Lol. Dude, I’ve been driving for 16 years. When you started explaining how to put the truck in gear, I felt like a rookie all over again. I was paying attention like it was my first day driving. 😂🤣
This is love…little bro is going to get there. He’s receptive to instruction, that’s the key. The nuances and ALL the other aspects of trucking will come from experience. Keep encouraging him, you did a good job of not yelling or degrading him. When you share knowledge, particularly of this magnitude you live forever.
Same, Just got my permit a few weeks ago and have no one to teach me, no idea how im going to learn how to drive, so i went ahead and bought a wheel simulator for racing games hoping it would teach me how to drive
@@mfsheesh445 lol bro I kid you not. I did the exact same thing. bought American truck simulator, a steering wheel, 3 computer monitors the whole setup. But 2 weeks ago I found an affordable trucking school near me in Florida called RoadPro Cdl Training which cost $2500 for manual and $2000 for automatic training. The training last until you pass the road test and they have cdl examiners on sight. Good luck moving forward.
@@mfsheesh445 I mean I doubt it’s like being behind the wheel in real life but the concepts are the same and after a few setting changes to the gear shifting method I learned how to float gears rather than using the clutch but it helps with understanding the direction of turning the wheel when backing the trailer into docks and getting the feel of using a stick shift.
The best way is to have him ride around for a day or two and have him WATCH everything....That's how we all "learned" to drive ....sitting in the back seat watching mom and dad rip around town.!! We didn't need no stinkin drive school...by the time we were 13 we had it down....!!
First of all I think that's a good looking Pete, also I think you're a great brother to take the time and show the patience you did with him. I taught my brother and my son the same way, I commend the way you instructed him, you're going to make a good driver out of him. Good luck to him and safe travels to you my brother.
That's a Good Brother!! Stay on Him he will be a great Driver!! Good Luck to you Kai!! Enjoy the Ride to Success!! Stay Positive!! You got a good Teacher you are Blessed to have Him!!
Beautiful ride. 👍 You showed excellent patience with lil bro. It can be overwhelming for a first timer. My Dad taught my brother and I at 11 or 12 years old. I'll never forget those times. Thanks Dad
Wow... Knowing how to drive manual car doesn't mean you can jump right into a big rig. I drive stick shift half of my life, the way you have to drive manual truck is bit daunting for me. Love the truck man.
As someone over 55, who never drove a big truck and has actually been thinking about it, I really enjoyed watching this video and I actually learned a few things. You did very well instructing and you kept him calm. I'm actually thinking about going to truck driving school when I retire from my other career which is just 2 1/2 years away. I'll be 59, not sure if that's too old. But the money seems good, on top of a retirement, and would just add to my SS until I'm ready to fully retire. And I think I would really enjoy driving a truck for a little while. Great job, and thank you for sharing. I look forward to seeing more videos
The best way to let anyone to learn how to drive is to test the limits of their comfort level and the vehicle limits in a responsible way to see how the vehicle reacts so you know your vehicle. Know how it’s going to react in all situations. That is how I learned and it’s been a valuable assets.
My name is kai too! Come on kai don’t make us look bad…. Nah everyone has to start somewhere. I’ve seen way worst on first times, I know if u practice for about a week you’ll get. Jus like anything else, more seat time the better you get. Don’t give up my man🤙🏽🤙🏽
I wish I had a relative or a close friend that is a driver so that I could get a little lesson like this so that I could get a feel for things in a non-class no pressure environment. Just to get an experience and a taste before I go plunking down $$$ at a driving school.
He did good. I have trained driver for 10 years and half of them can’t even do this. Your a good brother. Get him his permit then take him out on the road
just spent two weeks with my brother learning his driving job though hes not in a big peterbuilt or mack hes got a cdl and is heading that way me and him basically did this and i realized driving isnt for me im too scared ill fall asleep on the route heading back so i went for another job cant wait till he gets one of these to show me just like this! You guys are cool hope you and your bro are trucking together one day!
He may be taking it all in but i guarantee you that on the inside that boy is beaming. I know i would be if my older brother let me drive his rig anywhere. You're a good dude for that. Nice job man.
He was also using the head style of driving a car when you turn your head to see behind you young bro you always use your mirror in your semi Love what ur doing big bro
Learning how to work the transmission is probably the hardest part. I can only imagine what a pita it must have been trying to teach new guys how to work a Spicer 2 stick setup back in the day. Nowadays new guys are getting put in automatics.
This kid is absolutely terrified lol but good job I remember the first time I learned to drive an 8 speed dump truck I mean I was nervous but I wasn’t really worried about it
When will you do a video which shows all of the things that can be changed from the driver seat? Explain all the pedals, switches, knobs, levers and shifters ect.
first of all good day. total weight 38 tons. What is the fuel consumption of 100 km? 13L. or 16L. 500-600 horsepower. 6 cylinders. 0 km only truck engines how much.? thanks.
Another things is not to let the foot on top off the clutch that cause friction alot specialy on a red lights so put the transmission on neutral and start again from 2
Lol. Dude, I’ve been driving for 16 years. When you started explaining how to put the truck in gear, I felt like a rookie all over again. I was paying attention like it was my first day driving. 😂🤣
Thought I was the only one who felt that 😂😂😂
Right 💀
Me too lol
🤣🤣🤣 No shit!
That’s not my truck but I was pissed when he just stepped in the truck without cleaning his shoes. Haha
Proud mom of these 2boys. Good job Kyron!! Thank you Kameran for giving Kyron a short lesson. 👍🏻
This is evidence of excellent parenting. Respect to mom and pop. 🙏🏼
🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Good job mom!
💯 ❤️
Haha, when he started it without letting the key cycle I cringed a little bit, lol. I'm glad you said something.
Right lol I’m surprised it fired up that quick ahaha
Yeah he got the family pass on that one 😂

Reeeeal eager!!! Awesome!
You don’t even need to run the grid or glow plugs when it’s warm out makes no difference
Lil bro definitely has a god given brother. I’d pay to have mine teach me something or care to teach me something. Much respect to these bros

@@romemac1380 Oh wow! Do you think the Simulator helped you learn how to drive?

Your a cool brother for helping him out. You inspired him. God job. ‼️‼️😎👊🏽🤟🏽👍🏽🤟🏽

Im not gonna lie, i was pretty nervous the first time i drove too. I was excited but nervous. Pretty cool you can show your brother the ropes
Great hob that's how you learn. 😊
Man those hands of you just telling me that you were polishing your wells, that's good to keep your equipment nice and clean!!!

LOL, that is a good big brother AND a good teacher
BUT
Man does your truck look slammed next to all the other trucks, I love it
Very good teacher and very patient. Well done!!!
such a good big brother, wish mines was like you.
I think that is the best way to do it , That way he has knowledge of it If he decided to go to school to get a CDL ,
Good luck mann
He’s in good hands. I’m no teacher but I think I can give him more then enough solid info to help the process 🍻🤘
Oh man this brings back memory's! Looks alot like the first time my old man let me drive! It's alot to take in for the first time that's forsure!
He did good. I have trained driver for 10 years and half of them can’t even do this. Your a good brother. Get him his permit then take him out on the road
Thought that was klay Thompson hittin gears lol

Love your truck man…looks awesome lowered the color looks good too
Everyone is nervous until they get used to it. The more he does it the easier it will get

Your channel is dope! I like the realness in the episodes man. Keep it up.
He may be taking it all in but i guarantee you that on the inside that boy is beaming. I know i would be if my older brother let me drive his rig anywhere. You're a good dude for that. Nice job man.

Good job young man. He has a future.
Wow what a beautiful rig nice color and everything
Way to go man good job teaching your brother I'm definitely subscribed to your channel
He has a reason to be nervous. That truck clean asf and he don't want to be the guy who fuxked it up lol
Do you plan on upgrading the interior? Shifter, air brake knobs etc etc?
Definitely! Haven’t decided on all that I want but I’ll try to make videos as i go.
"dont hit the brake, slow down" 😂😂
Do you have the patience of a saint your brother is in good hands
You two must be half brothers, but you treat him like a full brother and that's what it's all about.
Learning how to work the transmission is probably the hardest part. I can only imagine what a pita it must have been trying to teach new guys how to work a Spicer 2 stick setup back in the day. Nowadays new guys are getting put in automatics.
He passed the first test, no sandals while driving the truck 😆 I almost thought you had a automatic truck
Lmao good one 🙄😂😂
This is dope I remember when I started who better to teach you than your bro hope he’s doing better man you got it player
Training little bro, that's cool, my brother got me interested in truck in the 70's, but I drove big trucks. Shhhhh he didn't.
Omg it's like watching you teach a child to drive stick for the first time.
Man I would love to have someone with your patience to teach me better lol. Stay safe trucking !
Lol 😂 dang man you had me smiling like I was about to drive your truck for the first time.
This kid is absolutely terrified lol but good job I remember the first time I learned to drive an 8 speed dump truck I mean I was nervous but I wasn’t really worried about it

Beautiful truck bro. Is that a glider?. I don't see a def tank.
I have a 2021 389 x15 605 also 18 speed.
Nope fully working x15 def fluid and all
Bruh I’d die to drive that 2022 Peterbilt
Peterbilt 389 truck nice 👌
When will you do a video which shows all of the things that can be changed from the driver seat? Explain all the pedals, switches, knobs, levers and shifters ect.
We all gotta start somewhere……but dude did remind me of seasoned “Swift” drivers lolol
You need to do more of this. Shit I was nervous for him lol
Dude you peterbuilt is nice asf

Good video…keep the videos coming!!
That's a bad ass truck bro. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Damn that Pete is a beauty💪👌👌👍👍
I love that the directions are the same as what my trainer says
first of all good day. total weight 38 tons. What is the fuel consumption of 100 km? 13L. or 16L. 500-600 horsepower. 6 cylinders. 0 km only truck engines how much.? thanks.
Can you make a detailed video of all the different gauges and what they do?
🤣🤣 h
When he went for seatbelt on parking lot lol
Another things is not to let the foot on top off the clutch that cause friction alot specialy on a red lights so put the transmission on neutral and start again from 2
Sweet Pete. Train him right big bro.

Man that 2020 is nice
Such a nice truck
This man was taking off too fast for first gear, realized he was in fourth man was ready for the road lol
He probably loved playing snowrunner and dying to drive IRL. lol
Hey brotha sick truck 🤙 but where did u get your headlights from?
A friend traded me for my stock ones and shaved the stock turn signals.
Where did you get that steering wheel ive been looking for that exact one for months
Funny how in Europe, the cars are generally manual but the trucks are automatic, but in the US it seems to be the opposite.
Gosh I’m glad this guy isn’t an instructor. He’s hella annoying
Nice truck brother 👍🏼
He did a good job! 👏
