That's good phone, I've used one like it to track myself and it worked. Not all the time but it worked. Phone is nice, your cousin Casey use Samsung galaxy, so should you 🙏🏾
Leonard, Actually, the Leo’s drones are not inherently exempt. I did see some UA-cam news that the FAA is in the process of not requiring Leo’s to have RID, but, currently, thats not the case. Currently, if the Leo’s use DJI drones that have RID built in, there’s no way to disable it. Supposedly, DJI might come up with a firmware update for LEO’s only.
@txarchdroneguy4731 o ok. Hi Mike, how you been? I believe DJI will make it where it can be disabled for LEO. If not, then it would be useless to use the drones for servallance.
No one has a right, especially a government agency, whether in public or not, to force a citizen to wave their constitutionally protected rights (1st, 4th, 5th, 6th Amendments) and submit to, without probable cause and/ or a 4th Amendment warrant, government tracking, surveillance, and control of a citizens private movements while enjoying a business or hobby, all while collecting and recording evidence that can, and will be used against a citizen in any FAA prosecution against them. And, in most cases, forcing a citizen to pay for the surveillance equipment that will be used against them. Why is everyone going along with this unconstitutional crap?
So true, I agree with you 100%. But unfortunately we don’t have control over this no matter how much we fight against it. Recently locally in nyc, the nypd and city of New York has decided to actually ban drones so they can fly their own freely.
@@MrEddieNunez The sooner we citizens learn how to exercise our constitutionally protected unalienable rights, the sooner the communist FAA will be out of our lives! Live free, fly free! God Bless!
The lawsuit was not successful and I'm not sure they're going to. Appeal I agree with you. I think it's an invasion and security risk to show the pilot's location. However, we lost the court case.
@@caliman777 I think you are referring to the RDQ case. On appeal, the RDQ case was denied because their argument was premature, a pre-enforcement constitutional challenge, as RDQ cannot, at this time, prove that the rule has caused them any damage. Until a citizen has been damaged by the Remote ID rule, there is no issue in controversy, so there cannot be a cause of action. Why? Because, the rule is not in effect yet, and therefore, cannot hurt anyone. On July 29, 2022, the RaceDayQuads appeal was denied by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Judge Cornelia Pillard ruled that the constitutional arguments made against remote ID's implementation were frivolous and/or “dependent on applications of the rule and not the rule itself”. The constitutional argument has not been properly addressed yet, so there has been no ruling on any constitutional issue at this time. Enforcement of RID is on hold until next year. Things will get interesting once rule has been enforced and a citizen is constitutionally damaged by the rule, then it’s game on!
I confirmed that when I launch my DJI Mavic 3 Classic it creates a WiFi hotspot name with my serial number as part of that name. So, regardless of the apps and devices, all DJI drones on the FAA RID list should be creating a WiFi hotspot name when flying. Check it!
I tested drone scanner from google play to see if it will show my dji mavic pro 3. And it show the drone location and pilot location. Like why the fvck does it show the pilot location? Anyone who doesnt like drone will use this app to find the pilot. Fvck piss me off. We just want to fly for fun as a hobby. We dont need the gov or karens knowing our location. Thats fvck up.
I have yet to purchase any RID devices, thanks for showing what's going on.
Any time!

Top tier bike riding 💪
Thank you top-tier aerial photographer!
Kool video on this subject. My opinion is the police drones are probably exempt from RID.
Very possible. I’m going back to far rock today to test further and hopefully interview the fdny drone pilots.

Hi, Eddie! I hope Ken Heron is right on this one!
I guess he was :-)

My DJI Mavic 3 Pro and my Mini 3 Pro both transmit data. Using the app OpendroneID.
Just checked my OpenDroneID with the air 3 and still nothing.
after second don't let me get off topic, I closed screen. Get to the point. I'm not interested in all of your detours.
Peter, you are in control. Don’t like it? MOVE THE F ON. I don’t care if you watch or not.

Interesting. I wonder why it’s not working for me.
@@MrEddieNuneznext time you see FDNY flying just open your WiFi on your iPhone or android phone and see if the RID hotspot pops up.
