Wow!!! I can't even imagine the fricking stress that you guys have gone through!!! The fact that you guys are waiting for your first anchorage totally stresses me out 😮 But being your # one Fan I will be there and the first BBQ and adult refreshments are on me!!❤ From a old dude from Pender Harbour 😎👍☮️
Engineering and Construction is an emotionless job. When you start refitting a boat you're going to find a lot of hidden things that need to be replaced. That's the nature of having a boat

Absolutely amazing what you guys have been through and accomplished. You have a much better boat for it and must be incredibly proud. Congratulations!! Can't wait to see her in the yard - looks like Stones!
I can hardly believe what I just watched!!! WHAT!?! FIIIIIIIIINALLYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!!!! So happy for you guys! Nearly there!!!!!
And when you hit the water and your sails fill with the wind. And the Boat 🚢 starts to move, all the hard work, the Blood the Sweat and tears will just be a memory. And at the end of the day your face will hurt because you have ben smiling all day. I can't wait for next week's video. Thank you for a Great video this week. All though I hate cliff hangers. What is one more week. Lol Ok until next time ⏲️, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Cheers 🍻
‘Tinning’ also prepares to cable for soldering. Even if you are fitting crimped terminals to the cable, it is still best practice to solder the cable into a solid mass where the crimped fitting will be.
I am so pleased that you have finally reached to point of taking your boat to the boatyard. There may be things which still need to be done, but I’m sure that they can be done while you are afloat. Hooray!!
I am so incredibly happy for you two. You've accomplished an amazing feat and you're about to be back into living the reason you bought a boat in the first place. Congratulations, I can't wait to see the rest of your victory.
I found your channel recently and was stuck watching all the refit videos for a few days. You did a fantastic job not only building but also documenting and storytelling. I am genuinely surprised that it has so few subscriptions and views compared to other sailing/rebuild channels. See you on the water this summer.
Right On! Back in the water! I remember a glass boat you were just getting fixed up and then.... BOOM getting a new boat. Don't follow in my foot steps I've done that SO many times. and now getting to old for such a big boat. EVERY boat made needs work. Just enjoy what you have!!!
Omg. I'm so happy and excited for you. We are hauling our boat out on July 3 at the marina where you took your boat out last time. Then off cruising for 3 months. Hopefully, we will see you around an Anchorage.
“We have something to announce” usually precedes the statement: we’re pregnant! Dunno, I wouldn’t be surprised, two good looking talented risk takers taking that on. But congratulations on getting the boat launch date.
The number of steel sailboats compared to GRP is infinitesimal because production hulled boats are cheaper to build and they are prettier. Therefore the community of steel boat owners on UA-cam is also small. You two are the model for steel boat enthusiasts, along with Emerald Steel. Researching the web, it appears to me that there is no perfect boat, just choices of what you need to maintain; because there will always be maintenance. Just pick your poison. Me, I chose steel, Bruce Robert’s origami type design, built by pros and welding teachers. I feel safer in steel. I feel more confident, and less anxious sailing a steel hull. For me, the key word in “Fibreglass, is glass. Sailing a crystal glass hull, avoiding rocks, trees, boats, and jetty’s, all of which are trying to sink you. Steel please.
Absolutely incredible visual progress on the interior since your last video. You guys are always just amazing to watch!🎉
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Looking forward to you getting the boat back in the water after all of your hard work. It is starting to look like an entirely new boat.🎉
Yay!! Thanks!

Tons of people WISH they only had that kind of drama.

Pregnant with sailing prospects! Haha.
I would have just added risers to arch,as the strength would have added to extend more solar panels, and helped as a davits for your dibgy
It was overbuilt and we constantly hit our heads on the bar we removed, so it made more sense to remove it
AHHHHH
😁😁😁
so close

Yep we agree. Steel is real as they say! Worth the maintenance for a strong and safe boat
