I just bought the Ad400Pro im not having recharging issues tho, I still havent even used my flash yet as well. One thing i noticed though when you plug the thing into the battery is that theres allot of sparks flying out ! dang. It feels like any other cheap chinese product...
If you guys have this issue and have an extra battery you can “jump start” it to get it charging again. I had the same problem and now it charges. Never leave the battery plugged in or dead. ***RESOLVED***
I have the AD400 Pro, only used it once for 30 minutes, 5 months later, I had the same issue when I needed to use it. Battery was deffective. Same issue as you. I went to the store i bought it from and they gave me a different new one that was working. I charged it a 3 times to make sure it was in working order and all was good, until 2 months later THE SAME GOD DDAMN issue. FUCK THIS BRAND. Never ever buying a Godox product ever. Had the chance to use it twice and those were just for testing it but when it actually came for me to use it the batteries were always dead.
Can I ask a question. My Godox WB400P battery appears to charge but when fitted to the AD400 I press the Power Button, spin the wheel to activate and I get a screen for a millisecond and it powers off again. If I hold down the SET button while spinning the wheel it runs through a short test which seems to complete ok. Is my AD400 knackered or is it the battery. Don't want to buy a new battery @ £145 if it's not the issue. Anyone got any ideas?

G'd UP Photo battery is in deep sleep, remove rear cover and jumper two plated eyelets on left hand side with a paper clip for a couple of seconds, resets the battery, now plug it back in and it should charge

Same here with the sparks. Make sure charger is not powered when connecting to the battery.

how do you know the battery fully charged? is that battery indicator on your charger turn to green completely ?
I used mine for about 3 times then it quit charging. They charge too much for it yet they quit working so fast.

its the charger not the battery
Same thing happened to me, have had this for 8 months or so, used it a handful of times. maybe 5 times, and now the battery is not charging at all.
Remove battery back panal and reset battery work 100%
