CTS-V Muffler Delete - The LS2 Learns to Exhale

We went full race car with this mod, long tube headers through the stock resonator with (essentially) muffler deletes. Those little Cherry Bombs don't do a whole lot of muffling.

I wanna do this but is there a longer cherry bomb so I can chop the stock muffler and fit the cherry bomb without extra piping? My exhaust sounds like a clothes dryer now. Way too quiet.

Yes there definitely is a longer cherry bomb, but I’ll be honest it didn’t do much muffling. Maybe a longer one would be better.

If I remove the catalytic converters to my cadlac cts 2007 v6 will it cause any damage to the car? performance or will it start smoking?

No it won’t hurt anything but it also won’t make much difference in performance
