*Who brings on a lead guitar and out sings it....only Dimash! If you think those you are high notes....you have no clue what else he's gone on to do. And yes, he has the best voice in the world. Period!*
Just remember that this is Dimash’s 2nd song sung during the Singer competition in 2017 at age 22. His English wasn’t too good because of his accent but Dimash knows what he’s singing. So if you start in 2017, this is where he came to fame. He is 90% better now at age 27. People who only speak English can’t speak it properly. Dimash has been professionally trained since age 5 and I have seen videos of him training. It wasn’t easy but it’s something Dimash loves to do. So, check out when he first started in 2017 and then his many solo concerts around the world since the competition ended at the end of 2017. He is the best talented and humble singer in this entire world. I am 64 and have watched so, so, much of Dimash. He’s working on his Doctorate degree now. He will keep you on the edge of your seat. Who is Dimash Qudaibergen?
Dimash's birthday is on May 24. Height: 1.91m; 6'3 '. He has been training in music since he was 5 years old. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with honors’, having achieved a perfect pitch. He has composed 12 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate. We have to call him soon Doctor Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian (without accent, second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin (dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him). So far, he sings in 13 languages. He trains his voice for 3 hours every day, has a perfect pitch.
He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.
His current range is almost C1 - D8 (out of piano)! At least, that show us Dimash. 😃
Dimash is humble, kind, generous, respectful, reserved and very, very hardworking. He donates a lot of time and money to charity, supports people in need and always does so quietly. We only find out because some people feel the need to talk about it.

Compared to the stuff that I usually review (more extreme heavy metal) it may be considered pop, however I do understand how diverse he is as a performer. Simply unmatched!
Dimash is number one in my opinion. You will need 10-12 performances in multiple styles and languages to begin to understand the scope of his talent. Peace and love from Pennsylvania USA.
Oh you've only scratched the surface of what Dimash is capable of doing. I suggest you listen to his works in chronological order and see just how much he improves as he goes. It's truly amazing as is Dimash. When you get to his most recent works, you will hear a maturity and richness in his voice that is wonderful. Enjoy!

Excellent reaction. Congratulations. For me Dimash is the greatest vocalist and interpreter of this century to say the least. He sings all styles, he is a freak and genius. With his voice he gives meaning to each word he sings and with his expressions and body movements he transmits all the feeling of each song he interprets. Dimash understands the importance of conveying the real story of music through performance. His total commitment to the story in appearance, dress, body language, and emotion is like a mini-opera. Or a Popera if you like. His intense operatic, blues, jazz, folk, world, and pop music training are all elements within the story. Every performance is a work of art

@@PrymalChaos definitely for many, wasn’t the case for me at all. Not a criticism! There’s just so much more to his artistry & you’re missing out on it, or could be if only looking at the extremes.
@@lolawants2008 I'm glad to hear you say that there's more to him. I don't care for extreme ... anything, really. I'd seen a couple of brief clips of Dimash performances that showcased his extreme vocals. Big turnoff for me, but the name constantly crops up all over UA-cam and I decided I ought to give a fair hearing in case their might be something I like in his work. So I chose a reactor I like (PrymalChaos) and chose a Dimash video more or less at random.
I appreciate his vocal flexibility, power, range, etc. Extraordinary! But for me this is a kind of novelty performance, showing off hard-to-fathom talents and abilities. Interesting to see once in a blue moon, kinda like going to the circus to see people with amazing abilities. But I don't want to attend a circus every day, or even every year. So I was about to swear off Dimash entirely.
But if you can point me to a couple of videos that show what more there is to his artistry, I'd like to check 'em out and maybe appreciate this special young man better.
@@sudelaine8653 there are unbelievable vocal gymnastics in many of his performances. He’s got a gift like no other. I’ll include some that do have those, but it isn’t the _point_ of those performances. There are others without any, but they are the minority. However, specifically Opera 2 is a cover of a song that is built this way & he simply had fun with it. I personally wouldn’t even pick this song in his top 25… He’s got pure heart & soul he puts into his music, regardless of the vocal ranges too. Pure heart, a prayer for the world, see ‘Ave Maria’ from New Wave 2021. It’s not the Ave Maria you know, but a new composition. I’m not saying it’s not vocally impressive, it’s what heaven must sound like to me. A more simple song, he learned a night before his concert in Ukraine, his last of his 1st world tour before lockdown ended it abruptly- he sang a Ukrainian folk song, a love song to Mother, & he sang it to his own mother in the audience (you will see the camera on her a lot). It is simple & beautiful, called ‘Marigolds’. In this same concert you must see ‘Autumn Strong’- yes it does have some vocal moments that should take your breath away but song with intense heart & nuance. It is in Mandarin, from the Kyiv concert in his red suit it is just exquisite. It is a cover song, about a famous Chinese born actress who it turned out was secretly Japanese & during WW2 it was discovered, she was ostracized & deported to Japan, sad story, beautiful melancholy song. Kyiv performance specifically is out of this world. From same concert please watch ‘Know- Vocalise’. It is a Vocalise performance of a song he’s done prior, but quite different & just great. I also hope you see Adai+Daididau, from his Bastau concert. This is a traditional kazakh folk song- he is on a mission to carry his culture & share it with the world. His Bastau concert was his first full concert, a dream come true for him, 40,000 of his fans came from all over the world to his home country, & he gets emotional with this performance & the crowd. Beautiful. And Daybreak from Bastau also- a song in Mandarin he covers, about a true story of a tragic train car accident where a boy is orphaned. The original singer wrote the song & ended up adopting the little boy. This is both heart & mind blowing vocals. Sinful Passion from New Wave (giving you specific performances), Love is Like a Dream (look for version in burgundy suit), Adagio from Singer competition… there are so many…
I hope you come back & tell me what you think after seeing a few, I hope you’ll at least watch those 1st five suggestions:Ave Maria New Wave; Marigolds, Autumn Strong, Know- from Kyiv concert.. And Adai+Daididau from Bastau (Adai is a short instrumental in which he and many Kazakhs play the Dombra- national instrument of Kazakhstan, leads into Daididau).
I know 5 songs is a lot if you’re not sure you’re interested, but you will know if you have no interest or not.. it’s just that he is so unique, 1 or 2 doesn’t really cut it. Honorable mention is ‘Ikanaide’ from Tokyo Jazz Festival- the song Autumn Strong is actually the Mandarin remake of this Japanese song, similar but different lyrics, & completely different in every other way from his Autumn Strong performance. Both understated & not, like only Dimash can do.
@@sudelaine8653 also I’m with you, before Dimash I didn’t care for extreme vocals or big vocal runs, his artistry changed that for me though. This song opera 2 though is just meant for that. I also love his quieter songs. I’ll add some of the even quieter ones, I wasn’t sure how to spell them so I’ll have to come back to this in a bit. Hopefully you can reply here so I can find your reply, as youtube is about to disappear your notification as it’s been 4weeks. Then I can return later with the “smaller” songs

This was the first song Dimash sang in English and had only one week to learn it. Dimash was outstanding in this show, and it's a great way to follow his progression from his first performance until now. Even today, Dimash still does vocal training for 3-5 hrs. a day every day. From this show, I especially liked All By Myself, Adagio, and Unforgettable Day. Dimash wrote the latter when he was 18 yrs. old.

Dimash is a gift to humanity from heaven above, he is the ONLY singer on the planet that gives me tears, laughter, shivers, goosebumps, heart and breath stopping everytime I listen to him, he must be an angel as NO singer ever did that to me, he deserves a Grammy, Oscar and many more to come!

Dimash for sure put on a show. He worked so hard each episode to stay in the show and if he didn't get the audience on their feet his chances dwindled. He was up against established professional singers too. The artists had to do their own arrangements, had two weeks to learn the language if they didn't know it. What many people don't realise is that the audience in The Singer are not 'just walk in off the street and cheer' audience. 500-strong musically proficient in some way - either as musicians, vocal coaches, producers, performance artists, singers, music writers, composers etc., so the artists were being judged by their peers. And each other. Every facet of the songs they sang were judged from their arrangements, performance, vocals. Not to mention 600 million viewers countrywide that saw the first episode where he sang S.O.S. He threw every bit of himself into his performances and even got sick and lost his voice for one of the episodes, but pushed through it beautifully. The number of times I've watched this and it still makes me tear.
That sounds like an amazing premise for a show! I had assumed is was like America's got talent at first, but people have been filling me in on the details. He got runner up right? Who the hell beat him?!
@@PrymalChaos He knew he couldn't win, rules were that no foreigner could take 1st place, he was invited as a wild card and went for the exposure, 600,000000 people in China tuned in, watched Dimash -rest is history ...rules were changed following year and Jesse J won 2018 ...and Dimash invited again as a guest performer, he sang Hello ...

They say Dimash has vocally matured since then. But records from that competition are my favourite ones. It’s such a fantastic feeling to watch how sincerely Dimash was surprised at how surprised that great big audience was. Pure love and light.
I too love his Singer 2017 performances, and listen to them regularly (though mostly through reaction videos), but his voice has definitely matured since then. Not that it wasn’t amazing before, but I can detect added strength and stability now, especially in his riffs and runs. On a side note, it annoys me when reactors don’t show his performances through to the end because the reactions from the other performers are usually priceless.
@@debbienockels3796 plus all the little moments that get missed, one reactor just cut off the whole ending of Opera 2 where Dimash's dad was hidden in the audience. He's actually gone back and just reacted to that bit and he was so glad he did because of how much it revealed to him about the kind of person Dimash really is.

He how’s because that’s what Asias do when they meet you. It’s called having classical training since the age of 5. He was 22 years of age. He is performing in a Chinese competition with the top Chinese professionals. Someone saw him on another competition show that he won and decided to invite him to take part in “I am Singer.” Competition. They thought he would only last 2 episodes but the audience loved him and the also did know about his repertoire of music that he sang. He stayed in the competition for all 4 months and ended up in second place. He was the youngest competitor and the first one that was not Chinese. They invited him back the next year as a judge and he also performed. The Chinese people just loves Dimash. He stayed in China for about 3 years. Now 2 years later is is in China again, performing. One of the languages he sings in is Chinese. He speaks Kazakh of course and Russian. He is also learning to speak English. His English is so much better now but he still has the accent. You’ve been Dimashified! 😁

Dimash has the most magnificent voice on the planet, incomparable. In addition to his exceptional vocals & many talents, he if the most versatile artist who can sing in at least 13 languages & in all genres. I have to listen to him everyday & listen to his amazing songs on his UA-cam & Spotify channels. it’s unbelievable all his technical abilities. Dimash was invited to the Chinese competition as a foreigner - Dark Horse. Nobody in China knew about him before. Officially, Dimash was awarded second place, because the competition is Chinese and the winner must be a Chinese. But this does not diminish the merits of Dimash, and for us, dears, he is a winner.
