It's all the little projects that consume an inordinate amount of time. All new hoses also give you peace of mind regarding ruptures. It's slowly all coming together, going to be awesome to see you out on the water.
Ya'll are one more step closer to the water 💧. I can see 👀 the light getting brighter at the end of the tunnel. So keep up the good work. Splash day is coming. Ok until next time ⏲️, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Aloha and cheers 🍻
I am looking forward to seeing that FANTASTIC looking, sailing and functioning boat when you get it in the water this year and get back to sailing!!! You guys do great work. I subscribed about the time you hauled out that leaking boat and have watched all that you have put on here and have enjoyed every minute. I look forward to every Friday when you gift uu with a new episode. Congrats for all that you have accomplished up to now.
LOL, this is exactly what happened to me on the VdS34. I decided to change the nav lights so changing the wiring right?, so tracing the wire dismantling partitions I stumbled on the water tanks and some hoses: Disaster, so replace water tanks by one food grade tank right? But now, I am not going to attach old moldy hoses that might not be food grade to that beautiful tank, right? And that is where I am at. . In another matter I am a casualty of the Mosquito Creek Marina and I have no more moorage for my boat if you know (or anyone knows) of moorage for a 34ft sailboat 65'8" draft (even temporary) please please let me know. As for your "challenge", the yellow tubing is also on my boast and can make nice conduits for wiring... You mean you will not put fancy colour coded PEX type? I priced that for my rebuild and the pacemaker skipped a beat. (and I do not have a pacemaker). L. - Are you screwing your clamps into the hull isolation??? It is all going to be worthwhile: First magical anchorage at sunset? All forgotten, well maybe the second one. Yeah for a new great video, Thank you!
Damn that mosquito creek situation has got so many people! I’m not sure about moorage. Have you tried everywhere in Nanaimo and Victoria? One of the next projects on the list is all the wiring, so that’s gonna be another fun one 😂😂
If u wanna a) source that on our little island, and then b) pay for that, we can do it again 😂 we are pretty short on options around here at this point.
have you thought about hydraulic (pressurised water) bow thrusters or are you just trying to eat one elephant a time and nice to haves will come later - best wishes - good times are coming out cruising

Yeah it def feels good to know we have new stuff in there! Can’t wait to be using those taps again!
You guys are getting closer!👏
We are!! 😍

Thanks so much for watching! The morale can get pretty low at this stage in the game, but comments like this definitely help 😌 so thank you!
Another job done so getting closer
Yay!!
The money sucks, but to have that peace of mind of "this is new, this is run properly, this is reliable" is priceless.
Truth 🤘
Ordinary house PEX plastic tubing and relevant fittings can be used for potable water, no point of overpaying for "marine grade"
Other folks doing refurbishments of their boats in other parts of the world (eg, West Indies, The Med) have reported huge price increases.
Yeah it seems to be a worldwide thing. Def makes it hard to get stuff done though 😞
Okay - gross stuff bad.
Do you need to run X gallons through initially to reduce new tube taste or is that not a problem? -Mark
Honestly not sure. I think we will, but haven’t seen or read anything about what the best practices are on that one
Oh no , looks like someone needs to call 911 !!!!! are you ok ? lol
😂😂😂😂

You should have changed all of the lines to PEX A a far superior product to that nylon you used !

Our bow thruster works really well as it for our application. We just need a better battery for it 😂
😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍
