"No loot. No shoot" - Roof Korean
lol
lol
yessir
love em roof koreans
Excellent! Thats Theee zONLY Language they Understand!
Have owned the M17 for about a year and a half and reload my own amm with mixed cases. The gun runs flawlessly with everything I throw at it. Love that gun and wish we had them back in the early 90's in the Marine Corps.
Agreed!
Why the sweet F would you reload 9mm?
@james avery well then you ride the short bus
@james avery we all knew
@@DinoNucci I reload 9mm because you get way better quality ammo for the price of the cheapest range ammo.
"Like a couple of kittens, going with their Mommy." Indeed sir. That sheath was great too. 👍
"A nice pairing" - you are a gentleman, Eric.
"no loot no shoot". Gonna get that for my korean neighbor, hes a gun guy and would love that
Awesome look into the M17. 100% agree what you mentioned regarding the modularity of the weapon system with emphasis of use at the Operator, and Unit level of maintenance in the Military application. Can also see how easy troubleshooting the weapon system at the 20&30 level is gonna be for the Direct Support and 3rd shop personnel. First look at your channel, definitely staying tuned to what you guys got going on. 🤙🏽
I just got my M17 and I’m incredibly happy Eric did a vid on it, love the channel y’all keep it up
RAUSE Iraqveteran8888 just did a video on it! Check it out.
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 youre actually an idiot
From Cali, you’re one of my favorite channels to watch and one of the most honest channels with the best content.
STANDARD capacity magazine. Love it. Love the channel! Thank you
You 100% Sold me on one of these. I enjoyed a lot about this video! 1st your knowledge 2nd watching your knowledge in practice showing recoil control! In addition to a number of other details. The only thing lacking was a paper target grouping display
I've owned the M17 since they fixed the drop issues and it quickly became my favorite 9mm I own. A few thousand rounds and never a malfunction whatsoever. I would carry it to the gates of hell.
@@chadhaire1711 It's a lot more durable than Glock frames, especially to heat resistance.
@@chadhaire1711 there's more than 1 kind of "plastic" lol. Such ignorance in that reply.
Greatly appreciate the practical shooting reviews. A lot of us are looking for combat accurate firearms
This is my first handgun no issues so far been waiting for this review. Thanks Eric
It's a good choice this was my 2nd handgun but first full sized handgun and I love it lol it's so accurate and is deff my go to gun just need a proper holster for as full sized pistol instead of the little ruger SR9C that I usually carry. I am a dead shot with the sig and a okayish shot with the ruger.
You shot a perfect smiley face on that first round target after the poppers in the intro...
I have thoroughly enjoyed my P320. After the initial trigger issues, the updated models have been excellent.
Hooah! I'm glad you bought the M18 to your channel !
I’m getting my SIG M17 next week enjoyed watch you shoot I’m happy to get it thank very much
The tactical belly reload with the syntec ammo was smooth hahaha
Another great review Eric ! Love the Roof Korean t-shirt too lol
Shot the M17 and wasn't totally sold...bought the M18 and love it!!!
Have had one of these for close to 1.5 years as well as a Glock 19X. Did a few videos on them with some comparisons... I wouldn't have wanted to be the one to have to choose as they're both great pistols. Awesome review!
Seriously incredible. Thank you sir for sharing
I own a version of that knife (Hogue EX-F01) it is my favorite fixed blade fighting knife. Elishewitz designs good knives, and that one is very well balanced and nimble. It comes in different color coatings and grip scale colors too.
Sig All Day!!! Awesome review video nice job on showing it shoots all types of ammo, I love my P320C got it recently 1,500 rounds so far flawlessly. Eats anything you feed it.
Nice review! I’d love to hear more on how John Lovell changed your thinking about red dots on carry guns. I’ve never tried one, but they’re intriguing to me.
Bought one - M17 for mostly the range and tactical drills. New Hellcat is currently my everyday self defense weapon.
I would have LOVED to have had this in OIF1. I have the M17 now. Where has this been all my life.
The most appealing thumb nail I’ve seen in a while from anyone
As my companies Armorer, I cannot wait to get these in and not have to mess with the M9s anymore. Great video.
That shirt though :D
Long Live the Roof Koreans!
Great stuff as always!! Keep em coming!!
Solid info and another great review. Thanks for the vid.
what an Amazing grouping Eric you missed to test the controversy around these as self firing but boy I am amazed what an accurate hardware and with such wide variety of ammo it was like rock solid performance
A "Army cartridge handguns across the years" video would be cool
I think hickok45 has one
Yeah... .45 ACP to 9mm will be a dope video!!
I purchased a P320 compact w/ manual safety from my LGS then ordered an M17 slide assembly from one of the several parts suppliers that stock them. Then ordered an M17 coyote grip frame from SIG and BAM ! The only downside is the serial number doesnt have the M17 prefix, buts that a minor thing. And I dont understand why SIG does not sell the slide assembly on their website but the slide is available from multiple third party suppliers, (mine came brand new, sealed in a SIG factory package). Anyway, I love the M17 !
Edit: SIG also sells coyote floor plates on their website, (standard and 21rd extended versions)
You're right, I wish we had a pistol like that back in the day.
The first shipments to the Army had the FDE controls like the Sig M17 Commemorative Edition that Sig sold. However, later shipments of guns had black controls and the Army has returned all the FDE control ones to Sig who are reselling them used. Military Arms Channel had a video a couple months ago where he was already shooting a genuine "MilSurp" M17.
I watched this video and you sold me on this gun. So I went and got one. You are right! It does hit where you point it. It's one of my best shooting and most accurate guns that I own. I have a Wilson Combat grip module on order also. I also love the video. You're as happy as a fat kid eating cake. I also enjoy your Podcasts. I'm from Savannah GA. If you're ever in the area I would love to meet you. 2A Thanks
Well brother, you just sold me the sig320 always heard good things, but your opinion carry’s weight for me, thank you for doing what you do amigo!
Picked up the M18 last weekend picking up the M17 this weekend. You almost sounded like Hickok wooooing around 😂😂
I think Eric liked it. Lol. This is even higher on my 2020 list. Another great video guys
You guys rule I love Sig
I bought one of these last October and I love it. It literally does not care what goes through it lol. It's also my edc.
Same
Just bought one. I’m exited to get it on the range!!!
I am thinking about becoming a gun owner and I'd like to recommend a 5 guns video idea. Top 5 guns that are the most versatile for type of ammunition that can be used with that gun. Like the M17 with the X-Change kits.
There have been times when certain sizes or calibers of ammo have been hard to find or prices have spiked and knowing which guns can still be used with a different easier to find caliber during those times could be really helpful. Plus it can help us new guys have a brief introduction to the world of ammo.
"you can take that to the bank" - some might misunderstand the meaning of that haha
I just bought my first SIG a couple weeks ago which is this one but the M18 midsize. I might pick up the full-size version in the “Bravo Black”
Videos like this are why I am a subscriber.
Great vid. Can’t wait to see the 19x v m17 review
Bought the M18 a month ago, mine came with one 17, and two 21 round mags.
It's shorter, therefore has less mass above the axis for muzzle flip.
A performance version with ported barrel and slide would be awesome, as well as having the upper components available to fit this modular system.
i thought longer slides shoot more flat.
Nice. The Hogue in the thumbnail too.
Mighty fine set up my man
Good stuff 🇺🇸
yep
Great review and nice shooting! Kinda makes me want one!
Bought my m17 when they were first available, love it! Wouldn’t change a thing on it. Just wish the new optic didn’t cost more then the firearm lol
Some damn good groups Eric...
Great videos keep em coming
Going to BMT on the 9th of June and I'm hoping and looking forward to train with this one. Looks so much better to use than the 92fs.
Sage N Rage You’ll most likely be training with an m9.
yeah you're going to be training on the M9
Looks like you never did the upgrade to your original P320 and was curious if you didn’t or if they fix them without actually putting the new trigger shoe in them. Also, I was thinking the military now gets the black controls as well. Great video and I always enjoy!!!!!
can tell you had a lot of fun with this. Im not much of a handgun type but thats tan w/ black is a nice piece. i would carry one with a red dot any day
As a 19x owner I cannot wait to get my hands on a M17.
You wont regret it. My favorite handgun. I am looking to get a 19X as well though
There are going to be some amazing deals on an M9 soon!!!
I don’t know which one I want more, the knife or the pistol!! Both are very nice! The pairing of knives and guns in the videos is a great idea!!👍🏼
I'm a fan. Love my p320 full size. Between that, the FS92 and the P08, are the 3 semi's I can actually hit shit with.
Love channels who keep going during covid
Just picked this up. Great vid!
I wish I was back in, enjoying this new pistol. I didn't even get the chance to finish my training before being medically discharged
What do you consider to be the best sight picture on the p320/m17? Bottom of bullseye? Mid bullseye or fully covered bullseye? I have seen a few articles which seem to contradict each other. I have always gone mid but my p320 seems to shoot low, or it could be me!
Love my P320. Set it up with Apex flat trigger. Vortex red dot. I've never had a round not come out the front end.
Great offhand groups. Impressive!
How have you been? Good job on the video! Keep up the good work!
In case someone else cares, the blade is Hogue 35173 , and it also comes in a larger version too.
I've had the x vtac for a minute now had some light primer strike issues in the beginning sig worked it out tho now she's as accurate and reliable as captain Willie
If a private drops his new pistol, the armorer needs to issue him a HALF-RIGHT FACE!
It's always good to see a few shots
Eric, im not sure on the M17 but at the very base of the backstrap area on p320's it will usually have a stamping that says 'FM' for full sized medium grip or 'CM' compact sized medium grip etc etc.
Awesome shooting my friend!!
Just a friendly suggestion…waxed twine might prevent the soda bottles from sliding down so easily when you shoot the one each is tied to. 👍🏼
First off as a Korean I need that shirt. Second, I can't tell you how many came back to my old job due to the recall.
Never been so fast on a video keep the good work
I like this I love the loaded indicator my sd40ve has it to and it comes in handy
Absolute tack driver....and the ejection pattern! Wow
0:09 draws a smiley face on the fresh painted steel
Have you guys done a "Our Favorite Calibers" video yet? If not, I'd love to see one and I bet others would, too!
I like my M9A3, and I used to be a damn good shot with my issued M9, but the P320 and P250 just fit my hand right and are easier to work with.
Hey Eric, where did you get the Roof Korean shirt?
Appreciate y’all from Texas ^^
yep!
Nobody cares where you live. Just say you appreciate them.
Fort Worth Here!
Essoteric Heretic better than California
Their in georgia
Just picked up the M18 in all black. Sweet sweet gun. I love it. Especially with the 4" barrel. Home run for Sig
So a P320 carry with a manual safety? Or does it actually say M18 on the slide?
@@nikik5567 lol.. I'm no dummy it's an M18. M18 is in the serial number. Says M18 on the slide as well. Don't be a troll
06XTOR no no no. I mean is it a P320 or an M18. I’ve yet to see an issued pistol in all black. I see em with black controls, but not an all black gun. I’m curious
Niki K sig makes Bravo variants of the service pistols in all black. I’ve got the M17 “bravo”
Talltale I know the civilian version has the bravo cuz I own one, but I’ve never seen one get issued. So I wasn’t aware they even were being issued.
That bore axis doh ... like a school bus on a playground slide.
That is a VERY nice firearm! I can hear the click in the reset after every shot. Great review as always! Keep up the great work gentleman! Also, thank you for following my channel as well👊👊👊
As a bonus, from what I can see, they're pretty value-priced. Soon to be added to my inventory.
700 dollars retail is top tier price range for pistols. Unless you are looking at either stainless pistols or revolvers. If you know a website that sells them cheaper let us all know.
Damn sweet gun!! You are also one hell of a good shooter man!
I love that the roof top Korean shirts. LOL
Hey IV, so the all tan M18 and M17s were the first generation models which during the MHS testing was found to have the drop firing malfunction. The gen 2's were never released to the public or military, and now the gen 3's which are issued to us in the Military are the ones with the black controls
🇺🇸👍🏻
They also retroactively fixed the gen 1s. I have one and it does have the post recall parts.
Does anyone know if an optic plate is available for the M17 that allows for a removable/replaceable rear sight? Thanks
Awesome shirt!!!
I finally got my ruger 57 ... thats gun is next on my list
That was a interesting video and I think the m17 would be a good thing to own I currently own a p320 sig and it is a exceptional pistol in my opinion I really enjoy shooting it and it is very accurate The only thing that I changed on it was I put a straight trigger on it which I think was a very good modification. I have shot probably 3,500 rounds through that sig p320 and I don't think I've ever had one malfunction with it.
The military no longer uses the M17 with tan hardware, the army wanted to save a few $ and switched to black hardware as well. The first 5,000 or so sig delivered used the tan. The army returned those guns to sig and Sig released the surplus military M17's to the civilian market. Im just glad i got a surplus tan on tan M17 while i could.
Not too many people were issued pistols when I was in the Army from 1972-78. I got to familiarize with the M1911.
