I love the way Chams Media avoids the ugly politics in the country and give us Info that makes a lot of sense. Keep it up and don't be tempted by that ugly politics.
I keep saying no one since Independence has done more Infrastructure in Kenya than Uhuru Kenyatta. The entire country is like a construction site. From Roads, to rail, to power generation, to ports, to aiports, to dams...its just phenomenal! A few bumps here and there, but, we are surely headed forward. And if you don't like this, you can sit on a pin!
But most if not all of these projects were started by the previous government. Though it seems like he has woken up this year. I hope initiates some of his own like the affordable housing.
@@stevek8318 well my friend it all started as a vision. Someone had to bring the vision into fruition. Get that. Again,i will say that nobody has done more infrastructure than Uhuru. Number of kilometers of roads done is more than all other three presidents combined, power grid has more than doubled, 75% of Kenya has been l connected to power, Mombasa port capacity has been increased to handle 35 million metric tonnes of cargo, you have a new Lamu port, Kisumu port is back and running after 30 years of being moribund, there's a new 700 kilometer modern railway with over 15 modern stations from Naivasha to Mombasa..a 10,000 acre irrigation scheme, all done in 7years ..and the list is still crazy. You cannot take that from Uhuru. That's narrative has to go. What view were you talking about again??
Wow Nairobi is becoming a power house. its growing. Now lets make it greener. Plant trees on those motor ways, reclaim green spaces and make it a more less polluted city. Now lets move onto electric cars and stop other countries from dumping their second hand fuel consuming cars polluting our environment. Preferably lets buy our own made in kenya fuel cars that cost the same as a second hand imported car. Why should we make other countries richer and us poorer by importing their second hand vehicles while we can make our own brand new cars and create jobs and keep the wealth in Kenya. The only imported second hand cars to be allowed should be electric cars.
Thankyou for your patriotism..Kenya is beautiful and changing fast.. it's sad that our other media always put our country in a campaign mood for 5 years
Alex, whoever is in charge of lot 2 from dagoretti corner tom Karen has to be held accountable. The difference in quality between that section and the Japanese built section is HUGE!!
This is the positive news we need for our country and Africa at large. We dont need BBC, CNN and others to tell our story because it will always be biased and negative. #ChamsMediaTv Asante
Waaaat. Congrats buddy. Felix maringa was my class-mate pale Mumbuni boys High sch, Machakos. What a coincidence. I'm also in the media industry. Hongera 🙏
Uhuru has really done well on the infrastructure, say anything you wish but the truth will remain that, the reason Kenya is broke now, is because of infrastructure which will yield better results in the near future.
That tower at 0.59, I think its called the Nairobi Tower, if I am right goes back to the late 1960's. I remember as a child growing up in Uganda seeing pictures of its construction then. Brings nostalgic memories. Can anyone confirm that please. Thank you.
It's the right time to now have road marshalls or a Sheriff department, something separate from the traffic police, to solely deal with the encroachment of pedestrian paths, parking enforcement along the roads, and do highway patrols. It could have been nice for Felix to interview the authorities concerned, for his welcome interview. Charms Media is truly the DW Tv of East Africa. 🙂
Please please talk to the government to take away small businesses men and women to a decent market places......it's working in smart cities...it's a matter of discipline.....it is looking aquad to see business along the road...the road should be for walking, cycling, cars...and all business in the market....Kenya will look clean organized, and accident and traffic among people reduced
Glad I was part of the team that conducted traffic survey for the installation of those traffic lights by NAS. Sad police still wants to control traffic flow yet we have traffic lights...
Nairobi is a big construction site. This is creating employment and changing the phase of Kenya. We also need more stakeholders and investors who will be in charge in keeping the places clean and greener. We would like to maintain this beauty.
Toronto Canada tuned in. Please do a video on forgotten houses from the colonial era and who the occupants were. These houses are spread all over from Garissa to Lamu ,in fact we lived in one when growing up in Muranga Sports club. The Government compounds were later grabbed by developers at-least from what i saw of our former house in Muranga next to the County commissioner official resident that was also a colonial house done in the 1940's. I have seen some neglected Colonial houses sides za Parklands. who occupied these houses Mr Alex Chamwada- is there a way you can trace their descendants in Britain and obtain pictures of these former occupiers in their hey days ? Think of it as a long term project - it would be nice to see where we came from. also - Do an interview of the Chinese guys working on our roads - what do their families back home look like? Did they ever think of coming to Africa as they grew up? What lessons shall they carry back to China when their time to go back to China. What Chinese wise saying keeps them going on when away from their loved ones ? Like we believe in "mwenda tezi na omo marejeo ngamani" My Whats-app number (+1-647-581-8537 )
Hello Chams Media. I have a suggestion for you guys. Would you kindly cover an analysis documentary on Chinese versus Japan roads here in Kenya and ascertain which are more modernized or best than the other?
Ngong Rd is improved but surfers matatu menace yet again: using the right turn lane on every traffic light as a launching pad to switch Lanes back to forward flowing lanes ... Saftey😶
Nairobi has all it takes to become a world class city. The politicians may need to just get out of the way due to their insatiable appetite for cash from the public purse. With ❤ from food old UG.
Why do we always do 90% of the work, maximum... always? What about the areas between the road and the buildings? Dusty land in a city will always look sad and dingy. The rule is either pave it and design it well, or a have manicured landscape, never dust!!! Also this city is way too big to be hand swept. We need mechanical street sweepers and then have manual laborers do the work machines can't.
