The Acq Inc stories themselves are intended to take place in the Forgotten Realms. In fact, Omin Dran is a Masked Lord of Waterdeep. That said, technically I don't think Ravnica was an official setting prior to being released a few years ago for 5e. So it's the newest since Ravnica.

Lets not forget that the current default setting started out the same way. Ed Greenwood initially created the Forgotten Realms before D&D existed, and was running his own games in the setting for at least 8 years before TSR picked it up and published an official D&D book there.

If it’s not in the book, Matt has released the class info online unearthed arcana style. So if you’re interested, it’s out there. Just look it up and you should be able to find where he posted it.
The Cobalt Soul monk is on page 104 in the _Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting_ book. Although I think he's changed it a little since that book was published. There's also the Blood Domain for clerics, Path of the Juggernaut for barbarians and the Runechild for sorcerers.
The Cobalt Soul is previously covered in the Tal’Dorei guide, along with the Beau’s subclass (which I think has had some updates you can find online). There’s probably a lot of new information about the Cobalt Soul in this book, but no subclass.

One of the most inspired decisions Mercer made with his setting - IMHO of course - is deciding that the Drow are in the process of getting kicked out of the Underdark (and abandoning the worship of Lolth) due to being overwhelmed by various Aberrant creatures. Totally stolen this for my own homebrewed setting. Currently the PCs are sitting across an underground lake from a Drow city wondering why the inhabitants of said city have become amphibious ...

I love what I'm hearing, as a DM and as a player. The starting adventures in each of the major areas sound like great ways to start a new game. Plus new stuff unique to the setting that DMs can transplant into their own games.

Someone else said it better than I can. But this is so exciting because Exandria is the DnD world that I feel the most connected to. Its the world that drew me in and made me love Dungeons and Dragons. Everyone has their realm they prefer, Greyhawk Ebberon ect. And I am just beyond thankful to be able to have something like this. Be able to play in the world I love so much. Its something special. I've preordered and cant wait to DM for the first time and have wonderful adventures.

Ruben Pianegonda - I don't think it will, largely because I don't think it meets WotC's design standards. If Matt rebuilt it as a subclass, I think it has legs, but as a class beyond the base 12 (13), I don't see that happening. They've been doing more magical subclasses on the martial classes tho, like the new chaos magic Barbarian, the psionic and Rune Smith fighters, and the psionic and returned (spooky) rogue. So maybe there's room for some blood hunter stuff on there.
It's so rare that a creative genius like Matt gets to reach so many people and allow us to participate in his universe. I'm definitely going to get this book just to read!
Alright, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get this but I’m pretty sold on the idea this seems like it may be the most fleshed out setting book for 5e that they’ve put out.
One of the things I love about Critical Role and Matter Mercer specifically as DM, is how much love and time have gone into the game and the world building. Like you can tell he really cares about this and it's fun to see and I'm excited to get together with some of my friends and adventure in Wildemount with this guide now!
Honestly the biggest thing I'm hyped for it the echo knight! I really want to play a class or subclass that using Dunamancy for martial combat. Caleb uses it in a cool way, but I need orcs to taste my blade as they are crushed in the vacuum or space!!!
I know not everyone is happy about this book that they wanted a planescape or dark sun book but this something new and helps expand D&D with new ideas and concepts so I'm sure with some time people will come to enjoy it.
Honestly Matt is just a creative and precious treasure and must be protected at all costs, im so thrilled for him to have a dream come true after the wonderful gifts hes given us fans and the endless love, encouragement and positivity he has poured into the community. Of course the cast and crew deserve so much love as well but Matt is the priceless gem at the centre.
I've only started watching CR this year (OK, technically I started on NYE), and I've absolutely fallen in love with this group and the stories they tell. So glad to see this and so happy for Matt.
I do think, with the flavor of UA we've been getting, something in that vein might be on the horizon for the fall release. Much as I hoped for it this time round, I know an early-March publication is really too quick to have finalized versions ready to go.

Matt is a huge inspiration for me, he is a wonderful human being. I like to write and in the future i want to be a writer, i have major obstacles to surpass but people like Matthew inspire me to continue the journey. And sorry for any errors in the text, I'm still learning English.
Matt is so humble. He's has brought so much imagination to story telling that I don't think he's really aware of it's effects. I hope he's happy and healthy and keeps giving us that sweet imagination juice.

My DM included Vestiges of the Divergence in our Tiamat campaign before it was official content now. My Elf Ranger/Rogue has Fenthras Wrath of the Fey Warden (longbow), Whisper (dagger), Cabal's Ruin (cloak), & Condemner (heavy crossbow) all Exalted from our 1.5 year playthrough of Tyranny of Dragons. Other DM's groups have let me use them because they obviously love Critical Role, but are still shocked at how powerful these artifacts are when combined w/ class abilities & feats.
I just found myself playing an episode of Critical Role at the same time that I started watching this... and hearing Matt's voice in two places at once is sort of perplexing. It feels like he's speaking to me. 🥺
This is going to be great, I can't wait to start some campaigns with this material. Many thanks to Matt, Wizards, and all involved! Thanks to D&D Beyond for sharing such amazing content.

I hope if it is it goes through major revision. The reason I disallow it is that the Blood Hunter is low quality homebrew.

My buddy who plays in my Campaign mentioned a new book and I thought it was wizards doing something that reminded me something about wildemount and now we are getting this! Yes Matt Yes!

I’ve been with the show since campaign 1 when the sound was tinny and the production “ok”, so its amazing to see this come to fruition.

Matt is a huge inspiration for me, he is a wonderful human being. I like to write and in the future i want to be a writer, i have major obstacles to surpass but people like Matthew inspire me to continue the journey.

I like that Matt is behind the DM screen, it makes it feel like these people just came in and sat down and did the interview unexpectedly. Haha
Matt is so humble. He's has brought so much imagination to story telling that I don't think he's really aware of it's effects. I hope he's happy and healthy and keeps giving us that sweet imagination juice.

I am really excited for this. Just sorting my first D&D campaign to DM (inspired to do so by CR) and I can't wait to implement some of Mercers creations. Great job guys!
My DM included Vestiges of the Divergence in our Tiamat campaign before it was official content now. My Elf Ranger/Rogue has Fenthras Wrath of the Fey Warden (longbow), Whisper (dagger), Cabal's Ruin (cloak), & Condemner (heavy crossbow) all Exalted from our 1.5 year playthrough of Tyranny of Dragons.
Other DM's groups have let me use them because they obviously love Critical Role, but are still shocked at how powerful these artifacts are when combined w/ class abilities & feats.

I just found myself playing an episode of Critical Role at the same time that I started watching this... and hearing Matt's voice in two places at once is sort of perplexing. It feels like he's speaking to me. 🥺
