  • THIS GOLF TIP Will Show You How to Have a PERFECT SWING. Are you searching for the Perfect Golf Swing? Golf's 80/20 Rule will have you thinking less and hitting all of the correct golf swing positions - without thinking about your swing! You will have a perfect golf swing if you allow golf's (unofficial) 80/20 Rule to work in your golf swing.
This simple golf swing rule will teach you that most of the golf swing is a REACTION to your ACTION -That the perfect golf swing can happen if you ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN. Most golfers try to CONTROL everything in their golf swing and this leads to an inefficient golf swing that causes extra effort, tension, frustration, and unnecessary golf swing flaws.
By learning the 80/20 Rule in the Golf Swing you will understand how to make the club react to the natural forces acting on your and your body so that you can create the PERFECT, REPEATABLE, GOLF SWING EVERY. SINGLE. TIME

I am Tom Saguto, PGA Member and founder of SagutoGolf. Thank you for visiting my instructional page where you can find how to get on the fast track to improving your golfing abilities. Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.
My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.
My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.

I agree. Let the swing flow. I took golf lessons where I tried to get into certain positions. Worst thing I ever did. I lost distance and my handicap went up about 4 strokes.

Glad you enjoyed this lesson! Indeed, an effective, repeatable golf swing is built on a compilation of personal "feels" that are unique to each of us individually. Over time we ingrain these feels into a complete motion that we can execute without need for mechanical thoughts. We are then able to simply allow our ball striking and shot shape to be our guide, making only occasional minor setup tweaks when necessary. That is what it means to "take ownership of YOUR swing".
I hope you were able to reverse things and get your game back!

I truly appreciate your kind words, Edwin, and I'm very glad to know that you benefited from this lesson video!
Mr. Hogan is recognized by many as being the greatest ball striker of all time, and yes - he certainly did make great contributions to the world of golf instruction and remains popular in that realm today. Of particular noteworthiness in this regard is his book "Five Lessons - the Modern Fundamentals of Golf" that you referred to. There's a lot of great information in that book, but there have also been many misinterpretations that have led numerous golfers - and their ball flight - astray. I do my best to take what Mr. Hogan conveys in the book as his "feels", apply it to the reality of what he actually did in his swing, and translate it into something we all - including myself - can learn well from. If we get Hogan right there is tremendous and timeless instructional value to be garnered!!
      Thanks again!

Bump. Been with your program for about 6 months, was getting better then worse. Super frustrated!! Shot low 90s for a while and thought I was about to break thru, then went back into the 100s. I was so tense trying to crush the ball and thinking about weight on the lead side, shoulder down, hands back, hit from the bottom... started snap hooking like 80 percent of my shots. I was ready to publicly curse you Tom. But, I went back and watched this video and a light bulb went off. Went to the range and hit roughly 250 balls and wasn't fatigued at all and was in awe. It was so easy! I could actually feel the clubhead in the swing and the ball flight was manipulated by the swing path or stance (still got work to do there). My distance actually was much longer even though I'm literally swinging with maybe 10% of the effort. It's almost zero effort really. Just hoist the clubhead around behind you and let it fall back thru the ball like a pendulum. It's insane! I think this may truly be the secret to golf.

This is my honest review of your lesson I am a relatively new golfer . Actually a 1-2- time a year golfer . Only when someone who played golf came to visit me here in Florida . I Just started really playing in March of this year I can work with my driving not too bad but could not hit a iron more than 25% of the time i was getting frustrated beyond belief . To the point of thinking I'm just not made for this sport I watched minimum 20 videos on how to swing an iron and tried them Time After Time nothing helped by going to the driving range or playing golf at least three times a week. I watched your video probably 10 times today and last night practicing in my living room I went to the driving range today to implement all of your tips I tried to remember everything you said and a quarter of the way through the bucket of balls I was still hitting 25% and missing the rest and slowly put every step of your instruction into my swing no exaggeration I was hitting 90% of the time beautiful Loft and probably 20% more distance than. The few times I . Connected with the ball I was going to go to a golf pro but now I don't think I'm going to because some of your tips are unconventional For the by-the-book golfer and I don't want him to poison your recipe of success and to say I'm ecstatic would be understatement. thank you Tom!!

It's funny how in the process of learning you put together the building blocks, but something doesn't quite fit; for whatever reason, and it's different for everyone. I went out today for my 3rd session hitting balls with the new swing. I hit 15% hooks and 10% fades but the rest are pretty straight and very-very long. Spot on, KJ Kirky! Golf swing changes are clearly not immune from this world of instant gratification; many folks are truly expecting too much too soon! Was I allowed to turn my chest? I started doing it, keeping the club inside. Had more speed and played +2 on a 9 hole. 7 pars and 2 bogeys. For the first time on a golf course I started to feel confident. So, thank you. You're the best. A great instructor and really fun to watch.
