I watched several videos, yours was by far the best showing only what you needed to remove to replace the window motor. Great tutorial go-to video. THANK YOU!
Great video. Lots of detail on the steps. Thanks for putting this content out there. Ordered the trim removal kit and regulator with new motor, followed the video, all the pieces came off as expected with no broken clips on a 17 year old 2007 xterra (amazing!), all went back on smoothly and works a treat. Thanks!
I just want to thank you for your video because of your video I was able to change my regulator on my own ,as well as my whole door handle (used a different video) since had had the door apart .
This video is perfect! Took my about 2-3hrs… my window was stuck in the up position so I had to drill a hole to access that bracket that held the window up😅
Thanks for this great video as it saved me money. My motor would not activate to allow the window to move down to the screw extraction port so I cut the cable in half and lowered the window so I could get to the far-left screw as I was replacing the passenger side.
Great video...but I absolutelly hate popping the plastic trims and tabs, as they are not really meant to be taken out and are very prone to breaking. That panel will now never be as tight as before.

Thanks, worked great! Only difference was I couldn’t just use the motor and had to use the whole assembly. The fitting changed from square to a star pattern. Probably best since the plastic female part was wallowed out and might explain it working intermittently.
This video is amazing, I just replaced the front window motors on my Xterra. I now need to replace the rear motors, does anyone know if they are the same as the front motors?
Um, I'm trying to replace my window motor because it doesn't work. You operated the window as part of a step.... what do I do if I can't access the bolts on the window because it is stuck in the down position?
I have a Pathfinder; same configuration, BUT, the motor connector is a 6-pin; not the "standard" 2-pin of XTerra/Frontiers? Go figure. Also, if only changing the motor, it is a good time to clean the regulator, lube cable and any other area of friction.

Very well done!!!
Thanks for this. Super helpful!
My window is frozen in the all the way down position. Any ideas?
Nice Video, but you didn't test to see if the window works or not...
How do you get the windows bolts all the way down if the motor is not working we tried forcefully but it's not coming down
Will this work for a 06 Frontier?
5:53 If I could move the window, I wouldn’t have to change the motor
Now what?
This is for changing a motor not a regulator
The problem with mines window won't go down so I can't fix it any suggestions?
Smak the moto it will give u life to position
