Battling with new velux. Lots of leaks. Builders installed a flashing kit EDW SK10 2000 (red line) with a blue line GGL SK10 3070. Is this a mismatch given the different colours? Would be so grateful for any advice

Hi mate, had 3 fitted and I’m unsure if my windows were fitted correctly, I’m sure they have missed off the insulation collar. Is there any way I could send you sum photos of the windows fitted before it got plaster ? I can’t see that collar like you can in your video on my windows

Hi Carl, the collar is optional. It’s good practice to fit. But it depends if they ordered them with the flashing kits. If the flashing kits have 2000 on them it would come with the kit. But maybe they didn’t fit

@ I’m struggling with condensation on the lower part of the window on the white panel that you see once you open the window. It’s running down thought the frame and making my plaster damp
