*Watches him turn off night flights on every new stand he placed.* "huh, i wonder if he turned off night flights so its not as hectic." "Why is this time restricted?" "Because you turned off night flights." "Oh i have to turn on night flights for each individual stand?!" "Because you turned them off!"
As an FYI you don’t need a 1-1 ratio of bus stops to remote stands. As you can have them connected to multiple stands you can have then serving multiple stands provided you have enough buses to keep it moving. The number of buses is more important
So for your future reference if you want to put the PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicators) lights in the right spot they go in bars of either 2-4 on the right or left side of the runway. About a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the way from either end of the runway.
You should have went for medium stands when you built the new stands. Also connect the service road that is near your new hangers. Service roads can be placed on taxiways. Also like someone else have mentioned connecting the two runways gives planes options. Upgrading your security checkin area could be upgraded to medium security. Process more passengers. Research structure so that you can build up or down. Papi light goes near the end of the runway on the side. Plus if you zoom in you’ll see and arrow. Point the arrow towards the end of the runway. Also build the fence around the airport so that prevents animals from roaming around your airport. When you assign staff rooms you don’t need to also say it’s staff zone. The staff room zone covers that.
I really wish you wouldn't go on expanding so much with small stands and runways now that you have medium and large and have the money for it, it would be nice to see the airport expand to medium and large aircrafts before the framerate starts dropping
32:44 Night flights were already enabled. You disabled them when you were switching from GA to Commercial. I was literally screaming at my screen when you were disabling them and also when you couldn't figure out why they were disabled. XD
Dirty secret is that small security checkpoints are the most efficient. 3x3 (9 boxes) with 1 officer vs 8x8 (64 boxes) with 4 officers for a medium checkpoint, but medium checkpoints are not 4x more efficient. Waste of space and crew. I build a couple medium/large to get higher ratings, but most of your throughput should be from small security.
hey conflict nerd just so you know there is a planning tool, which it doesn't build at all until you say so or something like that (idk how to explain it lol)
This is a good idea at the moment although there is a staff security it’s forcing them through the same space as PAX staff need a short way through to airside, the new staff room for ramp agents would have been a good space

@@UKChrisC use different floor, also a dedicated staff zone, after the airport entrance, behind the info/first area desk, with room for staff and corridor to get to other place.
So. I was doing my play through on APCEO and I got an alert. VOLCANO ERUPTION: Your airport is now shut down for 10 hours! I had no idea that was a thing! OMG lmao
Hey Dylan, you disabled NIGHT FLIGHTS at the stands when you enabled COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS, guess you thought you were disabling GA. By default night flights are enabled for all newly build stands. Thx for the series, I love this game.
The only cringe moment was you turned off night flight while making them commercial open and later complained that i have to open them for night flight.... Man you just turn them all of 🙄

If you hover over the staff symbol at the bottom of the screen you can see how many more of each one you need.
Hope this helps
You can have an emergency stand by turning off the auto-scheduler for that stand.
Yes
I like watching this because it shows me all the things I don’t wanna do in my airport
The list goes on

I loved how we watched you turn off night flights on every stand and a minute late be confused why you can’t do night flight.

the unconnected road killed me. seeing all the trucks and busses go arround

Have to say continuing with the smaller stands is a good idea. Build up a very solid base and consistent money maker.

You can make side entrance with security for staff only
This is a good idea at the moment although there is a staff security it’s forcing them through the same space as PAX staff need a short way through to airside, the new staff room for ramp agents would have been a good space

Just a few doors zoned staff only to shortcut around the duty-free maze.
If you create a Staff Room, it puts a Staff Zone on anyway, so there's no need to put down the latter first.
You can use the blueprint button without spending money then finalise it. Its the blue button next to paint!

You should remove the AvGas contract and delete the tanks for it so you won't waste money
Fuel contract is all one, so he needs that contract...
The "how not to build an airport" tutorial 😂
the proper place to place runway papi light is near the runway ramp and i think you need 4 of them
when you scream at the tv as he turns off the night flights what are you doing, then has to tuen them back on haha all good tho mate love your vids
It’s still better than gate 35X at Washington National. That gate is a crime against humanity.
Maybe look at putting a bathroom for arrivals so they don’t go back into departures
You could make a small security stand for workers and turn the worker one into a passenger one
@34:04 might just want to get some more service car stands
dylan just turn off the auto-scheduler for the stand on the planner tab so you can have a "always free" stand to work as an emergency stand
So much of a waisted opportunity for a medium runway
You can rebuild the security and the bording for the remote stands
You culd just move the hangers.
I am excited to continue this series!
Security checkpoint
Larger ones are more efficient
You turned this airport sim into a traffic manager..
Connect the runways
I love this series! :-)
"Do I have to enable night flights for all of them?"
Well you are the one who turned them off in the first place.
Hey Dylan, you disabled NIGHT FLIGHTS at the stands when you enabled COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS, guess you thought you were disabling GA. By default night flights are enabled for all newly build stands. Thx for the series, I love this game.
Should be renamed to Belfast City Busport 😂
can you demolish your old towers?
please install moving walkway for the sake of humanity
Best series ever
can't you build underground and second floors? why not put some things in there?
The only cringe moment was you turned off night flight while making them commercial open and later complained that i have to open them for night flight.... Man you just turn them all of 🙄
If yo skip from ep 8 to ep 10 your going to be so confused
Yaay!
