Since GX was released, I've been watching multiple videos; 1 or 2 videos per week. My far, this video is the best tutorial. Great job to the video editor also 👏
Yay! Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it. This was my first time to have help with the filming. Usually I am filming my self on my phone and doing all the editing. This time, I was very lucky to have help filming and to be able to lock down our demo GX in our delivery area at our Westside Lexus location the day after it arrived. We filmed for three hours and I edited for two and half days to knock it out. I know it could be tricky to get a Deep Dive done, so hopefully this will help for now :) Thanks very much for your support!

Thank you for this video. I'm coming from a 2015 Camry (that served me well) to a GX 550. I was learning the settings as I go, but this by far helped me out so much more. My Camry didn't have this technology and I am clueless.

I'm long over due on RZ though, because it took a long time for to even get one in our area. Very informative, thank you... will the dealership lift the overtrail+ up a few inches for buyers?
Hi! Sorry for the delay. I had to do some checking on this. From what I found, the dealerships are not lifting GXs. Overtrail and Overtrail+ come with the CRAWL feature and eKDSS. Those allow for more agility and articulation of the wheels and suspension, but we don't have a lift kit from Lexus and I wasn't able to find an approved kit after market. But it is still early days, I'm sure there will be more accessories available as the GX is on the road longer. It might not be from Lexus, so keep your eye on the overlanding forums :)

As long as the video is about a car that doesn't have the new Lexus Interface multimedia system, then it should work :)
You should have information on the climate control in the back on OVERTRAIL, that doesn’t have the a/c controls for second row !! PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
Hi. Unfortunately, I did not have access to an OVERTRAIL at the time of filming and since this is just an intro video, it was not possible to cover everything like I do in a deep dive tutorial. Since the OVERTRAIL build is geared for off-roading and does not have a 3rd row, the rear climate controls are not independently controlled. All of the climate control is set from the front. If you are looking for a GX with Rear Climate Controls, make sure to look at a GX that is not an OVERTRAIL and that is equipped with the rear cabin climate option. Thanks for being here.
Does the panoramic sunroof open or lift? My dealer had no clue but told me the crossbars aren’t available as an add on to the Luxury+ so he assumed it was because they would interfere with the opening of the glass. I saw one owner on UA-cam seem to imply it doesn’t move at all. Any help??

Hi! I'm sorry they weren't able to answer that for you. The Panorama Glass Roof on the GX is fixed in place and does not open. The manual calls it a "panoramic fixed moon roof." When you look at the buttons for the roof you will see Open & Close buttons on the left, but that is for the power opening and closing fabric shade. And you will see the Dynamic Sky button on the right. Dynamic Sky was first introduced on the RZe (also with a fixed pano glass roof). It allows the glass to be clear or opaque. I hope this helps. So does that mean the cross bars can be added to the Luxury+?
@@orlandomitek3866 I don't seem to have access to that information. I know the GX has a lot of new available accessories that your Lexus Parts Department will need to look at to see what is compatible based on the VIN.
I checked with some of my contacts at another store and they are getting some GX550 Luxury+ in with the Roof Rail Cross Bars installed from the factory. 👍 So it is definitely possible. It's possibly they are ordered differently in your area. Definitely ask them to look into it more for you.
Do you have any info on if there will be a 2025 IS500?

Got my Luxury+ in Incognito over the weekend and love it but my seats aren’t calibrated. I tried your instructions from 2022 and it didn’t work. Is there a chance I’m doing something else wrong?
Hi! I'm so sorry about the seats. The steps are still the same, but you may want to do every single position and hold it counting to 5 slowly. And make sure you get every adjustment. Especially if you have a seat cushion extender. Then make sure your profile is active on the car and then resave your Driver Position Memory. Hopefully that will solve it for you. My ES300H’s trunk cannot close front inside by driver. Wonder if that’s normal.

@@moflexmusicinc.6060 Unfortunately Advanced Park requires additional hardware and software. It will be interesting to see if they add it to the GX in the future. It is not currently on either of the body-on-frame constructed Lexus models. It's possible that the electrical platform is not compatible with the feature. I'm not sure. Lexus needs to move away from the Darth Vader grill.
It is now a Darth Vader body. The upper lines continue on the hood ridges. Looks very functional.
I think this grille is actually more subtle than some of the earlier spindle grille designs. But people either love it or hate it. Definitely leave that feedback on the Lexus channel so they can hear from you. Thanks for tuning in.

@@NorthsideLexus I saw my first one on the road today. Definitely a head turner. Given the size of the vehicle, the grill is not as prominent as it has been on past vehicles.
