- I took this Nuzlocke Challenge to a Whole New level for Monster Hunter Stories 2. Here are the rules for this challenge:
1. Can only obtain 1 egg in each Tagged area
2. If a Monstie faints it’s considered dead and can’t be used anymore in battle
3. Cannot use Mandatory Monsties in battle (Including Ranmar and Ratha)
4. AI Partners consequences won’t count for this challenge
5. Must Nickname Your Monsties
6. Dupes Clause in effect
7. If you lose all Monsties in your party and in the stables, you lose the challenge

And yes... I now know that Negate 1-hit KO doesn't work on anything but actual 1-hit moves.

Negate one hit KO only works against the one hit KO status from deadly horn jab. It does nothing against normal attacks, tenacity is the skill that does not allow you to get one shot by normal attacks.
Then how did it survive a 999 damage move???
@@eat_mymcbob6211 You always survive oltura’s super attack as long if its not yet in its final stage, only luminiosty can do 999 DMG and won’t survive.
Reaver if you ever do another Stories challenge you have to name a Monstie Sunbreaker

I don't count those deaths to Alwin, it was a friendly match. Deaths to monsters? Sure those monsties are dead but it was a friendly monstie duel between you and Alwin.

I'd say in a monster hunter stories nuzlocke, you have to use the armor of the monstie in your party, QND ONLY THE ONES IN YOUR PARTY, IF THEY DIE, THE ARMOR GOES AS WELL

I still confused what is the amulet, and how did Zelerd control Ratha?
Zelard was using chains to control Ratha. I saw a theory that because of this Ratha may have become blighted.

This popped up in my recommended, and from what I watched so far I really enjoyed it, but I gotta stop watching where I got to and come back once I finish my own run in case of any story spoilers
Took me like 12 or so attempts on the rr-mizu before I finally beat him haha.
I love MH and Pokémon, and stories look like they got a bit personal during a group ski vacation
Now I want to play Stories again. It was a pretty fun game.

The only challenge I’ve not seen done is beating MHS 2 without any new gear and/or upgrades, which could be tough at the end though considering the final boss compared to your reasonably small damage you’d have by then I’d assume, you’d need a lot of grinding and probably would rely on monsties (which could also have a restriction put on them theoretically if you wanted it to be even more suffering)

I feel like stories 2 has a problem with their bosses, alot of them get their challenge from stupid amounts of damage and nothing more until Oltura. Especially the glacial agnaktor and nowadays silver rathalos
I just got this game last week and I love it so far and I’m also glad to see youtubers making a nuzlocke of that wonderful game as well

For my current Nuzlocke, I count Subspecies as the same species, so if I got Yian Kut-Ku, I can't get Yian Garuga and Blue Yian Kut-Ku.
Edit: I also don't count scripted/story monsties as they were free pretty much

The update vid was just released today but just in case you haven't seen it yet, Molten Tigrex gets released september 30th and Dreadking Rathalos gets released october 7th

How the heck was I never subscribed to you...? I was thinking of doing a Flagship Monstie only run myself uvu No variants except Azure Rathalos [Which is a Flagship in MHG I think...?] only the flagships.
The Demo left a bad taste in my mouth,with frame drops and poor perfrormance issues. Made me skip the game entirely,but it being out for a good couple of months now i want to ask...have they fixed the performance problems with patches and stuff? I'm asking because i'd like to buy Stories 2 for Christmas.
