Schools such as Laerskool and Heorskool must now include black learners, be taught in SeSotho, IsiZulu etc and whites parents can't stomach that😂. The DA is well-known for challenging issues through the court of law. They should've challenged the Act long time ago through the courts, they won't because they know that they fighting a loosing battle.
The last time a state tried to influence language policies of schools was on June 16 1976. Language policy must be decided by the people of those communities.

Reading the ACT, the DA and other opposition to the bill have no real reason to block it. It's just that they want to prevent none Afrikaners from accessing these schools. Nowhere in the ACT does it say that Afrikaans must be stopped or removed, the ACT purely makes provision for ADDING languages so that children can access nearby schools instead of travelling far. DA and other lobbyists just want to preserve a certain homogeneous culture nothing else! Afrikaans is a South African language, it should be treated like any other language and not given "special" privileges.

Black afrikaaners were never excluded. Blacks who demand their own language burned their schools. In covid 450 schools vandalised earlier this year 7 schools torched over service delivery those 2 things are not even related. Blacks can learn to be black in the bush.

Actually the word for molecule in both Setswana and Afrikaans are similar and derived from the English scientific term. Atoom from Afrikaans is also a borrowed word from English.
