We are currently looking into getting this drone, but wondering if DJI is going to be putting out the Air 4 soon. But this looks so amazing and cannot wait to get flying! Thank you for the great video unboxing and sharing the amazing views!
Hey Mate 👋 DJI are in the business of selling products so every model is going to get superseded, it is part of the capitalist beast. In our opinion the jump from the Air 2s to the Air 3 is worth noting for the tele lense which creates great depth, but at the same time it depends what you need. We guess if you know what you want to shoot and film and how mobile the drone is (example - when you travel), these 3 question have to be the basis for your decision. Do you need a DSLR or cineflex to film it? Rent a helicopter, the sky is the limit dude. In our time we've flown a home built hexacopter with a gimbal for a go pro hero 3, dji phanton, dji mini, mavic, mavic 2, Air 2, Air 2s and now an Air 3. I can see the merit in the Mavic 3 for photography but in saying that I have taken amazing shots on the Air 2 and blown them up for print 1.5 meters across instagram.com/p/CIhUCzcDp0x/?igsh=MW8weHdmMWVnanpjaA== instagram.com/p/CK3T8nDjrVG/?igsh=bDYzYzJnZmpwN2p3. For us the Air 3 ticks all the boxes in terms of needs met! 📦 😊
Hey mate! That's cool we were not aware! Our position still stands though, is it worth waiting for the new model? It's really irrelevant. We hope the alien gives your beer back soon 😅✌️
Nice Dan! We are yet to use the vision assist but definitely a handy feature if you are in a tight spot or just need extra reassurance of your surroundings 😉
@@adventure_seekers There is a case for the RC2 Air 3 controller where it will keep everything in place meaning once you screw the joysticks that will be it. The entire case encompass the controller and protect it from transporting. Basically you open the case, you use it normally. I have it on mine, it works flawless, saves time.
Hey Dan, awesome thanks for the tip mate. We will definitely investigate that case, very handy for a quick step. We did not know about it prior to your comment!
I love my AIR 3. I have 5 other DJI drones. Tbey all are great. I just got a Autel Evo Lite + Premium Bundle, a few days ago, that I haven't opened yet. And I just ordered the potensic atom 3 axis gimbal fly more combo. It will be here in a few days. Im currently studying for my part 107 Comercial drone license & plan on starting a Drone photography and general photography side business.
Hey John! We have loved all the drones we have previously owned...until they either enter the water or leaving we mistakenly left it on the plane...doh! We're yet to try anything other than DJI as the user experience has always been really great. The potensic looks to be great valve for money! Awesome mate, keep up the study and look forward to seeing the results once you're qualified!
Awesome Drone the Air 3! Iv had mine since release. My first drone was the Air 2 with the OG Smart Controller. I Fly the Avata 2, Carbon fpv and thebAir 3, i have owned the dji fpv and the Avata 1. Love the unboxing location btw. You guys seem fun. Thaks for sharing. Cheers from Maryland USA. Yall in Australia or New Zealand im guessing?
Hey Randy! Dude that is an epic collection of Drones! We are yet to try an FPV drone but super keen to give it a crack! Thanks mate it is a wicked little camp site. We appreciate the kind words and we try to have fun! We watched your vid on the air 3 1 year review, great info, keep it up legend! We are in Australia 🇦🇺 😁
Hey Kev, Thanks for the comment mate! They are a fantastic drone and we are stoked to finally have one again after our misadventureseeker moment in Japan. How is yours going? I see you have a video on the air 3 also!
It's a novel idea Alain! 💡 I'm sure someone has consider this. I guess the down side for these companies is they want to maximise accessories sales and the like (batteries, charging stations, etc.) so we're not sure the impetus is there for drone companies. The same could be said about EV cars...?
Thanks Michelle, we appreciate the love! We bought it at @jbhifi which is an Australian based electronics store (no worries for the shout out JB 😉). Currently it is not insured 😮 one of us thinks we should insure it and the other isn't worried 😜 What do you think?
hi mate,i just got mine now exactly now ahahaha can u recommend a charger?thank u,im here in SYDNEY and the bad news is im close to the airport ahahaha
Hey Jordan! We only have experimented with the Ecoflow delta and it's been pretty good! We cant really fault it. I guess the only thing we would say is for our camping needs, maybe something with a slightly longer battery life span would be great. Running a duel zone domestic 75 Litre I may have got 2 days max out of it before needing a charge. We use a 300Watt solar panel and when the sun it out it's great but going off grid without any sun would make it tricky over a longer period of time if it was your only power saaaauce source* Maaaaan unless you want to get smoked by CASA I would go fly it out in the scrub! Happy flying legend!
I can't download dji fly app on my android phone, can I download pics or videos direct to my phone from the drone via a cable or do I have to download them from drone to laptop first?
Hey Des, I assume you have figure it out by now.. but incase you havent >> you can just direct bluetooth/wifi to the drone and retrieve your media on your phone! I hope this helps 👍
I am subscribed now. Great video. I have a few drones. My favorite is my Mavic 3. Please join us at the 5th Annual South Florida Drone Meetup. Fly safely.
OK drone story's I crashed my first my first ever droper drone the mini 3 pro in a tree The biggest tree in Andrews Memorial Primary Am sure you have heard of the Titanic Anyway I was in sports mode Trying to get that last shot of the 12th day sun going down You no what I mean So I stopped JUST BEFORE I HIT THAT HUGE TREE then put the drone into c mode And all the alarms kicked in And I panicked And went forward instead of going backwards The screen went blank and my heart sank to the deepest part of the ocean Thats me done with DRONES BUT the rain came on and I went to myself Let's have a look for it Went down to my friends Stevens house to get his fishing rods out But he wasn't in So put on find my drone The camera came on and The camera wasn't looking at branches It was looking at some white wall It had hit the tree and landed in between an enternet metal box and the wall
Hey Gaza, mate that same scenario has got us forsure. The what do I do and the panic and then bye bye Drone! We watched someone while camping go Sport mode into a hill side about a month ago at night, we called the crash early!
Cheers John, you are correct. Anything over 250g needs registering in the US, The big C and Euro for recreation. But you don't need to register them in Australia for Recreation. Commercial use is as we say a different kettle of fish.
Leave a comment and tells us about your best drone stories! 😅
Bought mini 3 pro. Won't take off, I'm to close to airport.
You are most certainly in a restricted fly zone mate! Usually a 5km (3.1mi) is the closest without causing any issues
Love it.
@markfaggion841 Thanks for the support Mark 🙏

Hello where's the meet up ??
I just bought mine. I'm looking at the unopened box now....
Pop that box! We hope you only have to do it once unlike us!
Did you register that new drone with the FAA before flying it?
Hey Edward, we are in Australia so we dont need to register it with the FAA. The Australian equivalent is CASA and rules do differ slightly.
@@adventure_seekers cool! Thanks for the video and the reply!
Air 3s is coming out today.
epic!
I have been wanting a drone for along time now
Just wish someone could help me buy one
Sell some stuff you don't want and go buy one legend! 🚁 😋
OK drone story's
I crashed my first my first ever droper drone the mini 3 pro in a tree
The biggest tree in Andrews Memorial Primary
Am sure you have heard of the
Titanic
Anyway
I was in sports mode
Trying to get that last shot of the 12th day sun going down
You no what I mean
So I stopped
JUST BEFORE I HIT THAT HUGE TREE
then put the drone into c mode
And all the alarms kicked in
And I panicked
And went forward instead of going backwards
The screen went blank and my heart sank to the deepest part of the ocean
Thats me done with
DRONES
BUT the rain came on and I went to myself
Let's have a look for it
Went down to my friends Stevens house to get his fishing rods out
But he wasn't in
So put on find my drone
The camera came on and
The camera wasn't looking at branches
It was looking at some white wall
It had hit the tree and landed in between an enternet metal box and the wall
Hey Gaza, mate that same scenario has got us forsure. The what do I do and the panic and then bye bye Drone! We watched someone while camping go Sport mode into a hill side about a month ago at night, we called the crash early!
I got my drone yesterday and I let my brother fly it today and he crashed it😢
Oh man, I was that guy once...crashed my brothers drone...but it still worked 😊. What drone do you have...does it still fly???
@@adventure_seekers I have a DJI mini 3 and the front left hinge is broken
Ahhh devastating 😢 We hope you can get it fixed Tony! 🙏
@@adventure_seekers I hope so to
