I have got a 2004 ram 1500 with a 5.7 that I am about to pull out to put in my 86 w150 but I have the flashing lightning bolt or throttlebody warning, light flashing on my dash putting it into limp mode but cannot figure out why have already replaced throttlebody and correlating sensors do you have any ideas what my problem could be
Check brake switch wires and throttle wires
All of those are fine so I am still confused but do you think there is any way the PCM could have taken a dump. And another question even though this is a 04 truck it does not have a separate TCM would the motor run ok if I just unplug the trans so I can use my 727 or do I need to get it sent out to get flashed
Yes it will run fine with a 727 behind it
