Question...why would you not waterproof out from the shower at least 3' from floors to wall with a curb less shower. I know typical water intrusion wouldn't happen, but for flood reasons I would think it should be.

If you were doing waterproof boards on the floor would you start with the shower first?

What type of drain did you use that allowed you the flexibility to move it so that it wasn’t perfectly entered over the drain? That’s a great feature.

Porcelain for sure 👍 2x2s or bigger
