Now before any of you call me out on the audio problems the video has, I'm very well aware of them and have tried to fix it. This is a problem that happens after rendering the video. This also might have to do with the audio file of my voice over being recorded in Audacity.
So what we're gonna do instead is play a game. I want you guys to count how many audio hic-ups you find in the video. Reply to this comment and tell me how many you find and don't copy anyone.😄

Armor locke, you can only use a monstie if you have the armor, monstie dies, you lose the armor
Razewing ratha actually has a different wing pattern than other rathalos. I honestly didn’t notice until someone pointed it out
Razewing ratha's eyes are also more blueish and rathalos has dark blue spikes on his wings while ratha's spikes are darker if not black

I found that out as I was doing a compound quest with a cpu with a rathalos
Also the dark blue that normal Rathalos have is black with Razewing Ratha wich is not easy to tell but if you would take a screen shot of a normla Rathalos and put it nexst to a screen shot of Razewing you can defenatly tell .
Also the costume Naviru can wear shows it a bit clearer if you look at his normal Rathalos costume and then look at his Razewing costume
@@sanjayjones6532that’s more to do with being a Monstie. All of the Monsties are really young and aren’t done growing if Guardian Ratha is anything to go off of

I think this is one of your best recap type videos. You can just feel the passion for the game in your voice. The edits and even the intro was great. You brought enthusiasm to the table as well. Great job, this truly is a great video.
As cool as it would be I doubt Valstrax or Gore Magala are going to be in Stories any time soon as it would detract from Rise to let Jet boi be fully controllable and rideable here and Gore would require some special effect to keep your rider safe from the virus and to contain it from destroying ecosystems casually.
Valstrax might be in a potential Stories 3 though and Magnamalo is a monstie in Monster Hunter Riders so who knows.
Or just use power of friendship reasoning for the frenzy not being the frenzy
oh, we have the perfect mcguffin for controlling the frenzy virus: the kinship stone.
the stone already was shown to control both the black blight in the first game and the rege eyes on the second, both very similar with the frenzy virus, the black blight most of all (i remember seeing some playtroughs where the first assumption most youtubers made was that it was the black blight and we would end up fighting a gore magala), so yeah, in the riders spin off, we probably would be the only being in the world being able to live side by side with a gore magala, and it would be awesome if he was the main monster of stories 3 and had a similar storyline as razewing (but with a better progression of the story instead of the huge slip up capcom did with razewing after he grew his normal wings) as well as a way to expand upon the gore and shagaru magala lore.
@@Mephistofeles In general those are some things Mainline needs to take from Pokemon I guess, the storylines behind getting special mons through some side quest line and stuff to explain how we obtain certain creatures.

Honestly instead of switching elements, you should have concentrated with making sure you had at least one attack of each attack type on your monsties, that way they had an answer for any opponent. For instance Ratha's natural attack pattern is power, but by putting speed attacks from Rathian and tech attacks from Quropeco/Ash Kecha Wacha he had an answer for almost any opponent regardless of elemental attributes.
This is a master piece we have a quality content creator on our hands
Do you know what happened? I don't know how Zellerd controlled Ratha, or what Enas amulets has to do with Oltura? Also the only thing i can think of is that Oltura fused with Guardian Ratha, to become what we see.
Or an induced rage like the MHS 1 Ratha went through under the Black Blight’s influence. As for Ena…I think the game implies her ancestors helped the original Razewing Ratha defeat Oltura (in the credits, the mural show Razewing with a Rider) and maybe that the earrings were fashioned from its parts? That’s the best I got.
@@dragonstouch1042 But we see the ancestor just die and the person and as a spirit. Also in the first game the power was a surprise, and we know the black blight, controls monsters. But in this game the power has been built up throughout the whole game but ratha did not use it, and is never explained or even mentioned how this control is possible.
So that's why I'm confused just for more explanation and I've still never been able to figure it out either.

Honestly, I prefer Stories2 over any other MH installment. There’s so much more lore present than say, rise, which is just the “ooo~ scary monster. hunter you need to help us.” Trope, but with ghostly elements… and compared to the Kamura twins, Ena has much more of a story arc and personality within the game. (Honestly my favorite character apart from my boy Reverto) and even if people complain about Rathalos, during and after beating the game, I cherish my child Ratha, and nearly cried during the ending cutscene.
Note about my personal playthrough: I had to take a long break (at least 1-1.5 months) just to not smash my switch into pieces, due to Oltura’s difficulty. (That or my team just sucked at the time when I tried beating them)
But hey, I’m fine with people saying its “not a real installment” as to me, I feel like it is.

I think stories 2 story is ok until that evil eye guy which I totally see him becoming villain shows himself.
It's ok to have twist like this but they make his motivation so questionable and dumb.
He becomes this comedic evil villain for no reason, and there's no explanation why all the riders and the hunters follow/ aid him.
The hunters are being paid and probably don’t realize the world is gonna end. As for the Riders, I’m guessing cult mentality. Plus, there are hints in the first area that Zellard can’t be trusted. He is one of the two people who plant seeds of doubt into the Rider about Ratha and is the one who encourages them to awaken that power. Not to mention, the flashbacks do make him seem shady.
My thoughts: Valstrax left you on the island on purpose knowing the people of those lands needed you.
From being a blacksmith riding a valstrax to this... I love it

You ever do a no faint run? I did and it was not easy, for some reason the PC version felt slightly harder than the Switch version
No offense but the video kinda falls short on delivering your personal feelings on the experience. Besides the Tetsu/ Valstrax comment, Mike the Nergigante, and your general team composition throughout the game, you don’t really give much in the way of your thoughts on the experience. Like how it feels to see Avinia again, or seeing Cheval smile after the events of the original stories. I think your reactions, even if fizzled out by your friends, would’ve given the video a lot more flavor and personality beyond a summary of your playthrough with your thoughts sprinkled in.

Yeah same here. This felt like more of a factual narration of the events of the game rather than his personal experience.

Im sorry if I ruin anyones day but the element change mechanic will not be fixed they said that they think that making the base element stronger is better and that is just stupid since it was so cool in mhs1 and it probably took a lot of time to code and the mechanic doesnt even work and then they just changed opinion cuz it didnt work

I wished you recorded a full playthrough like you did with Rise since putting everything in a sub 20 video is not really interesting to me.
Glad you did this because I deleted the demo less than an hour in. I can't stand turn based jrpgs and being a fake mh did not help
It isn’t fake MH it was made by CAPCOM and they made a sequel because the first one was so successful, it’s not a knock-off, It’s a spin-off, meaning it is part of the general monster hunter game collection, and is set in the same world, the only difference is the lord is not connected with world, rise, etc.
