If you know anything or have an opinion about this drone could you tell me and if you seem interested on this drone could you do an unboxing and reveiw on it?

Yes you do. Micro SD card, also known as TF card. Make sure that it's labeled as a V30 or U3 card to be able to record the 4K video. Amazon has them, about $8.

It shouldn't be. It should be as shown in my video. Are you referring to the low resolution sample video recorded on your phone? The high resolution 4K video is recorded to a memory card inserted in the drone.
No, not in the area that I fly now. But check the RC Escape channel. I think that he also reviewed this. He lives out in the desert, and may have been able to do a distance test.

I have Holy Stone HS720E. But I insert my smartphone into the remote control and this spinner flies a maximum of 50 meters. I read that it can fly at a distance of up to 1000 meters. What does this mean in my situation? My neighbor bought a drone for $55 from Aliexpress and it actually flies up to one kilometer. Maybe the distance of my drone depends on Wi-Fi? Thank you
Are you flying in an area with WiFi interference, such as near an apartment building or residential area. If not, maybe try a different phone. Some phones have better WiFi antennas than others.
Thanks for explaining the letter designations - can be confusing. A VERY important feature is auto return to home at low power/ signal loss/ out of range. I wish you would have tested those, but a great video otherwise.
I disagree I think he knew the pros and cons and tailored the reveiw around it.doesent mentioned the disconnection at 48m.or the range or the fact that to build the drone it cost 30bucks...Still think you got a good deal ...??
Most of the video that you viewed from the 700 and 720 was taken in cinematic slow speed rate. This helps the electronic image stabilization provide a very steady video. But both of these drones can fly much faster by simply pressing the rate button to select a higher speed. But in high speed flight, the video is not going to look as steady or smooth as it does in low speed cinema rate.
First time drone buyer, looking for drone to inspect home roofs. Don't want to break the bank, but don't want something so cheap. Would this suffice? Suggestions? Thank You.
Yes, this should more than suffice for roof inspections. In addition to viewing on the phone screen, recommend also recording the flight video to take advantage of the 4K camera (should provide good clear video of the roof in post flight viewing).
The only camera recording my voice is the hat camera. I use the hand movement to synchronize this recorded voice with the video from the drone. I do this in post editing with my video editing software. If I didn't do this, my video might look like a badly dubbed Kung Fu movie
MJX DNA which is a good thing of course, the extra money you pay for Holy Stone over MJX is after sales service, however, I've never had a problem with my MJX fleet. ( MJX RC PRO app also works on this drone ). By the way some of the latest Samsung Android phones although having 802.11 ac 5g WiFi are failing to communicate with some drones, also as you point out, the range can vary on your brand and model of phone, some have abysmal range, the pilot is then blaming the drone which is not at fault.
Yeah, this drone is the Holy Stone version of the MJX MG-1 that I reviewed back in December. It costs about $50 more than the MG-1, but having USA customer service may definitely make it worth it. Especially if you've ever had to make a return to China (it ain't easy, and it ain't cheap).

@@Bookofwords Go someplace that doesn't have brick walls, hedges, hills, fields.....wait a minute. How do you crash into a field? Anyway, find a place that doesn't have those other things or anything else you can crash into, like an open field, learn how to control it, THEN go back to where you have all those other things. Be aware that it will be a long time before you are ready for the last part. Also, there are YT videos that give you exercises you can work on to develop muscle memory, but it takes discipline to do them instead of just flying it around and crashing into.....well, you know. Did you complete the compass calibration? Also were you receiving at least seven satellites before pressing the red motor unlock switch (motors should start in idle after pressing this switch)?
@@Quadcopter101 Gor it going. I think the SD card was somehow interfering with operation. SD out, started working. 1st images seem reasonably good. My 1st Quad. Panning seems abrupt. Wonder if I can tame it down.
LOS? what about when it is two miles away sub 400' AGL? Some of those trees look a little too high to LOS through them. And that is horrible advice when you have a view of what the craft can see.
It's a legal requirement in some countries (especially in the USA) to keep the drone within line of sight (keep it visible). The intent is to be able to be able to see and avoid collision with a low flying manned aircraft, such as a helicopter. You can't do such if you're flying by screen alone.
I have seen many videos and several have comment you don't need Internet..BS,, I have a phone Samsung that doesn't have a sim card, at my house no problem it picks up my nailed up internet, went out in the woods would not work had to ,use my phone with cell service to log in.. Please correct me if I am wrong.. Holly Stone has not responded.
You need to connect to the drone's WiFi signal with your phone (not your home internet). Turn on the drone, then open your phone's WiFi settings. Look for the drone's WiFi signal, and connect to it the same way that you would connect to your home WiFi (no password needed). Then open the app. The drone's video should now be viewable through the app. If you want to use maps for the waypoint feature, you will need to use a phone with data connection. But that's the only feature that I can think of that needs data.
@@Quadcopter101 I got that, i connect to my phones internet at home, i was flying with a phone with no sim card at the house worked great, left the house same phone same drone would not log on.and yes i am logging on to the phones wifi.
I just tried it on my phone. You do need internet only one time when you first open the app, to sign up or log in to the app. But after that first sign in, it's no longer needed. I turned off both WiFi and data on my phone, and was able to enter the main interface of the app. Of course you're going to need WiFi turned on to connect to the drone's WiFi signal.
I’m on my second HS720G and am in the process of trying to return it for a refund. Let me start by saying that Holy Stone’s customer service is fantastic. I can’t stress that enough. Unfortunately, that doesn’t solve the poor video quality I have experienced, now with two of these drones. The first suffered from extremely shaky video and overall mediocre image quality. The replacement they sent still had shaky video, although it was less pronounced, and the overall video quality was even worse than the first. The color balance is way off and the image has an extremely soft look to it. And then, to make matters worse, the wi-fi on the second unit would constantly disconnect. And worse, still, the controller itself disconnected when the drone was only out at about 400 feet from me - with a clear line of sight. Sadly, the HS720G is a classic example of “you get what you pay for.” I previously flew a DJI Phantom 3 Pro, but sold it due to just not flying much at all. The quality difference in the video and the overall flight experience is dramatic. I’ve decided to go back to DJI and ordered a Mini 3 Pro with the DJI RC controller. It’s close to $700 more, but the features, quality, range, and overall experience are worth it. ✌🏻
Have 2 720 es .Have really bad toilet bowl effect .Holy Stone sent me another one which has the same effect . On the box that they came in were built in 2120 All 3 drones are defective. Also they all have the same batch number 720eBN B-EU-210624 If anybody out there has this same problem check out the batch number ,then you will know why it does not fly proper.
Toilet bowl effect (TBE) usually indicates that the compass needs calibration. This needs to be done any time that you fly in a new area. This is especially true with a new drone, as it's likely still using the calibration settings from China. Did you successfully complete the compass calibration with the three? As example, see the above video at 17:31
Beginner's drone? Did I say that? I usually don't recommend large brushless motor drones for beginners as they can be dangerous. But the difference of the HS720G is that in addition to electronic image stabilization (EIS), they've added a two axis stabilized gimbal for greatly improved stabilized video (vice with just EIS alone).
That is a drone built in China lol. By the same company that builds 99% of consumer grade drones. Holy stone just tells the factory what they want and the factory builds it to those specifications, and slaps a holy stone label on it.
Not safe it goes out of control after a few flights to the readers of the comments do not waste your money I wouldn't lend it to a minor because it goes sideways and backwards by itself suddenly
Now was it this drone, the HS720G? Or are you referring to the newer HS720R (with 3 axis gimbal)? If the newer HS720R, then I agree with you. The HS720R drone was initially released with a defective GPS (maybe that's why it was pawned). They seem to have corrected the problem since, but some from the initial defective batch may still be out there (such as in pawn shops).
@@Quadcopter101 it's the 720g 2axis the gps works until I start moving some days doesn't go crazy and there's drifting also when I spin on the axis with the left joystick on the spot spin right and starts drifting sideways one way spin the other way and it drift the other way but when it goes out of control it really goes fast as if I'm pressing the joystick and I have to fight the other way, i couldn't even sell it on craigslist for 100 or less because Is defective ,I open it because holystone wouldn't see it ,the gimbal has a bunch of hair thin dark copper cables,no plastic insulation like regular cables but maybe a very thin clear plastic? they should have used a ribbon instead of delicate cables (but maybe they did it on purpose so it breaks with use?) so one of the cables is cut,( the cables are short and stiff so no lag if I solder iron I would need to add a piece of cable to bridge the connection maybe that way the gimbal would work again but I can't find any electrician around here so I'm gonna do it myself

This drone is terrible folks pls do not buy as its a poor build quality and the receiver is cheep looking and feeling, mine fell out the sky over the Clyde and I bought a mini 2 and I should of done this the first time. Really annoying and the reason you didn't want to fly far was you knew its range and still told us porkies and you didn't do mutch of a range test making excuses as in battery is low you got asked to do the reveiw i suspect that's not nice sir. .
The reason that I didn't fly far away is that it's not legal to fly further than you can see it in the USA. And I expect that it's the same where ever you are flying. From what you're saying, you may have flown further than you should have with a tailwind, and didn't have enough power to return in that wind.

Good luck.
@@normanacree1635
Well the wall and the hedge was when I tried it in my back garden... the hill was in the field and it sorta lost control and stopped listening to the controller and slammed into the field
Yeah ill be looking for more open and flat fields this year
I can't get holystone-fpv to work can someone please help.
I was using the "Ophelia Fly" app available on Google Play here bit.ly/Ophelia-Fly and the Apple App Store here apple.co/3v44xGo
That's the app that wouldn't work for me are there any other apps? I tried both holystone-fpv and Ophelia fly.
Is your phone capable of using 802.11ac WiFi? 6:20
@@Quadcopter101Yes I have it working now thanks to the EXCELLENT people at holystone best costumer service I've experienced
What was the problem?
Great review as always sir. Does this have navigation lighting?
Did you move? Your prior videos were in a dry lake bed if I remember correctly.
I was excited for it, but they lost me with the 1 battery, the 2+ year old transmitter, and HORRIBLE RANGE. 😭😭😭
Tried a 1st fly today. Can't get the rotors moving. Not happy. Working now.
Very interesting and detailed review. I have a quick question - can the camera point all the way down vertically?
Yes it can!!
how’s life?. mate, epic - taek care.))
Anyone know if the remote will allow an iphone 12 pro Max to fit in the phone bracket?
It will but not with an otter box on it .
LOS? what about when it is two miles away sub 400' AGL?
People need to hear this before plinking down the $$$.
Didn't show zoom
Are you interested in selling and drones?
As example, see the above video at 17:31
Have repeatedly did the calibration many many times, still does the same thing
@@jerrycybulsky6756 If that's the case, then yes, yours seems defective.
The Holystone HS720e was supposed to be a beginners drone? So what's different about the drone? Just another beginners drone again!!
👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤
What is the point of doing a review of a 4k drone in 1080p?..... The most important feature is the video!
That is a drone built in China lol. By the same company that builds 99% of consumer grade drones. Holy stone just tells the factory what they want and the factory builds it to those specifications, and slaps a holy stone label on it.
What is a good American made drone ? For 300.00?
Turn off mobile data to activate whey-points.

Holy Stone 2 720g = 299 usd
dji mini2 = 500 usd

Mine crashed because it went crazy I contact customer service but they will not help if you don't buy overpriced on Amazon which is ridiculous because the dji is only 30 dollars more and much better so I didn't have 300 I bought mine new for 180 from a pawn shop in Texas via eBay it was sealed I'm guessing someone got it as a gift and pawn it

My family was so poor 😭
There's is no way these are recording in 4K. Even after viewing the footage straight from the memory card it looks 1080 at best. Still photos are garbage quality too.
For the love of God do not buy this if you travel... places like thailand require you to register it but you will not be able too because holy stone failed to put a serial number on their controller!
It’s almost not worth the price . As they get better with cheaper drones , dji older models fall in the price range . Hard to compete with any DJI drone . Cool vid thanks 🙏

I thought it was a Mavic 3 for a second.
