What he does not take into account is the birth rate difference between the race groups. I have no doubt that the number of children per family is FAR greater for blacks than whites. This is a major factor in the difference in wealth between whites and blacks. Many blacks regard children as a sign of manhood and a pension plan. Not so with the white population - family size has been steadily DECREASING.
I had this conversation with a friend a few days ago. It's all about the numbers. Julius Malema recently told a crowd at a rally to make babies. Doesn't matter if they already have children, and regardless if they're rich or poor, they should make more, he said. And that favours radical movements like MKP and EFF because most of the babies will become disgruntled voters in the future. We simply can't keep up with the increasing economic and infrastructure development demands, even if we had a well-run economy. It takes time for economic output to adjust to increased demand, but we're not even operating at capacity - that's how bad things are. Perhaps a major family planning awareness campaign - similar to the HIV/AIDS campaign in the 90s - could improve things a bit.
