  • NO CAMERA BREAKS OR EDITING! Just a real-time showing of how quick and easy this is. I couldn't get either window down or up without beating on the door panel. Rockauto.com has some great deals for replacement motor and regulators. This is a complete run through on how to complete the job.

    Nice Video, my was doing the same and I open it up and WD-40 a ton on the tracks and components and started working again not sure if it will work permanently but its been two weeks and still works. I think the tracks dry up or get dirty. Thanks.

    Great video I had the same issue with my Nissan Xterra I use connectors instead of just sticking the
    Wire inside hire another person driving so I left my clutch pedal operational a lot of people can't lay on can't lay on their back

      I can see what you mean about that. It's fairly tight for me and I'm not a large guy by any means.

    Great instructional video! Although my daughter tells me different, more videos I see, the more I am convinced I can do it myself, as I am always about saving money on auto expenses. Question… what is “OEM or OAM” that you reference? Original manufacture part?

    • @TheAdamConners
      @TheAdamConners  2 роки тому +1

      Yes you CAN do this! It’s one of the easiest fixes and will save you easily $100 in labor. Yes, OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer, which is Nissan in this case.

    ton of videos on how to change that rear window motor. but not a single one on how to replace the actual
    glass??

    • @TheAdamConners
      @TheAdamConners  7 місяців тому

      Only vehicle I’ve pulled glass out of is 90 integra, but they don’t have complete support frame around the glass. It’s as easy as undoing 2 bolts and it’s slide all the way up and out

    Is there a way to determine if it's a broken switch or a broken motor?

    • @TheAdamConners
      @TheAdamConners  2 роки тому +1

      I'm sure you could use a multi meter to rule out if it's the switch or not. I can't tell you how to do it though. I'm not educated in electricity.

    So how did you know it was the motor and not the switch?

    • @TheAdamConners
      @TheAdamConners  2 роки тому

      Because I could bang on the door panel where the motor was and it would intermittently fix the issue.
