I enjoyed "Pete & Beulah" alot!! It took me back 2 the years i worked n a nursing home where i met my deceased Veteran Husband Ben Lynch...we had some great memories while working at Knoxvilles SERENE MANOR MEDICAL CENTER. Everybody we worked with were like "family"..i loved the C.N.A. job...& i miss it everyday..and miss Ben too.

I enjoyed watching. Great fun I don't believe they are seniors. Like 65 70 yrs old...no way. I have danced all of my life and could not duplicate their dance moves. They were fantastic. For 45 to 55 yr olds...lol
I agree. Over exaggerated movements in the beginning. Her behind is over jiggly, fake. I think if you saw close ups of their faces you would see they are much younger Good dancing but putting on a show for laughs.

Nice clean entertainment where both the dancers and the audience enjoy it. Well senior people know their limitations but there seem to be plenty of steam left in them to do what they enjoy doing.
I agree with your "clean entertainment" nice to see, but you need to review your take on 'limitations of movement', because this pair is purposely dancing clumsily and for such clumsiness to spell comic entertainment it takes a lot more talent and practice time than it does to do the same moves in normal timing. They stagger their moves adding in a degree of awkwardness, which is something many professional dancers could not easily adapt. Charlie Chaplin worked long hours to perfect his awkward comedy style for the silent movie skits, only he merely flip flopped about, didn't need to choreograph dance moves.with a dance partner.
