Back in the days of the 70s when my father had passed away I was just a teenager and Friends of my mom suggested that Mom and I learned how to square dance so we did. It was so much fun. Mom is now 90 and looks back fondly at all the good times we had square dancing and several different places. Love you Mom

Yes. Each state actually has an annual Square Dance Festival, and then there is a National Dance that dancers from all over come to (hosted in a different state each year). This year it's Mobile, Alabama for Nationals (June 21 - 24), and Bryan, TX for The 61st Annual Texas State Square & Round Dance Festival (Jun 15 - Jun 17th)
Omg it’s kinda similar to Brazilian’s “dança de quadrilha”… I didn’t know American countries could be this similar in terms of culture (pretty interesting)!!

My daughter is in the blue and purple dress and her friend was in the red dress. Her friend hadnt taken lessons but picked it up.
