- Abandoned Buildings No One Wants To Buy For Any Price. It's the dream of many, owning your home. Probably the biggest and most important purchase in your life but they don't come cheap. It takes years of saving for the deposit which for many is a hard goal to achieve.
however there are properties around the world that could be yours for an incredibly low price, but they come with a catch, a catch that so far has made any potential buyers that have shown interest simply turn around and walk away! Mostly because they are huge restoration projects.
These amazing places range from an old abandoned cinema to ghost towns and houses.

Avery Summers you can come to my wedding

(Reads title) "Perhaps they're haunted?"
(Watches video) "Oh...just real estate..."
Half the houses in Detroit you can buy from between $1 and $8000. The catch? They're in Detroit.
@THE DAILY ODD lol haha aha a hahaha
Amber Maynard Detroit was the wealthiest city in America in 1960 m.mic.com/articles/amp/45563/detroit-bankrupt-to-see-detroit-s-decline-look-at-40-years-of-federal-policy
If you vote for Democrats, they will give you exactly what you are voting for.
chicago is not far behind.
That’s really not the catch. The catch is the amount of money you’re gonna need to put into it, just to get up to inspection, let alone to pass one.
Amazing how a "certain demographic" can destroy a town/city/country!
I would buy the one in Italy as a retirement house.
I'll buy one of the cheap islands from your other video, then move the $10 house there.
These type of videos are my fave to watch. So interesting and a bit creepy too.
*LET'S TAKE THE FIRST HOUSE AND PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!*
Isn't that what happened in Robin Hood men in tights?
I think hes referencing the spongebob episode when Patrick suggested pushing the town of bikini bottom somewhere else
For the costs you can buy a wonderful house everywhere you want. 😀
Wait can I buy the entire Italian town? My friend destroyed my village in my minecraft server so I gotta find them a place
Saint Andrew Wow first
🤣😅🤣
'As it stands, half of it has been demolished'. Not the best wording ever.
You kidding? That's the most hilarious for it!😂
I regularly pass by the Liverpool cinema in toxteth. Never thought it was closed for 6 decades
i would buy some of them
Nice!!
As long as the plumbing and electric is up to date & the necessities are good I’d take it. I’m living in a place that shouldn’t have anyone living in it. I don’t have much money for anywhere else.
And here I thought they had some scary history behind them! BLEH! No wonder that no one wants to buy them!
Clementine Noel basically they’re damaged houses lol
We have that happen here in KC, Mo. Problem is you have to pay the taxes that weren't paid.
There you go! That is the problem!
Did i just hear opportunity to own a vacation home in Italy and I don't have to be around people and it's cheap and the government would help pay for repairs?
I'd buy the town and turn it into the world's biggest truck stop!
wow home sweet home ! yet i wish i could make up my mind just which dream home i wish to buy !! but well i guess thats life decisions decisions decisions !!!
That $1 thing in Italy- no one buys them because 1) you have to have enough money to do all repairs which can cost a lot since rooves usually have to be done. 2) because often when there's a buyer the Italian relatives need to be consulted to see if they will let go of the property and one woman said she waited and waited and they never got back to her- and TWO YEARS LATER they contacted her & said the family agrees...by then the woman said "I'm OVER it".......and 3) (not sure) but I think you can't change anything- it has to be kept the same. People have their own ideas...bigger windows put in, french doors or whatever.
If I was younger I would buy the UK house. Would they give the buyer citizenship? Retired, don't need to work. Just be!! I think I would open up a dog rescue there. The more the merrier!! Local volunteers and student workers - could be good for the community and me in my 'golden years' as would be the dogs taken in. Hmmmm a plan....
laDyLsA CANADA the land it sits on probably worth 2 million and the building is listed so can’t knock it down and build fresh The only thing you can do is to fix it up to government specs loads of money or buy it to watch it rot and hope it falls down as for citizenship just float over here and you get that given to you
Man if I was rich I'd totally buy Swett! I mean you can make it all pretty again and then you decide who lives in YOUR town ! I mean how great is that
Would love to have rhat 1st. house. Wow!
for number 1, they should organize a eco group to live there. in all honesty i know of alot of groups of people that would be glad to come there and restore the city to its beauty living off the land. biggest problem is probably distance, supplies to get started etc medical care in specific.
"In addition to refurbishing your new, “dollar” home, you must also commit to being a permanent resident, rent a house in the town and earn more than €7,500 (just over $9,300 USD) per year."
Seems not hard to attain?
Those little Italian places look REALLY nice. I'd move there as long as I could get Wifi.
Nobody:
Cilck Bait UA-camrs: Mansion for $10
That Island off the coast of Tasmania would be perfect for me BUT unfortunately my missus isn't the major outdoorsy type and doesn't handle isolated living too well. Damn that place would be so peaceful.
I want the anthrax island. Keep it in the family for a couple hundred years and it might be worth something
Heck, I might buy that place in Italy and turn it into an AirBnb. Nothing but profit. Us millennials are totally into that off the grid stuff.
Homeless people could restore them for food and shelter. Problem solved.
The cinema could be turned into a homeless shelter.
It already is lol
@@Tomas-ml9nv Well it could be officially made into one and renovated to be decent living space. Such as getting rid of black mold and asbestos.
Cinema’s in England often have restrictive covenants on the title which prevents change and of use
I used to live in Exeter
Resume:
Mayor of Town
Also, it's like a mini-map for a bunch of games you can play.
Wow, I was expecting murder houses, "haunted houses", and other bullocks reasons, but the ones here are pretty legit.
Whats the catch ????? I want it
Sardinia is a GORGEOUS place in the Mediterranean. Whoever doesn't want to live there is insane. White sand beaches, best wine, best meat... ughhhh I think I'll have to move back.
Why'd you leave in the first place, if you don't mind me asking?
Wow! epic vid
The italian village houses aren't exactly houses like we know them and the €1 price tag comes with an agreement to invest €15,000 minimum and judging by the fact that some of them literally need rebuilding and earthquakes aren't shy it makes the deal less and less appealing
I got a real estate ad for Coldwell Banker
At 3:18 surely you can change it from the inside as it does not affect the outside at all
Own an entire town
All those houses in the #1 place.
Me: it’s free real estate
When I grow up I want to be like you
could work as a co op maybe
I like his accent ❤️
Cool channel
Buy the $10 NJ house and strip it for salvage.
All the cabinetry, mill work and trim is old school crafted.
But after that?
We are not told if this 1906 dwelling has been updated or not.
I would imagine it has been, from some of the photos.
Can you imagine though, what it would take to bring a 112 year old house up to code?
Or trying to move a 2 story, 4000 sq ft house?
And screw paying $10 for the domicile.
Let the owner give me that $10k to take it down and salvage it.
All profit.
Who tf wouldn't wanna buy a those Italian homes and sell them as newly renovated, quiet, country-side Italian cottages for $500,000?
the oldwhitehall house will be perfect for Airsoft wars
Yea right
I'd buy the town.
The most common fact I get out of these videos is GOVERNMENT causes thousands, perhaps millions of properties to become abandoned and the structures to end up in ruins. I say GOVERNMENT needs to be abandoned and fall into ruins.
Where are they? Ill buy them
Why should I buy a house for next to nothing if I'd then first needed to restaure it?
Is it just me or does WOWsoAmaze sound like the gaming lemon?
I would buy them
We're are these mansions I want one
I want one but with the whole plot and no restrictions !!!
Ultimate would be in the centre of the NETHERLANDS.
These buildings are better to be demolished.
2:55 buy it and make it a weed lab
I want the mansion
The Town in Italy is perfect for refugees. Many work to do, they can rebuilt the Houses, it´s safe there and the nature/forrest looks beautiful.
It can cost 100.000 dollars to move a home from A to B or much more depending on distance
I could afford all of these!
Are any of these places still available?
is there any house to buy at 1 euro without a catch ??
TIL im moving to italy to become a real estate magnate
I want the $10 mansion
I know exactly where to move it, but I can't seem to find the listing anywhere
Can anyone please help? I'm serious, I want it
buy the first one for the furniture
How much to buy thier land?
Who is leasing it right now the property first?
I thought the house in northumberland was protected....... so how could it be demolished?
Another reason why I wouldn’t buy the Dartmoor water centre? That’s where the Dartmoor murders were so screw that☹️
This 6 bedroom mansion house in New Jersey can be yours for just $10...... the catch?.... it's in New Jersey.
why nobody makes the cinema a building for multiple owners, each section as its own developement?
In this economy. It’s worth the risk.
Well thanks now I know where to squat when I’m homeless
I wouldn't be opposed to buying a Sardinian house for 1 dollar and having it as a holiday house.
Buy the land around the house
I want the swett
I'll dismantle it and salvage everything
How do you build a house on land you don’t own?
The owner owns the house and property he wants to tear the house down but it is protected as a historical sight because it was built by a famous architect, so he found a loophole if he can just have somebody move the house he can still get rid of it and keep the property
The Netherlands started a tv serie where people buy the italian 1 dollar houses and renovate them. it is namend "het italiaanse dorp: Ollolai".
is there an english dubbed version ?
@@aes-256e i don't know
Number 1 cuz I’m part Italian cuz I’m Australian but I got my Italian genes from my Mum
Who asked lol
Its complicated!?!
Its free real estate
This is too good to be true it probably is!?
This just proves, NOTHING IS EVER WHAT IT SEEMS, !
It is just too good to be true! You should know!
That town in Italy would be a great place to live after going through a bad divorce.
Me at beginning of video: I'll live anywhere if it was cheap!
*Video mentions South Dakota
Me: NVM I'll pass
Physically impossible to transport that first house.....
Kayla Harkey even when things are taken apart and moved its way too expensive to move
Yes Danielle I agree. It's not a mobile home lol what are the sellers thinking ?!?!?
@@kaylaharkey1076 in Canada people move homes (literally) all the time, even mansions, it is expensive to move it but it is possible
@@how2not358 In northern Sweden they move a whole town. Because the big mining company will expand
There Are A Place In England Norwich Call The 1 Dollar House.
I want this mansion 10$
Like the cuphead cash sound
What if I could buy off their property hum!?
Next video idea, cities that no one wants to buy for any price.
#1. Detroit
Please name other cities in the comments that deserve to be on this list
I live in SD😂
Is the catch that you remove it off the property???? Hmmmm....
sure il buy it for $10 my friend lol
I'll move it
If this is true I'll buy one idgaf
why dont owner of the property buy the house for 10$
the owner does own the house and the property around it, but he just wants the property and not the house thats why he is selling it
I'd buy it. The owner would need to pay to have it moved.
It cost way to much to move it
king zero definitely too much to move
knock it down and sell the bricks and stuff
