Videos like this make me want to return to Kenya and run to become president so I can even transform the country further. I was born in Kenya but grew up in Canada, where I have been living for 20 years. I have learned allot and would prefer to pass on my knowledge back to my native home. Its great to see such progress but this is just the start.

💯. I cannot agree more with this statement. If you look back to the linking of Garissa to Thika with a good road, the result was a decline in banditry and huge investment in Garissa. The North needs roads, lots of roads, everywhere. It opens up economic opportunity. Then link these roads to Somalia and that further brings opportunity there and PEACE. Well done Chams.😊

These are the kinds of reports you won’t find in mainstream media. They highlight positivity ten times more than the negativity often spread by mainstream outlets. This is the kind of information a sober mind can listen to, unlike those who oppose everything indiscriminately. It reminds me of when Kenyans went to the World Bank's social media to oppose funding, yet now we can see the impact of their work.
As Kenyans, let us offer constructive criticism instead of opposing everything simply because it's being done by someone we don't like. Kenya is ours, and we must work together for its betterment.

Kenya possesses immense potential to emerge as the leading nation on the African continent, given its rich resources, vibrant culture, and strategic geographic location. To unlock this potential, however, the country requires effective and visionary leadership that prioritizes the welfare of its citizens and promotes sustainable development. With the right guidance, Kenya can harness its agricultural prowess, technological advancements, and youthful population to drive economic growth and innovation. Moreover, a commitment to enhancing education, healthcare, and infrastructure will create a solid foundation for progress. Strong leadership can also foster unity among the diverse ethnic groups in Kenya, promoting social cohesion and national pride. By addressing issues such as corruption and governance, the country can build a transparent and accountable system that inspires public trust. In addition, investing in renewable energy and environmental conservation will position Kenya as a model for sustainable practices. A focus on regional cooperation and trade can further boost its influence within Africa. Therefore, with a dedicated and capable leadership team, Kenya stands poised to realize its aspirations and become a beacon of hope and excellence in Africa. The journey towards this goal requires collective effort and a commitment to the greater good.🇰🇪♥️

Well done to kenya and and their international partners, this is how the national resources should be use for the country's development. i feel bad for my country south sudan, they should learn from their neighbors , that there is more to be done for the country' than signing unimplemented peace deals.🤝 Shame on leaders of South Sudan . #SSDLeadersLearnFromYourNieghbors

The project was well managed because it was world bank money, and the bank project managers were strict, and hawk eyed about how funds should be spent with zero eating/corruption. If it were the kenyan govt,..God forbid! Kasongo and co. would have eaten everything and what would be constructed would be worse than what was there before!

it's either a good documentary, or Kenya's Public leaders are good at what they do. It's seen in their explanations and services integration in the projects, and being thoughtful of the local populations far from cities where it traverses.

The road is part of the A1 class, designed under the able leadership of Baba Raila Amolo Odinga in 2003. Construction began during the coalition government, again, starting from the border between Migori and Tanzania at Isebania. Baba left the OPM office having secured the entire funding for the Road from the AFDB, from the border with Tanzania, into Nyanza, Western, Kitale, West Pokot to Turkana and the border at Lokichogio. You will not hear him mentioned. Baba deserves the AUC seat. We regard him so highly and wish him all the best. Signed,
    Allanoh Captain.
