    Wonderful 15 minute overview of an interesting journey. Just the right length. No ego trip with faces, commentary or heavy music - sub-titles could have told a little more - but all very calming and informative. Well done. I'll be back!!

    Zurich HBF is one of the best....esp now the construction is done glad i found your channel, a viewer from the Rocky Mountains of Montana...put the Amtrak Empire Builder on your list of trains and fingers crossed the possible restart of the North Coast Limited on amtraks expansion, come see Montana....think you two would enjoy

      Thanks for your kind words! Zurich HBF really is impressive. I'm glad you found our channel. I've seen some videos of the Amtrak Empire Builder, and it’s definitely on our list. This year we're already quite busy, so hopefully, we can plan it in the future 🙏. Montana looks stunning! Thanks for the recommendation, and we hope to visit someday!

    It always confuse me that the ICE from the Nederlandse Spoorwegen didn‘t get the ‚typical‘ yellow/blue painting 😉 Anyway: Thx for sharing 👍

      I agree, it would be quite a sight to see the ICE train in the yellow and blue colors speeding along at 300 kilometers per hour! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 😊

    The next time for travel use the EC7 or EC9 via Köln. Use from Amsterdam to cologne the ICE3M, the NS have this train too. And than the EC7 or EC9 from cologne. Then you can sitt in the "Der Panoramawagen der SBB". But look, not all Trains have this special wagon. You travel via Bonn next to the rhein to Basel SBB.
    The aircondition works in the SBB trains every time! The DB has a lot of problems with the aircondition ;-)

    • @LetsgowithD
      @LetsgowithD  6 місяців тому

      Thanks for the suggestion! I had no idea about the panoramawagen der SBB - sounds fantastic. I'll check out the EC7 or EC9 via Köln next time. Traveling through Bonn by the Rhine to Basel SBB sounds amazing. And thanks for the tip about the air conditioning.
      I found the train info on the DB app. It’s very useful for this. Thanks again!

    Leuke video, goed gedaan👍. Klopt toch dat deze directe route is opgeheven?🇳🇱🇪🇺🚴‍♀️🚂

    • @LetsgowithD
      @LetsgowithD  5 місяців тому

      Hi dank je wel voor de compliment😊 Ik weet niet of deze route is opgeheven. Je bedoeld van Amsterdam naar Chur? Er is geen directe verbinding vanaf Amsterdam. Je kan Amsterdam naar Basel. En vanaf Basel direct door naar Chur als dit is wat je bedoelde😊

    • @paulthiel5145
      @paulthiel5145 4 місяці тому +1

      Amsterdam-Basel direct via ICE is inderdaad opgeheven. De ICE rijdt nu niet verder dan Frankfurt Hbf.

    • @LetsgowithD
      @LetsgowithD  4 місяці тому

      @paulthiel5145 Bedankt voor de info! Ik zie dat er nu meer overstappen nodig zijn dat de reistijd langer is. Weet je of dit door werkzaamheden komt of is er een andere reden?

    9:15 Conventional coal or gas burning power stations have the such cooling towers as well.

      @LetsgowithD  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you for your comment! That’s an interesting point and I didn’t know that. Maybe it is not a nuclear plant but a coal or gas burning power station. Thanks for watching and clarifying! 😊

    What you saw in Basel actually is a nuclear power plant. On the train to Chur what you saw, the guys cleaning the tracks, is most likely because someone commited suicide.

    • @LetsgowithD
      @LetsgowithD  5 місяців тому

      Thank you for clarifying. That was my first thought about the nuclear power plant too. As for the cleaning, someone mentioned it might have been due to a birth or someone getting sick. Let's hope it was nothing more serious. 🙏
