I tend to rotate through a lot of different weapons, but my favorite for the past couple of months has definitely been Forerunner. I don't care if it's meta, I like big hits on PvE and PvP enemies, and the catalyst is SO MUCH FUN!
I keep hoping that Fourth Horseman will eventually be good one day. My clan has started to become concerned at how often I want to use it as a DPS strategy… My favourite weapons also include The Spiteful Fang, Recluse, Hammerhead, and Wish Ender. Babushka.
My favorites bounce around a lot, but some that i always come back to are No Time To Explain, Tractor Cannon, and The Colony. i also have copies of the Hard Light and Borealis for each of my guardians because they are really useful when doing general stuff instead of farming something specific.
Why multiple copies? Just have one and switch between characters with dim. Also for shields arbalest is better, borealis is mid, and hard light is barely usable.
I want a part 2 and my favourite would probably be hierarchy of needs! Also calling Gjallarhorn enjoyers basic, while true, you CANNOT then go ahead and say witherhoard users are "correct". They are a dime a dozen, I reckon if you join a tower and it's somewhat half decently populated, you have a 90% chance of finding someone either using Arbalest, Osteo Striga or Witherhoard. 90% of the time, I PROMISE.
My favorite guns are without a doubt Collective Obligation, Rat King, Tarrabah, Sweet Business, and Outbreak Perfected. The former two I use frequently in all activities. What does that say about me? Also, instead of babushka, I will say to you... toxicognath.

As a Sweet Business user I definitely watch True Vanguard and use Traveler's Chosen. And I'm glad you didn't roast me in this video, because my self esteem can't take yet another hit.

Love my Outbreak Perfected, got it solo when zero hour came out, after several days of trying(I’m not very good at the game but I am stubborn) and I have loved the thing ever since. Not meta but a lot of fun.
I'm surprised you included Glacioclasm, and you also right about it. That highimpact fusion is still one of my most favorite special weapons to this day
I would love to hear what you'd have to say about Osteo Striga or Revision Zero, as they are currently tied for my favorite weapons in D2. Especially Revision Zero getting some phat buffs mid-season.
Sweet Business is my favorite for one simple reason: I am an unapologetic titan main and hunter hater, and there is nothing more rewarding than shooting them out of the air with a billion rounds of brrrrrrrrrbabushkarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt! I always pair it with Actium War Rig and I couldn't care less about the meta, because to me the only important thing about it is if it feels good to use.
Vex Mythoclast is my favorite weapon. Both in PvP and PvE. I run it with Rain of Fire so I can stun barrier champions and a chill clip fusion for other champions.
I preferred the old skyburner’s oath because once in a blue moon, the hipfire would deal damage & it would feel great. Also because the callus’s promise ornament is probably one of my favorite looks on a gun.

I’m a Traveler’s Chosen main, and I do occasionally watch True Vanguard. However, why would I want to go to a place where people already agree with me on my favorite weapon? I want to cause chaos wherever I go.
The Last Word is both stylish and reliable. Easy to use but efficient in the hands of a skilled marksman. It's elegant and says one thing about you as a person, you watch both too many sci-fi movies and too many westerns and can't decide if you like Westworld or not.

Dead Man's Tale * B A B U S H K A * EDIT: I pair it w/ Funnelweb and either my Vorpal Hothead for PVE or my recently crafted Taipan or Palmyra-B in Crucible/Gambit. Just a default loadout I have fun with, especially with Strand Hunter.
My Crimson at 45k PvE kills: “Hold my beer.” There is a story behind why that number is so high. The first 30k kills is from way back, during the Curse of Osiris days. I had an internet provider that would allow me to play destiny, but it would refuse to matchmake me with a single other player. I was forced into soloing whatever I could to progress, and Crimson was my only reason I could. Using it and Celestial Nighthawk, even Strike bosses were down in a matter of a couple minutes. The other 15k came from what Armor 2.0 did with Lucky Pants. With that, Celestial Nighthawk became the Exotic I swapped to whenever I popped my super, with Lucky Pants actually becoming what I mained. Those Strike bosses only died even faster with that setup. It was a good system for me, and after an ISP switch, I could finally match with players again, stronger than ever, and with quite the story to tell my friends.
What's wrong with Fourth Horseman, I am using it and it has won me boss fights several times, plus ITS A FOUR BARRELLED BOOMSTICK, you can't go wrong with that.
BABUSHKA Outbreak Perfected, Battle Scar, or Xenoclast. _Yes, I still love my Xenoclast._ I agree BABUSHKA is a great word to say, but may I suggest that 'heinous' is also equally fun?
I love the “Sweet business” because Burt and I have found memories of the beta and the red war. As well as the “Ace of Spades” because I remember cayde’s death. CAYDE STANDS!!!!!
I have a hard time choosing one. Most of my favorites got sunset and led to me taking almost a year off of the game. That weapon being my Prized Longboi, my Trophy Hunter. Five shots become seven. The second one is probably Python. Yes, that ritual Gambit weapon. It turns out that you basically never have to reload a shotgun that has overflow and one two punch. Very reliable and “comfortable” gun for getting out of sticky situations in raid encounters. Le Monarche is another favorite of mine because of the time I used it to get a “The Hard Way” medal, that’s wiping the opposing team in Gambit without using heavy or Super, Le Monarche meant I did it without special as well. I also had an opening shot Parcel of Stardust. An edge has been blunted in my close range game ever since. Oh, and Babadook. Oh I did it wrong.
My personal favorite weapons summarized Cerberus +1: The Meta never mattered to you and you’re just using this because you like the fact it’s an auto rifle shotty Xenophage: You never cared that it had pour time to kill, all you cared about it is that it is a slow rpm explosive machine gun that sounds like a bolter Devils Ruin: hehe laser go BLOOOOOOM

I love Gnawing Hunger. Every time they buff my baby I laugh maniacally. I haven’t taken it off my guardian since Arrivals and have nearly 60,000 kills with it. If they ever made a model one, I’d buy five of them and then try to make them functional. Also love Lament, I will rush every single champion or boss with it with zero regard for my own survival. It’s a race to see who dies first

Salvagers salvo. I have 10K in PvP with it. It’s my only weapon past 3K PvP kills and one of two energy weapons past 1000 kills.

EDIT: I pair it w/ Funnelweb and either my Vorpal Hothead for PVE or my recently crafted Taipan or Palmyra-B in Crucible/Gambit. Just a default loadout I have fun with, especially with Strand Hunter.

My Crimson at 45k PvE kills: “Hold my beer.”
There is a story behind why that number is so high. The first 30k kills is from way back, during the Curse of Osiris days. I had an internet provider that would allow me to play destiny, but it would refuse to matchmake me with a single other player. I was forced into soloing whatever I could to progress, and Crimson was my only reason I could. Using it and Celestial Nighthawk, even Strike bosses were down in a matter of a couple minutes.
The other 15k came from what Armor 2.0 did with Lucky Pants. With that, Celestial Nighthawk became the Exotic I swapped to whenever I popped my super, with Lucky Pants actually becoming what I mained. Those Strike bosses only died even faster with that setup. It was a good system for me, and after an ISP switch, I could finally match with players again, stronger than ever, and with quite the story to tell my friends.
What's wrong with Fourth Horseman, I am using it and it has won me boss fights several times, plus ITS A FOUR BARRELLED BOOMSTICK, you can't go wrong with that.
I love using outbreak perfected because it incentivises going for precision hits and kills, also pulse rifle moment

My favorite is the first Seventh Seraph Revolver with Explosive Payload. Or the Long Shadow Sniper with Explosive Payload. I guess both.
I love the “Sweet business” because Burt and I have found memories of the beta and the red war. As well as the “Ace of Spades” because I remember cayde’s death. CAYDE STANDS!!!!!

Revision Zero, Jotün, Wishender, Ace of Spades, and Sleeper Simulant are my favorites, Babushka!!
I have a hard time choosing one. Most of my favorites got sunset and led to me taking almost a year off of the game. That weapon being my Prized Longboi, my Trophy Hunter. Five shots become seven.
The second one is probably Python. Yes, that ritual Gambit weapon. It turns out that you basically never have to reload a shotgun that has overflow and one two punch. Very reliable and “comfortable” gun for getting out of sticky situations in raid encounters.
Le Monarche is another favorite of mine because of the time I used it to get a “The Hard Way” medal, that’s wiping the opposing team in Gambit without using heavy or Super, Le Monarche meant I did it without special as well.
I also had an opening shot Parcel of Stardust. An edge has been blunted in my close range game ever since.
Oh, and Babadook. Oh I did it wrong.

Cerberus +1: The Meta never mattered to you and you’re just using this because you like the fact it’s an auto rifle shotty
Xenophage: You never cared that it had pour time to kill, all you cared about it is that it is a slow rpm explosive machine gun that sounds like a bolter
Devils Ruin: hehe laser go BLOOOOOOM

I love Gnawing Hunger. Every time they buff my baby I laugh maniacally. I haven’t taken it off my guardian since Arrivals and have nearly 60,000 kills with it. If they ever made a model one, I’d buy five of them and then try to make them functional.
Also love Lament, I will rush every single champion or boss with it with zero regard for my own survival. It’s a race to see who dies first
