I would take that plate and get it cut with a precision cutting saw and cut 3 to 4 inches from the inside of the frame and cut it to the 5th wheel plate that would give you some leeway for your kid pin so if you come in crooked you have room to not break that cover now for your airlines and power cord the ball is in your hand lol that’s somethin I ain’t never had to stretch or adapt so I ain’t gonna act like I know it all 😅 but nice truck brother I can’t wait to see what you do with it , And what kinda Tune your going to do with it

One thing about loves they preach customer service from the top down.I had the pleasure of meeting Tom, Jenny, and Greg love at loves university and 2 RGM conferences in OKC they seemed like great kind people, especially Jenny she would always talk with the cashiers and almost everyone on the staff when they came for quarterly meetings at the store. Tom did from time to time, but it was a great company to work for, I just wasn’t in the place in my life to put in the work it required. I grew up on this farm that I live on here in Eastern Kentucky and I am 58 yrs old, so I grew up working mules and horses and I really like them both . I still have a 2 horse wagon that my dad bought brand new, when he was a young man and he was born in 1921 on August 13 and he died on August 17 in 1997 and my dad and moms anniversary was on August 15 . He contacted Loves corporate and every thing was worked out... my dads lesson was always get your receipts for every thing !!! even if your just getting a soda water with the rewards points!!! With his receipts he was able to prove he was over 2000 miles away!!! So it was not him and had proof!! make sure all your drivers also do the same!!!

Front T bar don’t matter, take it off imo. Cut fiberglass and remove from fifth wheel back. Then box in with steel and make ramps then paint match. Put the necessary money into making it how you want it. We’ll watch! You need a Nice Cabover to match Braxs. Father and Son trucks. Also looking forwards to Ya’lls farming channel. Yep, did my "71"El Camino taking it down to bare metal, sandblasting the frame then priming it with DP-90 and then black Imron before putting 1993 Thunderbird, Royal blue poly pearl w/red pearl in the clear coat on the body w/black vinyl top and a 1in.tall black fiberglass cover for the bed, all in approximately 7 months. Oh yeah,my cousin that was the paint & body man, also helped me to build the motor that would eventually get it down the road. It was a 454 punched 60 over, making it a 468 c.i.w/dual quad tunnel ram, and that was burning a lot of midnight oil to get e'r done for an invite show at Detroit Autorama Cobo Hall. It got first place in it's class for it's first of many shows. 😎

I know for myself I was a Is Heavy duty mechanic. I really had no choice but had to retire.. At 64... I did go to work for a dairy farm.. Is only worked about 6 hours A-day... More than enough for me.. Work on tractors and equipment.. Also made some local deliveries... To stores delivering milk.. Did that for about 6 years... now fully retired..

Cut it behind the 5th wheel...do the body work to the cutoff piece...put ramps on the frame...take it to shows with a trailer on it....don't worry about the pogo stick or "catwalk" fiber glass just the back piece
In Weston's truck put power door locks power windows all operate from the driver seat that way you can roll down the windows in the back while he's driving yeah hit the button lock the doors a sunroof is it going to have a shower bathroom a refrigerator stove by the sounds of it you're making a pretty good size sleeper I seen a truck semi out here in Las Vegas it was a peterbilt black one going to the lakes that's what they call it out here real expensive homes I seen a four-door peterbilt semi truck it look nice

The new cabover….it’s a neat item, but fully illustrates the differences between a “show truck” and a “working show truck”. Full confidence you’ll have it sorted in short order…..thinking BOTH t-bars should probably be removed and the rear fiberglass cover, along with a new 5th wheel to go with the RGN ramps. The progress on Westen’s 379…..that thing was a hot mess from the go, glad to see it’s being rebuilt/modified the right way by competent individuals. Tim. The cab over is cool, but dang that W9 was my favorite, it ran good, sounded good, all it needed was a paint job, hopefully you get Rooster running soon and you can use it to do your special hauls.
Do big beautiful blue Pete like westen always says do some nice black wheels with chrome covers and lugs and do white letters on the tires. Westen loves his mud and dirt so abunch of chrome will be hard for him to keep clean especially with the Kansas dirt and his dirt roads. He needs a double stacker trailer like Cleatus has and paint it blue and black so he can haul all his hellcats and the ranger danger. Cause the motor home with the trailer just doesn’t look right for westen he needs his Pete back and a nice double stacker trailer to go with it that matches the Pete

I know for myself I was a Is Heavy duty mechanic. I really had no choice but had to retire.. At 64... I did go to work for a dairy farm.. Is only worked about 6 hours A-day... More than enough for me.. Work on tractors and equipment.. Also made some local deliveries... To stores delivering milk.. Did that for about 6 years... now fully retired..
Prayers for Uncle Ronnie i had one of those bags for 14 weeks and they reversed it. It was the most miserable 14 weeks in my life plus the recovery time involved. I would not wish that thing on anybody its a miserable situation. Thank God that mine was reversible hope everything works out for him
I like the side fairings on it. I always loved the look of a dual intake dual stack setup on the cabovers. I grew up riding in my first truck just like this, it was an old yellow with red stripe IH that came from Dahlsten trucking in Clay Center, NE

I just wouldn’t have traded that kw for that cab over. Yea it kinda looks good. But that kw would’ve looked so much better painted and done how that cab over is. Plus the Cummins in it.

He bought the new truck and hates the fenders, the t bars, the stacks, the fifth wheel, the deck plate, the hose box, how the lights are wired, how it’s tuned with no power, the transmission. 🤣 wut.

Cut it behind the 5th wheel...do the body work to the cutoff piece...put ramps on the frame...take it to shows with a trailer on it....don't worry about the pogo stick or "catwalk" fiber glass just the back piece

In Weston's truck put power door locks power windows all operate from the driver seat that way you can roll down the windows in the back while he's driving yeah hit the button lock the doors a sunroof is it going to have a shower bathroom a refrigerator stove by the sounds of it you're making a pretty good size sleeper I seen a truck semi out here in Las Vegas it was a peterbilt black one going to the lakes that's what they call it out here real expensive homes I seen a four-door peterbilt semi truck it look nice

The new cabover….it’s a neat item, but fully illustrates the differences between a “show truck” and a “working show truck”. Full confidence you’ll have it sorted in short order…..thinking BOTH t-bars should probably be removed and the rear fiberglass cover, along with a new 5th wheel to go with the RGN ramps.
The progress on Westen’s 379…..that thing was a hot mess from the go, glad to see it’s being rebuilt/modified the right way by competent individuals. All the best to your uncle Ronnie in his recovery…..

Tim. The cab over is cool, but dang that W9 was my favorite, it ran good, sounded good, all it needed was a paint job, hopefully you get Rooster running soon and you can use it to do your special hauls.

Do big beautiful blue Pete like westen always says do some nice black wheels with chrome covers and lugs and do white letters on the tires. Westen loves his mud and dirt so abunch of chrome will be hard for him to keep clean especially with the Kansas dirt and his dirt roads. He needs a double stacker trailer like Cleatus has and paint it blue and black so he can haul all his hellcats and the ranger danger. Cause the motor home with the trailer just doesn’t look right for westen he needs his Pete back and a nice double stacker trailer to go with it that matches the Pete
Call your friends over at semi casual and see what kind of ideas they have maybe between the ideas they have and the ideas you have you will come up with something awesome
