I did the exact same as your car but its Cripped out! Im Nardo Gray on blue with 5% tint, sun roof, M Performance exhaust, blue big breaks and black accents. M340I upgraded grill, paddles, turbo, steering wheel, and all the underskirts!

Agree, this is officially the best M340i I have ever seen in my life. Not only does it look better than the M3, but it has better MPG, and less cost to maintain. Its an M3 killer.

M sport seats can be spec’d in Europe on any 3 series, down to the 318d which raises a question, why are they so stingy when it comes to offering these options in the NA market??? Honestly, it’s so stupid. Base spec M sport 3 series in the EU come with an alcantara interior while for base in NA we are stuck with sensatec. Sensatec isnt bad, but man the base interiors in the EU are way more interesting. They have more stitching etc
I’d rather just spend 4 bands getting my 340i FEMTO unlocked stage 1+ BM3 and drop in a down pipe and or exhaust than mess with some slightly better M seats. Idk I would call this rice but definitely the wrong priority in my book.

How does a swap like this work? Are there any misalignments or anything that will come apart/degrade quicker as it isn't a perfect fit? Or is it a non issue for the lifetime of the car?

There’s more to it then just coding , wiring has to be done from body control module to the seat module
