when i first reached jirandai on june 3rd, the music and ambience immidiately captured my attention.. and still to this day, even tho i dont play as much. you did a great job recapturing and editing this master piece.. well done, mate!!
Thank you very much👍 I was very much drawn to this tune the first time I heard it, but I could not place my finger on why it was not an immediate success, I guess it was the pacing of the song 🤔
@@DiabloOSTsupercuts the pacing indeed, not many people notice it often because most people run main quests and passes through jirandai fast, but first time when i was exploring everything.. i took my time and reason why i remember it so fondly as well as other regions.
Jirandai has the potential of becoming a beloved nostalgic piece, as it has some Tristam inspired pieces. That is why I completely re-edited the song based on all the different renditions and removing most of the ambient audio. Now it is a Diablo-nostalgic piece which should be a good listening experience. Starting with the main theme, including the middle parts in the mid section, reusing the OST version again in the middle and then going to less and less complex versions. Ending in the last part of the OST version of Jirandai. Do you like it? Did I succeed? Let me know in the comments👍
The music doesn't effect me the same way as Tristram but it's still very good and this mix you've done is excellent! I think Jirandai is growing on me :)
