top replaying it. And the moment in the game, Mephisto's line was just perfect.
Kurast is a perfect merge of kurast soundtrack from d2 and new style of diablo 4
Lingering Hatred and Teganze Plateau are the best
This is yet another masterpiece
Ted Reedy, thanks your beautiful works.
Lingering Hatred is so f awesome! Love the soundtrack. Its even better than D4s.
Sure this is the best, Matt Uelmen is behind this, the boss of dark ost.
This is probably the best part of the DLC
The OST is great.
Very nice, good job!
