I live and breathe GM but this is a gorgeous truck and one of the best looking vehicles Ford ever put on the road. Im also glad to see the top unchopped
That's one of the best guests you've ever had. What an amazingly likeable guy and GORGEOUS truck. Got a '53 F-250 myself in original factory green. Thanks guys!
That’s such a great piece. Pure Americana without being obvious. The build quality is obvious, the care and attention to detail is a world away from what I’d expect. It’s a thing of beauty.
Oh My Goodness!!!! My first car was a 54 Ford F-100. What memories.... I really enjoyed the Show of this truck. To your surprise and mine is that My truck was emerald green in color and looked very much like this in color. I had to sell it when in College (78) and have always wanted another one. My hats off to Noah Alexzander - He really did the Truck proud. Thank for your show Jay..
AWESOME truck!....great build! This guy is unpretentious & honest about his work. His work ethic & desire to cultivate younger people to join in is admirable too. Would love to see more of his work! Thanks Jay, keep showcasing talent like this!
Glad to see someone else into cars when nobody else in family into the hobby. Took him a lot less time to get into it than me. Wish there had been more outreach for those of us without a mechanic uncle. Thank God for UA-cam today
You guys NAILED this 53.... that thing is a beautiful piece..... THUMBS WAY UP..... You can tell Jay liked this one.....LOL.....he drove it forever....GREAT JOB EVERYONE..... Nice one Jay!!!!!
I had a '53 F100 with a Ford 390 FE engine, C6 transmission and a 9" Ford rear differential with 3:50 gears. Great truck that I drove near everyday for 20+ years.
silverss onyoutube it takes an awesome ride to make it awesome. I've seen a Chevy Tahoe with the same color. It looked like crap the guy added some huge chrome rims.
Noah just seems so to the point of what he does, has done, and what he will be doing. This guy really has his **** together for a guy that his family weren't into cars. He's on target like the truck he's riding in. Great build.
This guy Noah Alexander is amazing. He's got both mechanicals and aesthetics down cold, and seems like a nice guy besides. Not particularly big on what they did with this truck, but they did it amazingly well.
Yeah. The wheels and overly slammed looked are awful, but it’s most beautiful beside that. I personally prefer that extremely paint stripped patina look on these (as if a ton of different metals are oxidizing on it).
The craftsmanship seems mind blowing, the lines being cut off from not chopping the roof tingling with my OCD, but still mind blown by the beautiful details on it
I love this truck. I think Mr. Noah did a fantastic job by putting the owners personal touches on it while still retaining the soul of ole '53. It looks new and it looks '53. Plus the Green with the "bronze" and the brown leather just look spectacular. Those seats really do look like they are the age of the truck but still fresh. I could almost smell the leather through my screen.
I have watched all of Noah's shows. I am going to be in St Louis soon and planning on going to his shop. Thank you Jay for having him and that beautiful 53 Ford on your show
I never comment on much of anything, but I enjoyed the hell out of this one. What a great build and you can tell how natural that was. Every so often one of these builders just comes across as insanely passionate and humble about their work. PS, that volume is horrific...glad I'm not the only one. Cranked my laptop speakers and could barely hear it.
Noah, your team consists of extremely talented Craftsman. This truck is "KILLER" in my humble opinion. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks Jay for bringing this truck to video.
I love it . This is so nice. The one thing I would like to see is a little more rubber on the rims. That low profile rubber-band look on a classic doesn't look right to me personally.
Agreed. I am doing a 1949 truck resto mod, and will wind up spending a fortune to get modern but factory looking wheels and tires. I liked Jays comment regarding the steering column. I am the same way, keeping the original steering column and steering wheel.
I love the idea of this truck. Great looking, custom and dependable. Decent hp with modern comfort. Its like a brand new modern truck but with the 50s look.
Aufrichtig Forty when the show did a side profile of the truck..... I am damn near picked up my jaw from the floor. The fenders , the bed and the cab. Wow!
Loved this episode. The truck was beautiful. The camera shots and angles of the drive were amazing. And the communication between the dude and jay were overall good conversations
Jay is not a collector. He is an adorer of cars. His excitement is somehow greater than all the other car shows with the possible exception of Calvin's Car Diary but he's in the UK with car specs the US can't have. (not that I'm able to have any of these cars quite yet!). Thank you again Mr. Leno!
Honestly I guess that is the most beautiful car I've ever seen! I'm not a car expert and normally I'm not a big pickup fan. But that beauty is just perfect. It's subtle, the color just stands out, the wheels, the details.... It's just a dream. I love the many car shows in television, and also watched it in Noah's show and stumbled upon this clip. Just have to say that I'm toatally in love with this build! ♥♥♥
Noah good job another great example of the work you and you shop does. I like how you guy's don't cut corners or compromise on your builds like most of the other car shows on TV.
Jay great show, that’s the longest you’ve drove in quite a while. If you watch Noah’s show you can tell he is a genuine good guy and truly loves what he does and it shows in his builds. It is one of the few shows on Velocity that is worth watching. Velocity is going in a weird direction. Please do a show with your white XK 120 roadster, I have asked a couple times, anybody else like to see that car, tell Jay!
I'm currently starting a 53' build and I saw this one on his show and I'm super inspired by it, they did a beautiful job. I hope mine turns out half as awesome.
my cousin has a candy apple red f100 he has had it since he was a teen his first car/truck. So many fond memories hanging out with him and using the truck!
It’s refreshing to see a ‘53 build instead of another ‘56. I like the ‘55 grill the best out of the ‘53 to ‘56 models , the fact that it still has mirrors and door handles as apposed to being shaved is a nice touch as well. I would have liked to see the undercarriage and the way the bed was floor was raised and mounted. Not a fan of the wheels, but it is a beautiful build none the less.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE those color choices. Such absolute beauty. Personally, I would have gone with more "truck-like" wheels and tires, and had at least 6 inches of clearance, but other than that, .. Freakin' Awesome!
Wow! That is one gorgeous truck. The paint is awesome. My 1st vehicle was a 1953 f100. I think we paid $300.⁰⁰ for it in 1965. It was a work truck & it never looked anything like Noah's work of art. I painted it Bright Lime Green and we called it the "Green Hornet". Had a lot fun with that old truck. Again, beautiful job. Thanks Jay & Noah. 👍
That is a neat build. The colors are awesome... The green, bronze and brown it all goes and its pleasing to the eye. Love '53 Ford pick ups. Brings back memories of my dads pick up going up.
Jay has worked with entertainment "stars" for decades and he is used to not listening to what they are saying since they are not saying anything, actually.
The one thing I usually hate about modern hot rods, are the wheels and this is no exception. It’s only my personal taste but I just love the stock wheels on these old cars
It's a different type of show, therefore not comparable to me. But I agree that it's a show for true enthusiasts because Jay is a true enthusiast. He's wicked funny while talking about CARS, not stars!
I like this guy; he knows what he's talking about and has concise answers to all the questions. If I had the money, I would confidently spend it with him.
The motor and exhaust on this truck sound fantastic! When Jay first turned over the motor and it came to life with a low mellow throaty sound I nearly creamed!
jay needs to do more of these simply because they are so easy to get in and out of as opposed to the exotic sports cars. trucks and classic resto mod trucks are great.
Same. And for strange I love tan with brown fenders. Earth tones are cool. But there are plenty who love wild colors and pearls, fades, all the customy paint. Variety man, it's the spice of life.
as much as I like vintage and classic vehicles I have to say that a stock early 50's F series truck just never grabbed me, that is, until now. The restored is absolutely gorgeous. Well done!
I LOVE 50s pick up trucks! the 53 Ford and the 56&57 Chevy are my favorites just classic styling and beautiful lines. I have always wanted one of these. I know I will not be able to afford one in this condition sadly. Hats off to Classic Car Studio on another stellar build!

That green and flat bronze looks great. I like that leather too. Sick build! 🔥
This guy is a perfectionist yet he seems so chill n genuine.. killer build
Those era Fords are the best looking trucks ever in my opinion. Great attention to detail on this build. Sounds just spectacular

ya i was thinking Forest Green Metallic like my old 91 GTA, but maybe a tad lighter? it's nice
JaKBaLL TV 91 GTA, sweet!
The green paint that turns purple in some light is ChromaFlair. It was a TVR paint option 15 years ago
Fraser Wright thank you for the history lesson. I genuinely didn’t realize that those TVRs actually came like that from factory. Lol

Please can you allow captions in future episodes for the deaf and/or hard of hearing? Please like this comment so they can actually see this.
Agreed!
Absolutely yes, also because audio is not always great and in noisy places is kinda useful have captions
I don't even have hearing problems and this one gives me trouble. Sound mix is dreadful.

I love the idea of this truck. Great looking, custom and dependable. Decent hp with modern comfort. Its like a brand new modern truck but with the 50s look.
Props to Ford's design studio. I remember the 1953 Ford F-150 when it was new, and the styling was clean and uncluttered and well ahead of its time.
Aufrichtig Forty when the show did a side profile of the truck..... I am damn near picked up my jaw from the floor. The fenders , the bed and the cab. Wow!
absolutely beautiful truck, I love the subtle touches and as mentioned the matte bronze it goes damn well with the green paint. beautiful work!

The camera 🎥 reflection on the paint, super clear, super clean. Very well done.
That rig is spot on perfect man - props to the crew who made that happen
Beautiful, perfect truck! So glad it’s a manual too. It’s very often I see amazing old truck hot rods and it’s an automatic which disappoints.
That guy is just cool, relaxed and talks the talk, delighted his business is successful, I’m sure he’s worked for it the hard way

I'm not really into custom stuff but this one is amazing. It has character, class and a modern touch that is subtle. Nice one!
21:50 Jay looks so natural behind the wheel of this truck, almost like he's off for a days work
Reminds me of my Uncle John, carpenter who wore the denim on denim and now has white hair.
The paint on this truck is absolutely stunning. You can see the reflections of the lights in the paint are perfect, it looks beautiful.
Great interview. Great build. Noah has an awesome philosophy and story. I wish the builder all the success.

I've fired a few boat V8s that went under so yeah they can still run if not locked up too bad depending.
I thought the same thing “it was under water” “so did it run?” 😂😁
I like the way that Noah Alexander is not trying to be a show off, but rather a straight forward guy. This is how it is Jay.......
Beautiful work... Another great episode, thanks Jay.
What a SWEET truck. I'm a huge fan of the early 50's Fords... Great powerplant with plenty of power for a truck that light.
The one thing I usually hate about modern hot rods, are the wheels and this is no exception. It’s only my personal taste but I just love the stock wheels on these old cars
Jay Leno's Garage , your show puts the Top Gear boys to shame!! Each episode is great. True motor vehicle enthusiasts!

used to have a 1979 F-100 Custom with a 302 loved it and drove it into the ground. Great truck.
The motor and exhaust on this truck sound fantastic! When Jay first turned over the motor and it came to life with a low mellow throaty sound I nearly creamed!

Ive been a chevy fan since age 12. But the 53 Ford is a gorgeous truck. Absolute love the grill, and the iconic v8 badge. Nice build.
great truck, love the green with the bronze highlights.
just a little too low for my taste.
great video again Jay.
These resto mods are works of art.
Loving that Build, ESPECIALLY the sweet color! 👍⚡⚡
as much as I like vintage and classic vehicles I have to say that a stock early 50's F series truck just never grabbed me, that is, until now. The restored is absolutely gorgeous. Well done!
The shape looks weirded to be that low. I think it would look good lifted with normal wheels and rubber. The rest is beautiful 👍🏾
Very high quality workmanship on that truck, the body and paint look amazing.
This guy does good work
Absolutely gorgeous truck and the paint is killer
I LOVE everything about that truck! Except maybe the wheels.
Oh yeah?........Well don't DARE drive it around on all the REAL roads & streets found all over America. You'll destroy the underside completely.
