Roland did in fact release a series of eurorack modules for audio effects, that also came with a software that allowed you to customize each module to great length. In my book that qualififes as cool. Feel free to disagree.
how do you send vocals to your eurorack? do you go straight from soundcard outputs or through any other eurorack module before hitting the effect ? many thanks, very good video
Hello Erica Synth team. Is it possible to get a similar live visual signal such as the visualizer on your demo? Perhaps something on iPhone / iPad? However, if you made a module that offers signal visualization like this, it would sell like hotcakes!!!
This is amazing , erica makes really great modules , since you mentioned the 808 it would be great if erica released a drumdokta similar module (including 909 sounds) ;)
wow and wow and wow. the nicest eurorack processor ..I had my hopes on tom erbe's awesome hardware versions of his software (that wacky reason alone is worth having it) now this had to just go exist too!!
I have a novice question for ya: with standalone gear, I would use fx pedals in the mixer through “fx sends and returns”,.... Is there a way to do that in the modular world?
Hi. Can you please tell me what was the source of the sound for 4 and 4. effects? That nice pad. And also the pitchshift delay sounds like a frequency shifter rather than pitch shifting effect to me. And I am just looking for a frequency shifter. So my question is does it shift all the frequencies by the same amount as a frequency shifter or is the shifting amount frequency dependent like in a pitch shifter? Thanks
Just installed my new Black Hole DSP last night and am so incredibly impressed. I love it. I sold my MI Clouds for this and couldn't be happier. Saving for an Octasource next.
How did you make the stereo in these demos sound so wide? Could you go into a bit more detail about the digital converters and software you used to record these videos.. thanks
+ShadowⓋ Black Hole DSP makes everything so wide as almost all effects on it are designed to do that. All incoming signals as you see are mono! And scope was recorded by doing screen capture from the VST plugin open in DAW.
You're welcome! Analogue Heaven will carry the Black Hole DSP soon, and Perfect Circuit already have the Ring Modulator, but you can always order directly from our web shop too (www.ericasynths.lv/en/shop). We have everything in stock and we ship to USA.
Turns out someone else enquired a while ago & the answer would indeed seem to be a Roland but are sampled chords from a JX8P. Typical, one of the few Rolands I haven't got! My choice would be the related MKS70 though, as I haven't got that either.
The entertainment value goes up considerably if you’ve swallowed a 5mg gummy. Carry on. 😉🙃😛
True here and pretty much anywhere. Edibles make life better! Lol
awesome!
you can be pretty sure Roland etc would never dare releasing such a cool module in the first place ;)

What you need is a scope plugin with X/Y option. Unfortunately cant recall which plugin we exactly used for this video.
1:40 delay
2:08 delay with drums
2:47 pitch shift delay speech
4:41 moving lp delay
?? high pass delay
7:23 regenerating delay
11:39 glitch delay
13:20 delay into reverb
15:40 4 stage reverb
21:50 lp/hp delay
24:28 hp saturator + reverb
26:23 granular delay
__:__ delay into flanger
29:47 chorus
Why no sync input specially for the delays ? :(
Rate
Wow! This sounds great. May be my first Erica Synths module.
+precarious333 exactly what I thought ;)
+precarious333 me too (+1)
+precarious333 LOL I just said that before reading this ;D
+theIMMUNICORN
Sounds like Erica Synths has a potential hit on their hands.
Quite extensive demo. Thank you for playing more than taking!
Definitely my next module I am getting. It will be my 9th Erica Synths module!
This is amazing , erica makes really great modules , since you mentioned the 808 it would be great if erica released a drumdokta similar module (including 909 sounds) ;)
This could now be my first Erica Synths module; these fx sound fantastic !! o_O
That visualiser should be a module itself.
It is, DATA
Man leave the rate alone! Haha
I want your visualiser from the video inset!
wow and wow and wow. the nicest eurorack processor ..I had my hopes on tom erbe's awesome hardware versions of his software (that wacky reason alone is worth having it) now this had to just go exist too!!
Anybody have a recommendation on a stereo field visualizer like the one overlaid in this video? VST/AU, not modular.
Found the one used here if anyone else is curious: Flux Audio - Stereo Tool V3
Superb Glitch .. But the delay vamp rocks on the sawtooth patch!
27:12 what is modulating the Rate input? A pulse? clock? CV offset? LFO? Also, can the delay time in general be synced to an external pulse? thanks
its modulated by an LFO. Regarding delay times, no they can't be synced with external clock.
i love how it sounds on vocals!
Sounds amazing; good work : -)
Love the DSP - really great. Also just got Wavetable VCO and Pico VCO. Recommend.
Bought the Black Hole 2 at Synthfest UK last year. Sounds great, and build quality is awesome. ☺
what analyzer is that?
Why the rate is on full all the time. Aliasing ?
I have a novice question for ya: with standalone gear, I would use fx pedals in the mixer through “fx sends and returns”,.... Is there a way to do that in the modular world?
AdrianVino Strymon AA.1 module
what are the spoken word samples from? very cool
Ott (Simon Posford) needs some of your gear for sure! Superb sounding!
Just a heads up that Simon Posford isn't Ott :)
Patch 5 with the S&H starting at 8:17 sounds soooooo nice!
Does that tube really turn orange and and red and light up in real life on your modules or is that an illusion?
Renaissance Man Believe your eyes! :) Tube heaters are tiny and glow in orange. But the visualization in this particular video is an oscilloscope :)
Why is my BH DSP so different?
How do I build this full thing?
you can be pretty sure Roland etc would never dare using a news piece about Islam as a demo!
We didn't do that for a purpose, I was just using BBC radio as input for the module and that was on air at that time.
PC crowd has arrived! Level up! Erica Synths have hit a new milestone.
I was being tongue in cheek, I only meant it was refreshing to see a demo like this vs Roland etcs DJ SUPER COOL style promos
nice - what's the xy-scope-software? looks very good. thanks!
It's a free plugin called Flux Stereo Tool.
I looooove Ericaaaa synnnnths!!
wwwooooaaawww i want it :)
easy with that rate knob

+Slašman Makočić That was a recorded chord sample from Roland JXP8
+Slašman Makočić Laso pitch shifter expansion ROM is coming soon and it will feature all kinds of pitch/frequency shifter effects.
+Erica Synths thanks
+Erica Synths Wow. That's amazing! I guess it is exactly what I need then.
will look good in my case
Great demo. Thanks!

Really nice sounding unit.

Right, but what were you sending the audio from, such as the BBC radio broadcasts.. A radio ? Or was it pre-recorded ??
Speech was recorded in real time from BBC radio, nothing pre-recorded! : ) Other sounds comes from modular, various synths and an 808.
Erica Synths
Thanks for the info. Where do I buy a Black Hole DSP or Ring Modulator online in the USA? I looked on eBay, but couldn't find those.
You're welcome! Analogue Heaven will carry the Black Hole DSP soon, and Perfect Circuit already have the Ring Modulator, but you can always order directly from our web shop too (www.ericasynths.lv/en/shop). We have everything in stock and we ship to USA.
Amazing!,i want one
damn great sound, i need one !
Smashing work on this!
This looks great
love your dry humor
just picked one up for $85
!!!!
ordered :)
What's generating the chords at 6:22 ?
they sound great and lush. i would ike to know as well what synth was used. sounds a bit like a juno 60 to me...
Its a sample recorded from Juno : )

I wonder how easily this one can be synced with the best or something rhythmic?
Man turns knobs....randomly. Brilliant!
