Load the control arm with the jack before tightening the two bolts (like you did when installing the sway bar link). Those rubber bushings are now pinched in the fully extended position - when the car is lowered, they're under twist tension.
In the other video I watched the guy said disconnect the ball joint before you try to take it out so you dont pull on the axle like you did but still a good vid

The instructions are great for driveway work, no lift. Have grease gun ready if the replacement ball joints need grease
