09:00 The reason that the gold you mixed with Duraluminium and a gold yellow ink has a faint greenish tone, is because Duraluminium is not a neutral grey metallic paint, but one that has some blue in it. I have decanted my Vallejo metallic paints and can see which one has which tone (easy to tell after they have separated). Steel, Duraluminium and Silver all have this blueish tone, but in Steel it gets overpowered by the black. Chrome seems to be almost completely white, but still contains a very small amount of blue.

I don't remember which video you put it in, it was one of your earliest.
I rember it was one of the very first you used oil washes. You said something like "You just wait guys, in 6 months everyone will be doing oil washes".

The initial oil layer/wipe down is very satisfyingly but the extra luminosity from cleaning the oil layer off the highlights is fantastic. Have you ever considered painting something more angular like a Battletech miniature?
