I saw and listened to Roland in the early seventies at Marvelous Marv's in Denver Colorado. Absolutely one of the best concerts every! Quite the personality too! Today is 2-27-22. Rest in peace Mr.Kirk ❤.
io c'ero!
Roland Kirk and The Vibration Society:- Roland Kirk, reeds; Kenneth Rogers, baritone sax; Donald Smith, piano, vocal; Henry McPherson, acoustic double bass; John Goldsmith, drums; Antony Scott, percussion.

i was so fortunate to hear this genius many times at Paul's Mall in Boston during the 70s.
Deb Venn me as well- at the Village Vanguard in the early 1970s
Now after 50 years of hearing Kirk on nose flute a video of him playing it. I am flabbergasted. Totally.
Look at that drummer drivin' that train! Insanely cool.
Bright Moments!
Gotta love the nose flute!!
Great wind!
List the names of the musicians.
Where can I find the complete video?
Anybody know who's in the band?
Pianist is Donald Smith
