That clamp connection at the muffler looks questionable at best. 😅
I just tried installing this on my 2019 and that reducing clamp at the muffler is miserable. Doesn’t clamp down on the factory pipe at all.
Don’t have to disassemble the clamp
Muffler end clamp connection is completely unacceptable. Why on earth would you cut out that hanger?? At 6:08 there is clearly a factory clamp that would allow the resonator end of the pipe to be removed. The straight pipe could then be (cut 10-12" shorter) clamped on, retain the hanger, and not have that leaky slip fit to the muffler. I mean, talk about getting a product 95% of the way there and fumbling hard.
Right... so stupid....
I have f150 lariat 2011 4x4 5.0 and the multiple don't have that accordion piece ? Is straight pipe from muffler to resonator
Editing error/repeat at 2:15 lol. Perfect informational video on the delete tho!
I already did delete resonator on my 3.5 Ecoboost 2013, but it did no difference, since my truck doesn’t have the kind of mesh-filter, right before the muffler, might be that why ?. Please reply. BR.
Did I miss the sound clip?
Sound clip is right at the beginning of the video! -Zach
@@americantrucks thank you! I went back and re-watched 👍🏻
Do you get the drown bad from it
Just removing the factory resonator will increase some exhaust tone and volume without making it sound like you lost a muffler! You shouldn't get any crazy drone from this system. -Zach
