Nice overview. If you use maps in Car Play, does that show in the instrument cluster / HUD, for example like in the X7? Or will only the native Lexis navigation show in the instrument cluster (& HUD?) Thanks so much.
Hi! Excellent video! One question, how do I select a split screen for navigation and music? I like to see my map and music at the same time while driving. Thanks 😊
Thank you! I don't believe this one supports a split screen. Your best bet might be to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and have the split screen setup on your home screen. Good luck!
What does the Total Time on the dashboard under Drive Info do? it was 54:34 showing on my car, but today is was automatically reset to 00:00 and starting calculating again. I wonder how I trigger the reset
I am having trouble with Apple Car play in my 2024 NX 350H . My I phone Pro is not totally compatable. I can not use Siri for texting consistently,.Very disappointing!
It seems really good at first and over several months you realize how bad it is. This system is over 2 years old now with only a few bug fixes and nothing else. Complete fail by Lexus.
@@DailyMotor Just a few things: No split screen capability, switching screens from nav and going back forgets your zoom settings, no voice search of USB key songs, system will change volumes occasionally, radio doesn't mute when carplay talks, no longer shows mpg since last fill like Lexus had for years, no route tracing in nav, no ability to do N always up in nav, warnings so fleeting you don't know why the car beeped 7 times (back seat warning does this), can't scroll through mpg, song, g meter, boost displays while using cruise control, no easy way to add favorites to nav, and so on. Most of these things the last gen system could do.
@@jeffn1646 Have you addressed some of those concerns with the dealer you bought it off. Perhaps the dealer can find some work arounds for you. Anyway the infotainment screen is a million times better than my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. Cheers.
@@johnmartin7158 There is not. Lexus made those choices in the new software. Their engineers told a UA-cam site they purposely did not do split screen because they wanted you to use voice commands. Huh?
@@johnmartin7158 The dealer can't fix the short comings Lexus designed into the system. Beautiful screen, gorgeous. Everything else is worse than the last gen system.
All the R&D for the new infotainment spend yet it’s still not as good as its rivals 😂. What a waste of money on their part😂 The big screen doesn’t make any difference
It would be great if you could also start to include the autosteering features in your reviews!

Hi, please do an audio review for all the new Lexus models - RX, TX and GX. Thank you!

Does the TX Support wired apple car play? I can't find it. TIA!

It's so bad compared to the properly integrated touch pad one. People bitched enough and caved, same as my mom's 2024 rav4.

How come they spend more money but they lost so much they had to put subscriptions in the system to recover their losses lmao
