I have actually seen these in person and man you are not wrong... That dial is beautiful! The piece is stunning and one of the few Seiko's I would actually seriously consider picking up. Hope you are doing well Miguel!

...... I have the black dial version and the date wheel is colour matched .... I simply adore this watch , the dial has to be seen in person to appreciate how it catches and changes in the light ..... the Style60's are a superb range ... I also have the ivory dial SSA447J with power reserve indicator , oh and the black dial SSA449J version ..... ditched the steel bracelets and wear them all on decent leather straps ..... as someone with a decent vintage watch collection these Seiko's have the aesthetic of vintage without being a pastiche of a particular vintage model and at the same time have all the advantages of a modern reliable watch ...... oh and joy of joys as well as the oh so wonderful drilled lugs the crowns are not screw down ...... screw down crowns are great on a dive watch but for everyday use they can get annoying ......... oopps I wrote an essay , just rather passionate about this Seiko Presage range .........

I have the green variant ! So underrated and got so much flak from reviewers ! They're all wrong ! I did get it at a good price ! But the quality and look is fantastic ! And that dial changes the way it looks under different lighting ! Love it !

I always loved the look of this watch, as I love vintage-styled watches. I saw it in person once and I did the same thing, expecting the bezel to move out of habit several times! Hahaha! I ended up going with the 1959 Alpinist Reinterpretation (SPB249) in blue. It’s a much better watch, 200m, 6R35, dial even crazier with that DNA-style helix pattern, and a 38mm case. You should see that one in person… Stunning! Rivals a GS even more so! God bless!

Macys has them and it’s a very handsome watch. You can also apply any Macys discounts to the purchase. Hardlex is fine. I have a Seiko Chronograph quartz (20yrs), Skx 007(8 yrs), 009 (7yrs) and not a scratch on the Hardlex.

I have a SSK009 GMT version of this and I love it, it is not perfect no watch is IMHO but for its affordable price, great sizing, retro looks, beautiful dial, full lume picture despite the date window I think its a great buy

This reminds me of a bb58, but, a little more dressy. Your correct about specifications, wanting at least 100m , but, I take my diver off to wash up or shower 😂.
For me I still get really excited when I see a Grand Seiko authorised dealer , but, there's still gems in the Seiko booth.

Nice watch. I can’t understand how I could buy a SEIKO quartz watch from their Essentials collection that has sapphire crystal for less than $200. And I could spend more than twice that and get hardlex. 🤔
