Stay Noisy!
This video was produced by Quincas Moreira and sponsored by Erica Synths.
I really love this module, fills a much needed void. The ONLY thing it's missing is a clock input for the LFO... that would have been a godsend. Oh well, it still rules as it is.
Those rubbery sounds toward the end were especially pleasing!
Yes this is a soud really enjoy too
The A-121 resonance sounds also elastique and plasticy
Sounds fantastic with the guitar
Watching this video while waiting for the last 100k pot to arrive to finish the build.
The Pianet! I ended up selling mine, but I’ll own one again someday
Fantastic. Thanks!
thank you for watching!
this thing sounds Awesome .
I know, right? :)
Dope demo as usual, thanks! Been waiting for the perfect delay for my modular and this might be it! For me delay is more like a hands-on live instrument than just an effect and this ticks so many boxes and sounds great! Especially the built in feedbackloop is a great tool. Can´t wait to run some beats and a sequenced CV into it for rythmic delays and karplus tones. Always loved the chunkiness of EricaSynth modules, so satisfying to play with. Hope they keep the price reasonable... Can´t see it in their shop yet?
Thanks! Yeah, it's a really nice delay, just know that at slower times it gets hella noisy!
It'll be available later tonight Oct 27!
By noise do you mean that high pitch whine, was it some type of clock
bleed or something ( at around 16:00 )? Does it occur at reduced feedback amounts also?
thanks Q ;-)
Love your vids, I wanna be a synth DIY guy!
hey, what's stopping you? :)
@@QuincasMoreira Fear maybe.....I had the same fear, and i first tried soldering on old tv pcbs...and it came..
@@QuincasMoreira Ahahaha!yes!!
Hey thanks for this! Veeeeeery nice! I had a little question. I'm a complete noob in modular but I've been meaning to build a rack but only as an effect box (filtering, delays, spring rev, etc...) mainly for my other hardware synths (analog and digital (p.s. they don't have any cv/gate except my minitaur)) but I might also use it for vocals and electric guitar ('cause it does look like a lot of fun :D ) But would I need some kind of pre amp for that, did you use one? Which one may I ask? Or can I just plug all of that in whatever kind of filter or effects and plug the outs directly in my interface? Thanks in advance and thanks for the demo!!
Can i check if you're using any other delay / reverb when playing the electric piano? I've built this module and my delay times are nowhere near as long as that. Did you have to calibrate the module? Thanks!
Update: The module just needed calibrated. For anyone with similar issues, R7 adjusts the max delay length.
@@theboytheycalljonny1 exactly, I was gonna come say that but I see you've already figured it out :)
@@QuincasMoreira - Yeah - my bad! For some reason i bypassed the calibration and began using the module. I think i got a little too excited. All is well now, thankfully! Thanks again for the videos.
Anyone know where to go if your build doesn’t work?
I have got the wet output working, however even when adjusting the trim pots, I can’t seem to get the classic flanger sound at all.
Cheers
this doesn't really sound like a classic flanger, it's a very unique module. But if you can't replicate the sounds in this video maybe there's something wrong. Try Erica Synths Customer support!
Could someone link me the product page? I don't seem to find it in the linked list of diy kits.
Launching tonight!

where can I get a user manual for this module?
www.ericasynths.lv/media/BBD_Delay_manual_assembly1.pdf
that's assembly. There's no user manual, but this video is pretty complete!
Is that Don Quixote sneaking up on you?
it is indeed!
