- Hey All,
A recently lost all of this footage due to a broken storage drive however I managed to recover some of the data and this was some of it. I shot this in the summer of 2022 when the roof was being tiled and sorted due to the cowboy builder issues (more videos on the channel).
I wanted to shoot the video showing you all that you can do it yourself but didn't want it to be a talk through of "fitting a velux window".
The only thing I would change is I wish I put on the thermal collar on the window just so that it would be in. I have insulated the house very highly and this also covers me for the window so I dont need it but looking back , I should of just put it in.

Trying to get more videos out Pat , shame I lost loads of data !
Be easier to take window out of frame until you finish
Hey Tony ,
Not sure exactly what you meant but all 4 got fitted fine and nice and water tight .
Agree last job is to put the window in when it's all flashed. Loads easier
Had to sheet over when doing these so to save time they were left in. Also I was on my own when I was slating and installing flashing most the time so was a lot easier to leave them in.
